Set up appointment for Saturday. Changed our whole schedule to accommodate the appointment between 9 and 11. At 10:45 they called and said the representative couldn't make it. Not that apologetic. Said they'd give us $50 off the bill if we went with them. Not sure I can waste another whole day waiting for someone so undependable and question their services.

I was dreading this job, as it required a lot of pre-work day cleaning on my part, but Empire Today made it almost pleasant! They kept in touch with me throughout the entire process, making me feel like a valued customer. On work day, they sent out a wonderful sub-contractor (I'm sorry I don't remember his name) who was professional and efficient. I expected to be knee-deep in dirt and dust from my 20+ yr old carpet, but the job was clean and quick. Many thanks to these men who gave me beautiful, seamless, clean carpeting. One month later, I'm still a very happy customer (Price was right, too). Would definitely use this company again despite their obnoxious commercial jingle!

Our salesmen, Marvin Eber, was extremely nice and walked us through the whole process before anything happened. They were able to turn around the installation very quickly and we are very happy with the results. Anything we had questions about, we called, even late into the evening. It was clear they really wanted our business and did what it took to make sure we were satisfied. We purchased a textured carpet with a linear pattern, which is newer and more unusual. When it didn't line up on the walls, they removed it, cut a new piece and put it in again within 36 hours. The wood floor is beautiful and we're very happy.

Before having saleman come to your home do home work on what stores like Home Depot or Lowes would charge - or like store (to have as a reference). 1st price quoted to me was way high - then saleman came back with what I thought was a very fair price. Installers were outstanding - came on time and called before they arrived, put down paper in walk ways to the stairs. They worked study and did top quality workmanship for at least 10 hours a day for 3 and a 1/2 days (Friday through Monday 3 to 4 installers on site over this period)were very professional and neat, at the start and end of job they help move furniture and even help put on felt footings and castors on furniture. They were best installers I have ever dealt with.

John camoe out and gave an estimate. We agreed on the price, the installers came out the next day and work was completed that afternoon. Got what I wanted and am happy. Courteous employees all around.

They were excellent. It was supposed to be a two day job, but they sent two crews out and finished the job in a day. One of them did the top floor and the other did the kitchen flooring. They were here at 9 in the morning and they did not stop until 10 that night. They did an excellent job. They did extras that were not required. I did not have any complaints at all. We have a stone fire place and they did some modifications there as well. They did a very clean job. I had to run them out at 10 in the night. They came back the next day to do some extra cleaning. They worked all day and did not take any breaks. I have never seen anybody work like that before. They had a good crew. I just can't speak enough high of their installation. They have made my 28-year-old house look brand new.

They did a good job. They were very professional and there was no pressure. The price was very competitive compared to other companies. The carpet that I had selected, and the material that they used was fairly good. They were responsive.

I liked the experience. They did what they said they were going to do in the time frame that they said they would do it in. The service and the quality of work were excellent. They put in Armstrong flooring.

Appointment was made promptly and efficiently. Representative showed up on time as promised. A neighbor had used them and was very happy. But, for us the choice of available carpets was not very broad and didn't meet our needs. The apparent quality of some of them was also a bit questionable to us, but the price seemed very good. The rep acknowledged that they didn't have what we were looking for and he did not try to pressure us to make choices we didn't want to make. In sum, I think Empire would be fine for someone who is very flexible in terms of type and color of carpet they wanted, and needs to have a quick installation turn-around at what would seem to be a very fair price.

The quote was extremely reasonable and I will be using them in August to do the job. They were extremely thorough, as it took him a while. It was probably a three hour visit, as I had him do all of the estimations right there. They even provided financing through Wells Fargo that I was approved for on the spot. They just went above and beyond.

Overall the installation was smooth. I had explained to the salesperson that I wanted something durable, that would not scratch easily. The flooring is durable, however it does scratch easily. I have been to home improvement stores and have tried just about every product that claims to protect, to remove scratches, and restore laminate flooring have yet to find a reliable product.

Local sales rep from Doraville, Ga office provided presentation and pricing. The samples related to presentation were Shaw for carpet and Armstrong for flooring. But appears a different grade upon installation as it was another manufacturer. Would not supply any small samples for matching wall color paint. With some reviewing of proposal and comparison we determined the measurements for flooring to be wrong. Adjustments were made without a person coming back out to re-measure. Had to make continuous calls to office for this issue to be referenced in paperwork and not receiving product information regarding warranty and verification of proper floor care. Deferred financing company was different than specified. Installion contractors were fine.

Everything went well and was done quickly without leaving a mess.

The salesperson was very professional when explaining types of carpets. When the carpet came in, they came to install it. The only problem I have is when I vacuum. I get a full bag of lint from it and they are coming back to check that out.

It went very well. Came on time, polite, finished in one day.

From start to finish, this company was stellar. The sales process was quick and easy. Larry came to my home, in the evening hours, and showed me the products Empire has to offer. We discussed the entire work plan and I signed the deal right there. Empire also extended me credit, with no interest or payments due until 2009. Two days later, Adam, the foreman/crew supervisor called me to assure me the crew was on their way. By 9:00 AM, the crew arrived at my home and immediately began work. The crew members were all very polite and respectful and obviously knew the craft. They finished my floors by 8:00 PM, including all the trim work. They also were sure to clean up completely, hauling away everything they had removed from the home. The price tag with Empire Today is not cheap, and I am aware of the fact that I paid a premium for the floors. However, I would do it again. The ease with which the job was handled, and the quality of the work was WELL WORTH the extra money!

They did more than I thought they would. They put teeth that match the floor, instead of the old wood I had and I knew nothing about that. They also left me a case with extra tile just in case,and I think that that was very nice of them.

Their work is good; they get things done and they work very quickly, which is important. I have had no problems with them so far. Their prices are a little bit on the high end, but I would recommend them anyways.

They did not return my calls right away, but they did call me back. They were a Spanish crew, so it was difficult to understand each other. They did an alright job and their price was pretty fair.

I thought that the sales person was a little pushy. The prices were also a bit high but they were relative to the product. They did show a small sample of the product but it was not a standard brand. However the work was done neatly.

They were great! They were always very polite, and they worked efficiently. I was unbelievably amazed at how quickly they worked, and I am so happy with the work they did. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

What I liked the most about them was that they were a very professional company and they were good at getting the job done. When I contacted them they were good at calling me back, and I was pleased with the way the carpets look.

No problem at all with the quality of the work. They stretched the carpet properly, not like other companies that leave wrinkles on the carpets. They did an awesome job. They were very responsive to my questions and very attentive to their work.

I was very pleased with the floors after it was all done. They did a great job. They were here when they said they would be and they were very nice and professional.

They have very high quality of material. They were very polite and timely. I am very happy with the work that they did it look very nice. You can not even tell it is laminate it looks so much like slate. I like the fact they do what they say they are going to, and they provide excellent service! I am pleased with me experience with Empire and the excellent service they provided me. They didn't have any problems doing the work, and were helpful when I chose what I wanted for my flooring.
