Awful company. I've actually had very nice BUT completely ineffectual customer service reps at the call center. They give the impression that they 'get it', are quite sympathetic, and seem to know who to contact about the issue and then NOTHING that was discussed gets resolved. They don't show up when they say and not only do they charge for bottles, they don't pick up empty ones. I've got 13 empty bottles in our tiny office closet and they're not picking them up after weeks of calling. They charged me for battle rental to the tune of $156 dollars. Unfortunately, they seem to be the only option. I'm hiring s teenager Togo to the local grocery to fill up bottles each week from here on out. This company is in a serious customer service crisis and don't seem to care. DONT USE DS WATERS, CRYSTAL SPRINGS.

The delivery is always good. They are quick and always call us to tell us when they will be there. The water was coming in and money was going out. I got the bill, but there was no total. Long story short I accidentally paid them $900. I called to try and get the money back and they didn't say anything about getting the money back. So now I have called multiple times and each time they tell me that they have already refunded the money or that they had to send it in individual checks. We have been waiting 3 months now for our money back and they just keep giving me the run around.

I didn't report them to Angie's List when they shorted my order and didn't report them when they crashed their truck into my tree leaving a limb hanging which they later did come out to remove. Now that they're penalizing customers who want paper invoices I have to report them. I've had paper invoices sent for over 25 years. I prefer to use the postal service, and if you use paper invoicing instead of electronic payment you will be billed an extra $2. I spoke with a manager recently and voiced to him that I've always paid in my bill toward the cost of printing the invoices, given that there was no price deduction in the water fees, why should I be billed extra for the paper invoice. His response was that they're trying to "go green" which is just a politically correct way to price gouge. He was adamant that no part of my previous bill went toward overhead including paper invoicing. They've also added to the bill for many years a "fuel charge" that varies based on the cost of gasoline at the time. Even when the gasoline prices were extremely low they still charged you. If only DS Waters had some sort of competition instead of being allowed to buy them all up we might have better service.
Description of Work: I've used Hinckley Springs (now owned by DS Waters aka Crystal Springs) over the course of 25-30 years. Currently they deliver 3 Cases of 6 1-gallon jugs of drinking water once a month.

Terrible customer service. I have requested 10 times that they deliver water to my back porch, which is where the empty bottles are placed. Every third month, they leave bottles on my front porch, which means they don't pick up the empties. I have had to call them 8 or 10 times to make the same request, and they can't get it right. And though they promise to make a separate trip to pick up the empties, they never do. The only reason I use this company is because they seem to be the only company that delivers fluoridated water. Otherwise, I would drop them in a second.
Description of Work: Provide home delivery of bottled water. Should;t be too difficult, but it apparently is.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Customer service was terrible from start to finish. I was with them for several months. Canceled service today. 1. Tried to set up online. It didn't work. I called 800 number, order was put in wrong. 2. Was told I had to be home for cooler delivery. No call ever came. Came home to cooler on porch with no instructions or support number. Called customer service that night during working hours, phone just rang. 3. Tried several times to halt delivery when we hadn't used the full order. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Sometimes ended up with no bottles, sometimes with too many. 4. Delivery was incomplete last week. Called to get the rest of the order delivered before big family gathering on weekend. Was told delivery would happen on Friday, bottle never showed. Learned this morning that driver arbitrarily decided that because he could see I had a full bottle by the door that I "didn't need the rest of my order." 5. Phone customer service agents lie. Tell you one thing, something else happens. Won't refund/credit orders not properly filled.

We use Crystal Springs currently. They charge per bottle now. I really don't like their service but I like their product. They wouldn't come when they said they would and it was frustrating. I think their getting better. I recommend the cooler to people. You don't have to rent it you just purchase it.

The price was reasonable, but the delivery was terrible. They did not deliver when scheduled, and even though I made several phone calls to complain, the delivery person never arrived. This happened several times. When they missed their fourth delivery in a row, I cancelled the service.

ot much but stress me out and waste a LOT of my valuable time!!!
Description of Work: tWhen i called about my high balance and to find out why i have no water delivery service they said someone added 10 bottles of water to my account (which i did not order) and then closed my account and now i cant get in contact with them.I waited thirty minutes on hold the first two times and gave up!! soon im calling the better business bureau!!!

I will never use them again. They are the worst delivery service ever.

WORST COMPANY EVER. SET UP ACCOUNT AND WAS SCHEDULED TO GET FIRST DELIVERY ON 12/30. Waited all day ..no show...no call. I called and and they said 12/31.....waited all day...no show no call. Numerous other calls to them and supervisors. They said delivery on 1/4 ....same...no show..no call. Same for today. I am done with them. If there was. Minus F...they should rate this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Use Zeparelis....next day service and super professional.

Whatever you do not use this company. Worst customer service, started signing up online and then I noticed a 3 week delivery date. Cancelled the account after being on the phone for 30 minutes. 3 weeks later a delivery guy shows up at my door with a cooler and 3 jugs. I tell him I cancelled. As he is walking away down the hall, he shuts the word "F@ck!". In a professional office environment. Now today, 5 days later, I am on hold again with them trying to get a $36 credit back from them, for service they never provided. I have been on hold now for 33 minutes and I am certain longer. I did speak with someone at 26 minutes and in 2 minutes told them my story. Now I am back on hold, they haven't even cancelled my account. worst service stay away!!!

I used them for years but little by little the company was bought out by bigger and bigger water companies until DS Waters bought Crystal Springs. I couldn't get a human on the phone, the website was not working, or you were told to call when you reached someone on the website and wait times on Hold were ridiculous. I switched to Culligan and it was great until they bought Culligan locally and now I can't get them to pick up my empty bottles!!!! I've called and called. Their staff on the phone are totally incompetent and the local driver is one angry dude and I hate this company so much at the moment. I've had four empty bottles sitting on my porch for over a week and they keep promising to pick them up. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. The filtered water in my fridge tastes pretty darn good right now. THEY ARE AWFUL. if you call and cancel service as you will be out of the country or on vacation they still deliver water. They don't pay any attention IF you can get a human on the phone. They are on of the very worst companies I've ever dealt with in my entire adult life. Horrible. They don't care about you at all. Trust me on this. I had a driver call me and ask why I was leaving and he promised me that if I had any issues he would handle it. For the last two weeks he's been promising me that someone would pick up my empty bottles. The company owes me for the four on my porch and the two I returned in October and I am so angry at this point you wouldn't believe it. The people on the phone - if you can ever get one - are morons. Stupid and they don't listen and they don't do anything when you change your delivery. They are totally awful. NEVER EVER HIRE THEM. THEY ARE THE WORST. I'M NOT A CRAZY PERSON. THEY DON'T GIVE A YOU KNOW WHAT ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get your water somewhere else but not from these people.

I had a horrible experience with them. Their price is average. I sent out for a water delivery plan and they showed up the first two times. After that, they never showed. I went on their website because I wanted to change from a biweekly to monthly plan. I called their service and they said they would send someone out on Monday. Nobody showed up. I went back to their website and they said they were going to send somebody on Tuesday. Still, nobody showed up. On their website, they had changed it to Wednesday again but still, nobody showed up. I called them to cancel their service and they put me to another level of customer service. They put me on hold for an hour and a half just to cancel everything. They said they would be putting me through to the regional manager but nobody called me back. In the end, they said I wasn't a paying customer so it didn't matter.

Crystal springs did nothing but apologize. I cancelled my service in July 2015 and the rep was aware of it but yet they tried to deliver water which I refused. I still had full bottles that I had not used. Now they have charging for monthly deliveries 3 bottles but no product has been delivered to my residence.
Description of Work: I tried calling numerous times, on hold forever. I finally sent an e mail and shortly after cancelled my service. I signed for for monthly water delivery at Costco, Crystal Springs Water was running a demo. I work at this Costco, the rep for Crystal misinformed me about an energy fee additional to the water fee. I was told it was a one time charge but then I was charged this fee every delivery. I tried calling the rep who never would return my calls. I had to contact them for delivery since they never contacted me at a promised time. They finally delivered 3 bottles and a few days later delivered 3 more. Just before I cancelled I had 7 full 5 gallons of water sitting in my kitchen. Again I tried to contact them by phone but after 15 minutes on hold waitin for a rep, I finally emailed them. Take my advice stay away from this company. I'm also going to lodge a complaint with Costco and the BBB.

The worst customer service, the worst website, the worst delivery service, and the longest time on hold trying to get what we paid for--second only to Comcast. The worst part of all is that the water is delicious. However, the service issues alone are forcing us to cancel. After four straight months of this, our patience is gone.

-I CALLED THE COMPANY THREE TIMES ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY TO ASK THAT THE DELIVERY PERSON PICK UP THE PRODUCT LEFT AND REPLACE IT WITH THE RIGHT PRODUCT REQUESTED. THE FIRST CUSTOMER SERVICE REP PUT ME ON HOLD CALLED THE DELIVERY PERSON, NO ANSWER, LEFT A MESSGE TO CALL ME. AFTER I HUNG UP FROM THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE REP, I DID RECEIVE A PHONE CALL BUT COULDN'T HEAR THE OTHER PERSON TOO WELL SO I HUNG UP AND CALL RIGHT BACK, PERSON DID NOT ANSWER, I LEFT A MESSAGE ABOUT RETURNING TO MY HOME TO DELIVER THE RIGHT PRODUCT. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE TWO MORE TIMES AS THE ORDER WAS NOT CORRECTED NOR WAS THE WRONG PRODUCT PICKED-UP. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLED THE DRIVER AGAIN, GOT NO ANSWER, LEFT MESSEAGES PLUS TEXED THE DELIVERY PERSON AND NO RESPONSE WAS EVER RECEIVED. TO DAY, 10/21/15, I STARTED CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT, I AM ON HOLD FOR ALMOST ONE HOUR AND STILL NO ONE HAS PICKED-UP TO HELP ME.

There is a company called Crystal Springs. They are horrible. I put in an order for three bottles and they sent me 5. I was suppose to give me two bottles and paying for three. They just kept dropping off bottles.

I get robo calls every 2 weeks the day before service, yet I continually find that the empty bottles have not been picked up and often deliveries are late by 1-2 weeks or just not at all. Driver is supposed to call prior to deliveries, I have yet to receive one call. I was told by representative that delivery days are just an approximate depending on work load. I pay extra to receive spring water and have found a mix of spring and purified water bottles. recently found extra 4 bottles had been delivered (for a total of 7 bottles of purified instead of the spring I pay for) and charged to my account while I was on vacation. I was told an order was put in but no record of who or when. I did not place any order. I have been calling to try and get this fixed for the past 2 weeks and this week Called every day for 3 days so far, and each time told the extra bottles would be picked up the following day.
Description of Work: excessive hold times (30-45 minutes), had one representative that was very condescending and rude, my auto pay was mysteriously canceled and then I was billed for late fees. They did remove the late fees but unable to find out who canceled the auto pay. deliveries were routinely late/missed. Delivery issues not rectified.

I had enrolled online, but dealing with Crystal Springs was too much of a hassle that I canceled my service before they even delivered the water dispenser and accompanying jugs. Extreme wait times: getting through to Customer Service can take over 20 minutes and they are not empowered to do much in terms of managing water delivery. Tried contacting them several times to just begin service as a new customer. Delivery Mismanagement: The initial date I selected for delivery was changed to 10 days later. Then that water delivery date was rescheduled with no notification to customer, left waiting at home for a delivery that never came. Unresponsive: I have emailed customer service on the time of delivery and have never received a response. Customer Service tried contacting the driver, their supervisor and the regional manager for delivery information with no response from any of them. After reading the reviews on Angie's List I anticipated that service would not get better so contacted Crystal Springs to cancel service and delivery, I had to wait 30 minutes this time.

This company, from the customer service to the sales delivery guy is the worst I have ever encountered. They NEVER deliver water on time!! Some deliveries were several days to over a week late. Only after I called and complained, did they deliver the water a few days after. When they miss a delivery, they do not call or contact to let you know. Each time I called customer service, I was on hold for a MINIMUM OF 30 minutes. In some instances I waited nearly an hour. After several complaints and even talking to a customer service supervisor, all they could do is apologize... I will do everything I can to get water from a company other than CRYSTAL SPRINGS!
Description of Work: I live in the Columbus Ohio area and prefer to have my jug bottled water delivered to my house. We rely on this water to make bottles for our infant son.

Wow is this a bad company top to bottom! In the last 3 billing cycles they have missed 3 requested extra deliveries. I spent no less that 2 hours on hold trying to reach a real person. They have not credited our company with 12 returned bottles. To add insult to injury I cancelled the service on August 25th. the driver showed up and I refused delivery. They sent a bill for 4 bottles never received. I have talked with customer service 3 times without resolution. I requested an email of our conversation be sent. As of this date none has been received. They at first tried to tell me that it is against company policy to put anything in writing. Hmmm I wonder why! Two of the people I spoke with were supervisors on 2 different occasions, Kyle and Alex. Both of them promised an email detailing my concerns and the resolution to them. As the email has not been received I believe they LIED in an attempt to deceive me. Their reps have a habit of talking over you. Their computer system appears easy to use but creates no response. Their email system provides an auto response but no action. In my estimation they are liers and cheats. This company has no clue. I will never return or recommend Crystal Springs. The only recommendation I will make is to stay away. I have found a local water service and now much happier.

Terrible service, in the last two scheduled deliveries, no one has picked up the empties. Why? Because they cannot knock on the door and receive them. They'd rather do a drive by and not interact with the customer. As for their customer service department? How are they? I either get busy signals or no answer. I'm really tired of this terrible service.

Do not use this company! Everything started out fine. But I had started with 5 bottles per month. It turned out to be too much so we wanted to go to 4. I told the driver but everytime I called the company I got a busy signal. So I tried to email and never got a response. I continued to be billed for the 5 bottles. Then our cooler broke. Again, I could not get anyone on the phone so I sent an email. After about a week I got an email saying to contact them to arrange changing out the cooler. Not surprisingly I could not get through on the phone then one morning someone just showed up around 8:00 a.m. while I was still in pajamas with a screaming infant. Glad to get the cooler replaced but it was not convenient. Then deliveries just stopped. I would get a call as a reminder that my delivery was the next day but then no one would show up. We've now gone without water (that I was billed for) for 2 weeks. I finally got someone on the phone after 40 minutes to cancel service. The customer service is horrible!!!!

I was told a supervisor would call me within 24 hours but that never happened, I'm switching to another service.
Description of Work: Failed to respond when I complained about delivery driver short-counting my empty-bottle return, costing me $14 for the third time. Their scheduled delivery date is missed 20% to 25% of the time.

Water delivery is pretty regular. No complaints there, however, we did not ask for any additional bottles of water, but they gave them to us anyway and have been charging us $40 instead of the original $23. We moved recently and tried to call to have our address switched and couldn't get anyone on the phone. We finally sent them an email and they sent a response back that our address had been changed. I have since tried to call them about the extra charges on our bill but the phone would ring once and then go to a busy signal. Then I tried to call this weekend and of course they aren't busy. I am trying to cancel my service now and cannot get in touch with the customer service department. I tried to write them an email asking them to cancel, but it says right on the website that you cannot cancel through email. I have delayed my delivery and I emailed them to contact me. Hopefully that works. Now I have to find a reliable company.
