F & C Air Duct

My wife called the company and explicitly stated there were items in the air ducts dropped by a toddler. When the technician arrived, my wife again explained the issue. The technician then hooked up their negative air flow whatever machine for 25 minutes. At the end, he told us the dust is all out. When asked about the items dropped in the ducts, he stated we don't do that. They then charged our card $200 for a service we didn't ask for or need. The phone representative only gave her first name as Tiffany. When calling the company, they offered no resolution and insinuated that we misunderstood. This is a complete scam. We would never have agreed to air duct dust particle cleaning. There's no evidence it actually helps. See the EPAs information on it: [*** Link removed ***] We were entirely misled by the representatives of this company, and our money stolen for a service we never asked for. Avoid them at all costs.

Be careful when order duct cleaning services as they will try and rip you off with hidden fees. Up front they tell you it's $99 for first 10 feet then $8 for every foot after that. If you have a long dryer vent like me, what they don't actually tell you is it's not how long your duct is measured is by it's outside width, but by how many of those flexible nylon rods they can jam in there. We actually measured the vent together and showed that it was 24'. (Maybe 30' ft top to account for any margin of error), but they claimed they shoved 45' feet of nylon into the vent. This was nearly double what my duct actually measures and we measured it together. I don't feel like I got double the services, especially, since all they really did was spend 15 minutes with a cordless drill and brush extension. If possible, ask them to quote you upfront to avoid surprises at the end.

Great changing my A/C filters to washable ones (better for the environment) as well as clearing my dryer duct! Quick to give estimate and fast service to get it done!

Mike at F & C Air Duct came out to fix my dryer and clean my vents. He was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, courteous, worked quickly and explained patiently everything that was going on with my dryer and vents. Competitively priced and very responsive. I called in the morning and he was out to my house by afternoon. Can not recommend them enough - fantastic to have someone in the industry like this.

Mike and his crew do excellent work! We had our duct work cleaned and also a new dryer vent was installed. He's a great guy and explains everything and answers all of your questions. There is an old furnace in my unit with pilot light which has not been used for a couple of years. Called on Friday for service, Mike showed up on Saturday morning. Mike checked to make sure Furnace in working condition and then thoroughly cleaned it up and replaced the dust-covered filter. Mike vacuumed all the vents completely. During the whole process, they covered the nearby areas with plastic sheets. After the work, the floor was cleaned up like new again. Everything was finished within one and a half hours. Many thanks for getting my family ready for the coming winter.!!

Thank you F&C Air Duct for an amazing and speedy job on cleaning the dryer vent! I called Mike on Monday and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday evening. Of course I was impatient so I called again on Tuesday to see if there was any way they could come out today. Sure enough Mike made it happen!!! Mike came by this evening and within 45 minutes cleaned the vent plus replaced my old silver looking thing (because it had holes). Before he left he made sure to put everything back and even cleaned up. I would 100 percent recommend this company and Mike. Thank you so much! Everyone is so professional, polite and courteous.

Mike from F&C Air Duct was fabulous. We had no records as to when furnace/air duct vents were last cleaned. Last occupant had been there 7-8 years and no records prior to that either. Mike and his partner arrived early, efficiently set up, thoroughly cleaned & sanitized all the vent ducts and furnace inside, patiently explained what was being done and patiently answered/educated on all questions, and they thoroughly cleaned up before leaving. They were very pleasant to work with and did a great job. I would definitely recommend their services.

The crew were very polite and did a great job of cleaning out my ducts after construction. They took before and after photos and WOW. they were so thorough and talked to me a lot about the job. I felt they were super trustworthy. I left my house several times to run errands without concern. They themselves were super dirty when they left which was sort of satisfying to see - just knowing my ducts were dust free. If you ever get lucky enough to have them come clean your air ducts, you'll see what I mean.

Had the best experience with F&C. I was in a bind and needed someone to come in short notice and he came right to my rescue. Super professional, super proficient and got the job done! I would highly recommend this business if you want to great customer service and someone to get the job done!

The owner is very soft-spoken guy, but did a good hard work to find the problem with my dryer exhaust duct. He is my go-to-guy now.

They did an outstanding job on my place. I had just finished construction and the air vents were full of construction dust. They worked efficiently to remove the dust and I believe my house is even cooling better than before. The guys were cool and approachable. I wasn't concerned about them in my house unsupervised. I got a cool trusting vibe from them. I highly recommend!

I chose them because They were very responsive with Angie's List messages and he provided an estimate online. They showed up on the day of the cleaning and they both did a great job. They were exceptionally friendly, courteous and answered whatever questions I had. The cleaning took a few hours and they put everything back the way it was before.

I had a water filled, sub-slab, vent duct for the dryer that was not allowing my dryer to work properly. The dryer smelled like mildew and wouldn't dry clothes, but I could tell the heating element was working. The tech drove 80 miles in terrible traffic to fix our problem. He was EXTREMELY nice, professional, and clean. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him and his company for any of your vent issues (dryer, A/C or heating). I did a fair amount of online research before choosing this company, and I'm glad I did. Although I received lower quotes elsewhere, once I started investigating, it seemed that F&C was in fact the least expensive for a full cleaning of every part of my HVAC system. When the cleaning was performed, I was impressed by the work - they seemed genuinely passionate about what they were doing, and were happy to walk me through what was going on.
