Mr. Burante came to my rental property to change out the locks so that I would use only one key instead of 4. The price was very good. He arrived early and the tenNt was still moving things out of the house. He patiently waited until the tenant moved completely out and provided the service. He is very professional and I will lock him in my cell phone for future services.

They are great. That man is very talented! He did a good job, cleans up well, and is very polite.

Fanstatic. I called him...he gave me an estimate based on what I told him...he showed up early...did the job...charged me what he estimated...and was gone. Probably didn't take more than 20-30 minutes. That's how things work when an individual is a professional and knows what he is doing.

Many of us looking for repairs are told initially, "You have to get a new one," which may or may not be the case. In this case a repair was all that was needed, and there was no hard sell. This is a great company in my experience, and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

Just called to get a quote and perhaps set up a time to install a deadbolt. The person I spoke to on the phone could not understand what I was telling him, that the frame of the door is metal and the door itself is wood-- and instead of trying to understand me, he hung up on me! Would never deal with someone who behaves this way with a potential customer--imagine what service you get after you pay.

We called D&D Locksmith based on positive Angie's List score, had trouble communicating because of cell phone problems. But when we finally connected, he rushed right over to pick up the lock manufacturer's card to order new locks and keys. He came back the next day and did the work as promised. Delightful guy as well as experienced and competent. Price was as expected for that brand of lock. We would definitely use him again.

Firemen had pried open my door during a fire in the building, so the locks on the door were pretty messed up. D&D Locksmith was the first place I called, pretty early on a Saturday morning of a holiday weekend. The gentleman who spoke to me and came out to my home was very professional and courteous. He arrived soon after and had me fixed up quickly. He could have sold me more and charged me more, but he did not take advantage. A great experience.

I called Mr. Durante in the morning and set-up an appointment for the afternoon. He showed up on-time, introduced himself, and showed I.D. The work was performed in about an hour or less and for the exact price quoted to me on the phone. He cleaned up behind himself and left me with 3 copies of the key. I definitely plan to use this company for other services.

When the ignition switch froze up, I went on the internet. Turns out this is a common problem with 2000-2003 Focuses and is caused by a defective design of their ignition switch. I tried to fix the problem myself using techniques suggested on the internet... to no effect. I called Ford, who said there was no recall on the switch, that I would have to pay a minimum of $260 to get the switch fixed, and I would have to have the car towed to the dealership to boot. My alternative was automotive locksmiths -- several people on the internet said they had found locksmiths able to fix the problem at much less expense than Ford dealerships. I looked for locksmiths in the Atlanta Yellow Pages. Hundreds of locksmiths are listed there, often with the same name but different local phone numbers. I checked out one locksmith with two full page ads in the Atlanta Yellow Pages. He rated an F on Angie's list with several stories of aggrieved home owners whom he had ripped off. I checked out the A rated locksmiths on Angie's List. Several do not work on automotive locks. Then I called D & D. Mr Durante knew exactly what the problem was when I called. He said he had replaced hundreds of Focus ignition switches and gave me a firm price ($145). I was calling late in the evening; he said he would come the next morning. Bright and early the following morning, Mr Durante was at my doorstep. The job was not simple or uncomplicated. He spent a total of three hours replacing the switch. About an hour to get the defective switch out, then another hour to replace the defective switch with a good one (a different model, without the defects of the previous switch). hen came an unexpected glitch. Durante had keyed the new switch using a spare car key; that worked fine. But when I tried my regular car key on the new switch, the car would not start. urns out my regular key had been filed down through use whereas the spare key was like new and the new switch would not work with both. To fix the problem, Durante had to remove the new switch he had just put in. Then he had to work on the spare key to make both keys work, then reset the tumblers in the new switch, then reinstall the new switch. Doing all that took an additional hour. A third key was with my wife -- Durante offered to come back and fix the problem if that key did not work with the new switch. Durante also took the time during the process to explain to me in detail the differences between the old and new switches and why with the new switch I would no longer have this problem. t the end of this whole process, I gave him a check for $145 -- the original amount agreed on over the phone at the beginning of the process.

Mr. Durante answered the phone, showed up on time for the appointment and did exactly what he said he was going to do for the price he said he was going to do it.

I dropped the mailbox off at 10:05 a.m. He said he'd strive to have it done by 2 p.m. but was unable to do so due to traffic conditions. I picked it up at 4:30 p.m.

The first time, Mr. Durante showed up ahead of schedule and moved quickly to make the necessary changes. The second time, with extremely short notice, Mr. Durante again showed up ahead of schedule, after normal business hours to accommodate my request.

Mr. Geranti is very responsible, reasonably priced. Always been able to handle emergencies on weekends and such.
