D J APPLIANCE REPAIR

Job was assigned to DJ on 7-20-17, he did not come out for 5 days, at that time I was told I needed a new thermostat and fan motor. according to DJ he ordered the parts on 7/25. on 8-10 I called and asked when they would be back out and was told the parts were on backorder and that I was also "TOO FAR" for them to come out til they could work me in, DJ Finally came on out on 8-17 and he left the receipt for the parts showing they had just that day been picked up, so the backorder was a lie. He supposedly put on new parts, but upon leaving told me "not to plug the unit in for 2-3 hours", which made no sense to me, technicians normally plug in the appliance to see if it is working; but I waited 2 hours, plugged it in and,,,, nothing, it did not even come on. I called him back, no answer. I have waited and waited for him to reply about this and finally called another tech on 8-28, that tech came out this morning, one day later, and told me the part DJ put in was not only the wrong part, but it was not hooked up and it was TAPED in!! that is why the unit was not running. The tech put the part in correctly, and he plugged it up and the unit began cooking and running immediately, he charged me $80 for this repair, versus DJ was paid $125.00 by me for the service call and another $60 for parts and never got the unit running, this man is not worth your time. I have been without a refrigerator for 5 weeks, which is absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself the headache and call someone other than DJ.
