I will not bother with Estes again for any HVAC work. I will not recommend them to anyone.

Great! On time and very professional. No problem with the system since their visit.

They charge about $150 a year and for that they come out and inspect our system and when if we have a problem and we call we are bumped up on the waiting list in other words because we have this service we get priority. They service our equipment, so they know the inside and out and don’t have to spend lot of time trying to figure out what in the world is going on. He is familiar with me and my equipments and so he just comes and knows where it is. I don’t have to worry and I know the routine so we both have been trained. They do good and responsible work.

He did check pressure and the freon. He makes you feel comfortable.

Had turned on AC for first time this spring and tripped the main breaker to the entire condo.. Have MS and am very heat intolerant. Called Estes and requested a service tech ASAP. A little over an hour later a service technician was at my front door!. He checked out my AC/Heat exchange unit in the attic as well as the heat pump located on the roof. Tested all the basic elements of the HVAC system and determined that the capacitor in the AC exchange unit needed to be replaced. The technician explained his meter testing results and why it probably caused the tripping of the main breaker. Since the system is ageing- AC exchanger-circa '87 and the heat pump is circa '97, we discussed all the alternatives i.e. repair vs replacement and associated ball-park costs. He then did follow-up testing of the air-flow inside the condo after replacing the capacitor. I signed up for a twice-a-year service agreement which provides discounted prices for replacement parts and set up a follow-up appointment with Estes to discuss replacement options for the AC exchange unit/and/or Heat Pump. The technician explained the bill-$139.00 for the service contract (senior discount) and $141 for the capacitor. The capacitor cost will be credited if I decide to replace the AC exchange unit. Prior to my MS, I had been the President of our Condominium Association for over a decade, and have worked with a MULTITUDE of service companies. Rarely have I dealt with a more professional, "attention-to-detail" and customer-oriented company such as Estes Heating and Air and service technician, Esli. As evidenced by my experience, It's apparent to me why this locally-owned company has been in business for over thirty years!

They quoted a good price & were able to deliver with a week, and everything appears to be satisfactory.

Went great - easy to understand quote- analyst did a good job assessing our needs compared with other companies, very responsive to phone calls and questions. Arrived when promised to install, worked efficiently to install new A/C units, wore shoe covers in the house to protect the flooring, etc. Reviewed the warranty with me post-install and where to register Trane product; also received a letter post installation with formal 1 year service agreement which was nice and official. Pricing was very competitive and we felt they did not sell us something we did not need which is crucial in this economy.

I always use them but I don’t have a contract this year. I usually have a service contract with them. I have my house on sale so I didn’t have my furnace checked out, as it is relatively new. I am just trying to spend as little as possible. They have always been very good. They are very reputable. They are good. They have the same gentleman come out every time and he is very nice. He is very knowledgeable about the furnace and what the air conditioner needs too. They are just good tech's. I used to have a service contract with them for about $189 a year for them to come out twice a year to check air conditioner and the furnace twice a year. It was worth it because if one has a service contract, they put one at the top of the list if something goes wrong. They have always come right out and fixed it whenever I have had trouble, like my thermostat. I had to have it replaced twice and they were very accommodating. I did have to pay for the thermostat that one year and that was very costly. However, normally, their price is very good. The quality of service is really good. They are good with their responsiveness. They give me a 3 to 4 hour window but they always come within the window. They always came when I needed them. I had had trouble with one tech that was an odd duck that I guess retired. They immediately changed it for me and I had somebody who is very nice and has been coming for the last five years. They are accommodating. I think my current tech’s name is Mr. Don. He is just real pleasant. He puts little plastic covers over his feet so he does not get the dirt in. They just really want to please their customers.

This company is fantastic, I have been just tickled pink with them. They have been more than efficient, and they came the same day I called. They do their thing quickly and professionally, they clean up well, and the leave. Very good experience.

Estes is very quick to respond to any problem and seem to have experienced and knowledgeable technicians. However, they grossly overcharge for parts. The control board that they charged me $477 for (and this was with a 15% service contract discount) was available online for $170. I can understand that they are in the business to make a profit, but I consider a 200% markup to be excessive. I will be interviewing other companies when it comes time to renew my service contract. (By the way, during another visit I asked the technician to quote me a price to replace my thermostats...he gave me a price of $190 each...the exact same thermostat was available online at Amazon for $45...I bought from Amazon and installed it myself.)

They did the entire thing in one day. They did what they said and they did it when they said they would do it. They were reliable and there weren’t any problems with the workers.

We spent $6500 on that service. They did what they said they were going to do and we have been very happy with it. The price was what we expected it to be. They were very responsive and we had no problems with the punctuality. They did what they said they were going to do and when they said they were going to do it. We are using them to service the units and filters and everything.

I would give them a very low rating. They came to my house three or four times. They sent three different people, and they broke my pipe that drains my air conditioner. They still haven't come back to fix them. There was never anything wrong with the air conditioner or the fan, it was the thermos that was broken. They didn't even bother to even look at the thermos. I need to get on them to come back and fix the pipes that they broke. One guy was too lazy to get the ladder from his truck, and I didn't have one in my condo, so he decided that he would climb on my pipe to take a look at my fan and he broke them. They put the sloppy blue glue on them. They still haven't solved the problem. I fixed out my problem by figuring out that it was a problem with my thermostat. They were fine with responding, but they didn't know what they were doing. One guy who came to my place had filthy hands and clothes. I had to ask him to wash his hand because he was getting marks on my walls.

Jalil showed up on time and was very professional. He asked me to show him where the inside unit was and then he went outside to look at the outside part. He explained how our system worked and he answered all of my questions. He also was very honest as far as what we should fix and what we should replace. He stated that it was `

Howard Moore came to evaluate and estimate the job. Howard is very knowledgeable and professional and polite. Howard came with David, Jared and Robert to get the job started. They were on time, covered the floor with heavy canvas and wore protective covers over their shoes and left everything clean. Howard helped get the job started and to leave for another job. David, Jared and Robert are three very professional, courteous and knowledgeable men that truly care about doing a superior job. Hard to find people like that any more! I wish I had pictures of the before and after to show the wonderful job they did!!!! It is truly outstanding. I researched lots of information and companies before we decided to undertake this project and they surpassed my expectations! The price is excellent for the work performed.

I have signed a service agreement with them. They were professional and it seemed like they did everything correctly. I didn’t climb up into the attic and supervise them, but it seemed fine. The one thing that I like better than the service provider who I was using before is that they don’t try to sell me on everything else which the other provider was doing. They used to say that my ducts needed to be cleaned and they were going to offer the other thing and that was how much it was going to cost and they kept upgrading my filters. Estes told me that I didn’t really need those fancy filters and they put the regular standard filter that I used to have. I don’t know if there’s any difference in terms of what it does, but the fancy ones did cost twice as much. I appreciate their straightforwardness. I couldn’t even get the technicians from the other provider out of the door without them giving me a sales pitch every single time which was one of the reasons why I switched. Estes doesn’t do that and they just show up to do what they are supposed to do. They also send me a mail reminding when it’s time to renew and schedule my next appointment which is helpful too. I would continue to use them in the future.

Tech showed up on time, did repair and finished in a short amount of time.

My Trane air conditioner started blowing out warm air over the weekend. I went outside, and the compressor was not running. I tried using the reset switch and flipping circuit breakers with no success. I waited overnight and then tried all this again with no results. From the humming of the compressor, I could tell it was getting electrical power. I called Estes at about 10:00 this morning (Monday) and got an appointment window from noon until 5:00. Rick Smith was available earlier than that, and I talked to him over the phone about the issue while I was on the MARTA train. By the time I got home at about 11:30, the work to replace a capacitor was complete! The price was $181, but just before writing the check, I asked about the annual contract, which is $149, less than the $200+ that I paid to the old Peachtree Service Experts back in 2007. I not only got the contract with Estes; the rep took $40 off today's service. For $299 I got the contract covering two future visits as well as today's repair. I am a former customer of Peachtree Service Experts, whose service really declined from the time I purchased my system in 2005. They always recommended a lot of extras after they had installed the system themselves. I'm pleased to find in Estes what appears to be a very good service provider.

The upstairs' AC unit stopped working and the control panel didn't have any power. I called the company around 3 p.m. and was pleasantly surprised when the technician, Paul Harrison, came out within the hour. He was very courteous and professional. He made about five trips between the top attic to the basement for the fuse box to fix a leaking capacitor and find the burnt wiring. I was very impressed with his work. I will definitely use this company again.

Realized today that the basement system was not working. Looked on Angie's list and selected Estes because they had the best reviews. Went ahead and signed up for a 1 year mtc contract for $299 since the people I have used in years past are not in the business from one year to the next, and because my units are 14 years old, I realize I will most likely get my money back on the first call (I almost did but not quite). Estes had technician Paul Harrison at my door within a little over an hour! He quickly found the problem, fixed it, and then performed maintenance on all 3 of my units. During mtc found another capacitor that was about to blow on the upstairs unit. Would have resulted in call within a very short period of time. All told, spent about 3 hours cleaning, inspecting and repairing. Very nice and conscientious of not tracking in any mud or yard debris into my house by wearing shoe covers. I tried not to hover while he worked but he did not mind my checking in on him and asking questions. Did not intimidate or try to upsell. I am happy I bought the mtc contract and feel confident I selected the right company.

The evaluation starts with the main HVAC system where they replace the air filter first. They checked all the connections and gauges before heading outdoors to the AC unit. We had an ancient unit, so it needed freon charging,w which they performed promptly at (appropriately) added cost. They encouraged us to update our system which we did - unfortunately not with Estes (another vendor got us a 16 SEER double speed, qualifying for rebates, for what Estes quoted a 13 SEER. Estes wasn't the most expensive and were our close second choice.

We really liked them. We liked that they showed up when they said that they were going to. They did exactly what they said that they would . They cleaned up afterwards which was very nice. We called them and they were here the day after.

Wow! A whole narrative? I enrolled in Angie's list. I looked up AC repair. Estes had a 100% positive rating. I called them first. They came that same day! The technicians who came seemed very down-home and experienced. They gave their diagnosis, cleared the drain, and that was that. But then it leaked a bit again. A second fellow came promptly and did more ferocious cleaning, I guess. The AC seems fine now. We are to clear the drain at regular intervals by pouring in Clorox. I bought a service contract which covers two regular maintenance visits/ year.

Absolutely thrilled! I couldn't have had a better experience with Estes. The technician arrived within the scheduled time frame. Customer service called 30 minutes before he arrived to let me know that he was on the way. Esli was very thorough with the inspection and explained what he was doing and answered my many questions. While inspecting, he did find some burned wires (a finding that had totally freaked me out) and explained the causes and was able to fix the problem. The repair was $61 which I was more than happy to pay and thought was very reasonable. I had purchased the contract for $149 for spring/fall service and will definitely continue to use Estes for my heating & air service.

I got them off Angie's List website. They came out within 2 hours. I spent $240.00 to replace the contacts. I think they were awesome. I replaced a tanked water heater with a tankless water heater. Their pricing was very reasonable. I looked around at a lot of different prices. When they got it installed, they had to move some pipes. It looked really good when they finished. The air-conditioner had actually stopped working. By the time I found out about it, it was close to noon and they came right out. They were there by 2 o'clock.
