Estes Services - HVAC Plumbing & Electrical

Estes performs a furnace and air conditioning inspection each year. They are professional and do excellent work. As a result of an inspection, it was determined our furnace couldn't be used. They replaced it. At least 6 years of excellent service.

I used Estes for my semi-annual HVAC check up. The techs are always courteous and efficient and take time to explain any issues that they discover. Estes has taken care of my HVAC gear for over 10 years now, and I see no need to change.

Perfectly. Estes keeps cool in the summer and toasty in the winter.

Technician took the time to answer my questions, showed me how to change my filter and was extremely polite, patient and professional. Can't beat the 3Ps.

It went well for the most part. I was told about their maintenance plan and how that would be a benefit for drainage of the item but they had to do some other service to the drainage portion and so what happened was I got the service done at a discounted price, but not what I was expecting based off the phone call that I had with the person that answered the phone. But I overall am satisfied with Estes

Steven was excellent. He was patient and attentive to our needs. He communicated effectively while demonstrating the good and bad of our air condition system.

Estes is trustworthy and provides quality work. I use Estes for my HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.

Their service person was more interested in selling than in service. He told us all the things that were wrong, ow much it would cost and it was in thousands of dollars. We could set up a monthly payment plan He scared us. We have since gone to a local service company.

Great work, great service, and they even take pics of your ducts. I now have a maintenance agreement with them.

They are prompt courteous and quite knowledgeable. Absolutely recommend.

Repeatedly charged me a lot of money without even understanding the problem. I finally called someone else, who fixed it fairly cheaply. Would not use them again.

Upcoming HVAC service very soon for the winter. I look to have the same excellent results that I have been receiving over the last 7 years from Estes.

We had Estes install a new ac unit and furnace. They showed up on time and completed the work. The team was great and I would definitely recommend Estes.

They replaced a furnace. Cold air return was 16x25. Now it is 16x20. Their service technician who came out a month ago for poor cooling told me it should be 16x25 and their employee who sold the job and spec’d it was terminated as he incorrectly spec’d jobs. Estes will not fix the problem

I’m somewhat of a long time customer with service contracts on my heater, air conditioner and plumbing. Last few “services” were average at best. In comparing annual service contracts, I find them to be on the pricey side.

I have been using Estes Services for years and have a maintenance contract with them. They are prompt and professional. They just replaced my air conditioning at my new residence last year. Great people working there.

None from Estes has been here since last spring. I did not agree to have electrical and plumbing return because their inspection was not good. It consisted of looking with a flask light into the pipes to see if they were open. For electrical they only turned on the lights. I can do this myself and not pay $80. Evelyn Hull

This zoning system was done approximately 4-1/2 years ago. Within the first 1-2 years we had to call them several times for problems with the unit. Recently in May 2019 one of the dampers in the master bathroom malfunctioned. They came out approximately three times before they repaired this item. Each time we 59.00 for them to come out. Recently the dampers in the office and secondary bedroom went out. They came out, another 59.00 charge. We were told the problem was the master bathroom again and that this piece that was replaced was an older item that is no longer used but now is malfunctioning. They no longer use this part any longer but used the last few to replace our damper. We were told today they would contact us about replacing this piece AGAIN but of course we have not heard from anyone. I wish we had never ever used them from the very beginning. The service sucks!!!!

They showed up on schedule and completed their inspection and work in a timely manner.

My furnace went out in winter. Their first available appointment was in five days, so I wouldn’t have heat for four nights. They rescheduled another customer (non emergency) so that they could do my install the next day.

Quick service, professional service. Technician knowledgeable and friendly, with a sense of humor. Very pleased with service and representatives.

I call Estes that morning and they were able to get someone out in just a couple of hours. The tech had to give up a 3 X 3 foot area in my yard and replace a 90 degree elbow. It took him approximately 2 hours to complete which was great.

They did a good job when they put a new unit they clean it, they informed me when they are gonna come here, very good and they have a good reputation here.

Using the power of my voice and choice to never use or promote the business of Estes Air. I understand that their are bad technicians in any bunch and may have considered giving this company another try had they done the right thing and returned the money I feel their technician stole from me but Estes Air did not value me as a customer and that's a reflection of the core of this company's integrity. I needed a diagnostics done on 2 AC units. When the technician called to come for the appt I informed him it was raining pretty bad. He said he would come anyway and see of mother nature would work in our favor. Once he arrived it was still raining and he informed me he couldnt come back later because I was his last call of the day and that his last job had been canceled because of the rain. He said he would wait 15mins for the rain to stop. After about 10 mins the rain let up to a light drizzle and he got out to take a look. One of my units is in the attic and one is the crawlspace. The technician took a panel off of each the units and said that they both needed capacitors put the panels back and charged me $144. He did not check the airflow handlers he didn't check anything. He was outside of his van 15 minutes at the most. I never received a receipt. I never received a written estimate of the diagnosis or repair cost, even though I requested and was told it would be emailed. I reached out to Estes Air to inform them that I didnt feel like i received a thorough inspection. I explained in detail what Patrick had done and that I felt like because of the rain and the laziness of the technician that I did not receive a quality inspection and would like to have another technician come out however they did not have any appointments available until Monday. I called another company Reliable Heating & Air and they sent a technician right out. The Reliable technician thoroughly checked both units. He went into the attic and crawlspace to check the units. He sat down with me and discussed what he'd found and provided me with a written estimate and receipt. I have since had both the AC's repaired and they did not need what the Estes technicians said. I would NEVER recommend Estes Air to anyone. I was robbed by their lazy and incompetent technician and upper management upheld this behavior. The integrity of this company can not be trusted and they charge more. Just call Reliable Heating & Air from the start and don't take a chance with your hard earned money. P.S I called several times to report and to request a refund and was asked to followed up with my receipt where I paid another company which I did, however I was still not granted a refund. I still have yet to receive a receipt or a report on what the technician found. They just took my money and left me with nothing. A strong armed robbery. Signed A Very Unsatisfied Customer
