Estes Services - HVAC Plumbing & Electrical

I called to make an appointment to have someone service our AC units and also find out why we could hear one of them running when we r in the living room and they don't have any availability until June. Um, sounds like they need to hire some more techs. Very disappointed.

They've been reliable and their price has been pretty reasonable.

I have used Estes for the service of my Air Conditioning & Heating for many years. I purchase a service contract every year and they always send me a reminder to schedule the service in the fall for my furnace and in the spring for my air conditioner. I never have a problem with scheduling and they always call before arriving. They are professional about their job and if there is a problem they have gone above and beyond to fix it to my satisfaction. They have always been prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend them. I think the charge for the contract is reasonable and competitive with other companies.

Service tech came out to diagnose HVAC problem, which turned out to be outside compressor. Sales rep came out next day to give quote on repairing versus replacing system. He then threw in a water heater on the deal after giving the quote. A second service provider came out to give a quote on an identical system, but could not come close to the quote I got from Estes - not even taking the water heater into account. They came out on a Saturday to do the job because of my limited availability.

My Air Conditioner stopped running. Ants had gotten into the wiring and destroyed a box. Peter came out and offered me several options, none of which were a new A/C unit. He replaced the parts which were damaged, cleaned the unit, and was very friendly. I didn't feel pressured or feel like I was taken advantage of. I appreciated his honesty.

They were great! I called this morning and my water heater was installed today. I have used Estes for my heating and air for many years now and have never been disappointed. I was excited to see they now offer plumbing services and they are just as friendly, fast and efficient with plumbing as they are with heating and air.

Elliott Brockman was the technician. I called in an emergency because the water heater was gas and it was leaking. I got the answering service and Elliott called me back within the next 10 minutes. He explained the Sunday charge and I explained my anxiety concerning making sure the gas and water were offi. We agreed on the Sunday charges and he explained they also carried the water heaters on their trucks now and he could do the work today. I use Estes for my air conditioning service and have used their plumbing services before. Elliott was professional in all aspects of explaining the job, getting it done and cleaning up and explaining the new equipment. I have been very pleased with all of Estes services and will continue to call them for all the electical, plumbing & heating & air services.

It went very well. They said that it would take a day but it only took them half a day to finish.

Called him on 08/28/13 to find out were my quote was. He said he would email it, due to SPAM issues, I texted him 2 email address to use. Got nothing. Called again 08/29/13 and he said that he was really swamped and that he would send it later. I reminded him that since I had more than one services, I wanted each item to be separated so I could decide on which items to move forward with. Still nothing, called on 08/30/13 and asked for the quote by end of day. He said he could not do that........if he had the quote ready to email 2 days earlier, what is the issue???????????????????????????? I did contact them again. Response from Estes is incorrect. Why not contact me if they really care about the customers.

Estes came out the next morning and did a thorough job of troubleshooting and repair, and got my troublesome Carrier Infinity system working again. Estes does my annual preventative maintenance and they also service my Carrier Extended Warranty. My Carrier system has had many problems, and Estes has been great. I wish I'd had Estes install my system instead of West Georgia Heating (WGH did a terrible installation job and had extremely bad service).

They're very good. I don't have any complaints. I've been using them for the last 3-4 years. They do good work and I'm happy with them.

They came out, they were very nice. They performed the service, did a tune-up and added freon to my system. They were on time and very professional.

It was excellent! They were very professional & thorough. They set you up with a reasonably priced service plan & they respond and have good follow up.

We purchased a new home in October and upon inspection, it was clear that the two HVAC units needed replacing. ESTES replaced the units and cleaned all the air vents in the house this past December and then returned in April for a maintainence visit. The installation team was very professional and things went smoothly. Their maintanence technicians are also very professional and knowledgeable.

I haven't received the invoice yet. I would use them again.

They show up on time and are very professional. They are honest about the system and any maintenance that is needed. Overall I am very pleased with the service.

It went good the service guy was on point. The downside of the company is the pricing. The service side of the company is excellent they are very knowledgeable.

Flawless, as usual. They installed a new system for us a couple of years ago, and have taken care of it since. They are always professional and friendly - and timely.

Estes installed a new Carrier air conditioner and furnace in our house back in December of 2010. We didn't mind paying extra for what we thought was a reputable company in Carrier and customer-oriented installer in Estes. It has worked pretty well and we had scheduled Estes to service the equipment. Recently the cooling in the air conditioner has been barely able to cool the house and we scheduled another maintenance with Estes. It turns out the two and a half year old evaporator coil needed to be replaced if we wanted the AC to work. The good news was that the evap coil was still under warranty from Carrier. The bad news was it would cost $750 to have Estes install and replace the part. In subsequent conversations, Estes did agree to lower the price to about $550 for the approximately two hours of service that would be required. Maybe this stuff does happen, but the $550 of service seems pretty steep to replace a part that shouldn't have failed. Overall Estes has been pretty polite but I could not get a straight answer for why the part failed. Was it a problem with the part or a problem with the installation? When I asked the service guy, he said that the maintenance was perfect and that was not the issue. My concern is if I will need to call someone out in another two and a half years to replace the part that is being installed now. At this point I cannot recommend Estes, nor would I have made the same decision to go with Estes and Carrier knowing what I know now.

These peopl are just true professionals, and I so do like having them come to my home. They just do excellent work, and so dependable. Wish all other companies were like them.

I find them dependable, polite, and they get the job done.

Contacted them to get started on an annual maintenance plan for the two heat pumps in my house. They gave me a great price and scheduled me for 5/6 but ended up being able to come out on 5/2. The technician was very friendly and didn't mind answering the many questions I had. Found that both units were a little low on Freon and they charged them up. The annual maintenance was a little over $200. The rest of the charges were for the parts that were replaced and the Freon. We had not had the units serviced since they were installed in 2008. They also replaced the blower motors assists on both units. Glad to have this done so quickly before the hot weather gets here!

The experience has been all good with them. They are dedicated to service. When I used them years back, my air went out and they came out the same day.

We had to replace an old furnace. The unit was over 20 years old and the cost to repair was too high relative to the cost to replace. We were without heat for a few days but Estes worked to get us installed on a Saturday. It was expensive but they did a good job and we are now toasty warm! Did ask for and receive a "cash price" which saved a few hundred dollars!
