They sent me a bill that they said they sent to an email to my insurance company. They said that we owe $5,560 extra. I got a letter two days ago from a collection lawyer saying if I did not pay it they will have a lawsuit against me. I called them up and they said, yes I owed them that money. I told them this is the first time I have heard about it. I said this is the first time I have heard of this and it was from a year and a half ago and I wanted to speak to her superior and she refused. Then they sent me anoter $1600 extra bill for the lawyer. I called my insurance company and they said that company is notorious for doing that.

We contacted ES24 as soon as we realized we had some water damage due to a roof leak. The damage was from a slow leak and was very extensive. They responded quickly, sending someone to our house to find the problem and the extent of the damage within hours. Chad, was extremely professional and walked us through the entire process, including the submission of an insurance claim. They had a crew out here to dry out the house the next morning. To be fair, this was impressive, since this happened right after superstorm Sandy and half their office had been sent north to help with work up there. Given that fact, our experience may have not have been up to their normal par. Our biggest problem was that there was no consistency with the technicians they sent to our house and poor communication between the various teams they did send. They dried out the downstairs area, but they were also supposed to do some work upstairs and that didn't get done the first time, so we had to call them back out. Someone came out and metered for all the water but didn't mark the walls, so when the crew came out, they still didn't know what was supposed to be pulled out and what wasn't. They also damaged a cabinet and light fixture during the mitigation. They also left a plumbing line uncapped which leaked additional water into the downstairs. I will say that anytime we had a problem I was able to get in touch with someone and they came out and fixed it immediately. It would have been nicer if they had just had better communication to begin with, but as I said, this could have been due to folks being gone due to Sandy. They fixed the cabinet. replaced the damaged light fixture, capped the plumbing line, and in the end, they did everything they were supposed to do. They even tarped the roof for us until we could get a roofer out here to have it fixed. The price did seem like a lot to me, but at least it was fully covered by our insurance. Overall, I would probably use them again, but I hope I never have to. At least when there was a problem they always handled it well.

We really liked the work they did. A plumber recommended them. They were very good.
