Billy Mayville of Cool Air Mechanical installed a new hot water heater in my home. Billy did an excellent job removing the old heater and installing the new one. He is so nice, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciate his sincere concern and expertise and I highly recommend Cool Air Mechanical to anyone who needs plumbing and/or electrical work. Also, Liz in the business office is great. She is a pleasure to speak with when I call for plumbing or electrical needs. Liz is so friendly and always gets my plumbing and/or electrical needs handled immediately.

Easy, quick, HVAC replacement! A great overall experience starting with the sales manager, Daniel. The two technicians (Vernon and Jon) who installed my system were fantastic! They were professional, polite, and made sure all my questions were answered. And they left my place probably cleaner than before they started! I would definitely use Cool Air again, and I also highly recommend them.

I've been using them for five years now. They offer an annual package where we get two preventive maintenance in a year. Their price is reasonable. They're excellent. Their quality has been consistent.

The installers (Matt M and Doug S) arrived on time and introduced themselves when I answered the door. Everything they were going to do was explained to me before they started. I explained where I wanted the unit and they were able to make it work. Once they figured out what they needed to do in order to accommodate me, everything was explained to me again before the work was started. Upon completion of the project I looked everything over and they explained how they installed the unit. They then went over how to use the remote control and how the unit works. I was very pleased with the workmanship and the professionalism of the two employees of Cool Air and would recommend the company to family and friends.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! We needed to get a whole new HVAC system for our entire house last month and started to do the research to find the best deals and customer service. Boy, did we find one! We got bids from three very reputable companies and Cool Air Mechanical through Costco price couldn't be beat! With the 15% Costco cash back plus the reward credit from using our Costco credit card, we saved a bundle of money and other companies couldn't come close to the price! We passed the deadline online for the 15% cash back with Costco but Cool Air was able to apply it. But more importantly, the product and service we received was AMAZING. First, Ken, our sales person, was FANTASTIC! He met with my husband on a weekend when it was convenient for my husband's schedule and went over all the options. He included a free duct cleaning and I was able to switch to the Ecobee3 smart thermostat system without additional charge. This is by far the best thermostat I have ever used and given its additional home sensors and integrating it with IFTTT app on our smart phones, it saves us money by turning the system to away mode when we leave the house automatically. When I had concerns of some things, Ken not only communicated with me over the phone and email, but also made a separate trip out to see me to clarify and addressed my concerns. Not only that, when I told him that my daughter's room at the end of the house didn't get good heating/cooling (which my husband forgot to tell him during his visit), he said that they would put a direct line rather than keeping the existing split line from the HVAC unit. The crew who came out to install the new system and also the person to clean the ducts (which we got for free while other companies were charging around $700) were AMAZING!!! They called before they came out as we asked, were on time, and seemed to know exactly what they were doing. In other words, they were professionals. Also, their office staff made sure that they got the paper work in on time for us to get the full Costco credit (Costco was having an additional 5% cash back, and we signed at the tail end of the promotion, so timing for submission to Costco was crucial). With the current cold weather, we are so glad we got the system updated! I already see changes in how often the heating system turns on and it is very quiet. The Ecobee3 IQ Report shows that our home is more efficient as well. We have been very impressed with Cool Air and look forward to wonderful future warranty period with them over the next decade and beyond! THANKS COOL AIR MECHANICAL!!!!

It was a two day install. The two technicians Elio and Jean were super professional, friendly, and helpful. Everything they did they took the time to install it properly. They weren't rushed to move on to the next job. They took the time to explain everything they were doing and why. Based off of the work ethic of Elio and Jean, the honesty of the sales person Ken, I highly recommend to Cool Air Mechanical to anyone with HVAC needs. Zein

Michael Suter found no issues. Serviced heating systems and replated filtres. Thorough maintenance service performed. Arrived within time window, was polite and professional.

Nima was our service technician and he came out to do our annual maintenance on our new system. While he was out he addressed some noise coming from the system and adjusted many of our vents to cut down on the vibration coming from the air hitting the vent gate. Overall Nima was very professional and knowledgable when we would ask questions about what he was doing to address the issues. We would definitely recommend Nima and Cool Air for your HVAC needs

Our air conditioning unit recently failed and we needed to replace it. Moises and Berny, the company representatives/technicians, installed not only the new unit but also additional duct work and a new return. They arrived on schedule, were very pleasant and professional and worked diligently thought the day. They completed the entire installation the same day. They explained in detail the operation of the new thermostat and replacement of filters. They were meticulous about their work and when they completed everything, they made sure we were happy with everything. When they left, they made sure to leave our home in pristine condition. Fabulous customer service!

It went very well. Michael Suter was a very sharp man and did a fine job. We are quite pleased.

Cool Air Mechanical ([*** Link removed ***] located at 1950 Guffin Lane Marietta, GA. deserves worse than a half star rating. The experience I have had with the company has lead me to believe they are participating in deceptive business practices. ? On May 18, 2016, Travis, a Field Supervisor, (which I have later learned his name) serviced my A/C unit under a preventative maintenance agreement. The agreement states ?The program establishes inspection criteria for the complete analysis and performance check of the system at all points that would normally wear and tear due to age and operation. Our goal is to provide a protection against major breakdowns by the recommendation of replacing common wear parts and thus eliminating unexpected loss.? ? In late August, barely 90 days after the complete analysis and performance check, the condensation line clogged and leaked into the condo below mine. The leak caused water damage to the unit. ? On September 2, 2016, Travis stated to me that in May he witnessed construction going on in my condo resulting in the ducts needing to be cleaned. In addition he sent me a text with a picture of the duct return. Within the text string, I asked had the duct been cleaned. He responded the return needed to be vacuumed. Cool Air broke the contract in May by not communicating to me the conditions that were present resulting in the clog of the condensation line. They again broke the contract on September 2 when I had to ask for the picture and the status of the cleaning. ? On September 2, 2016, I contacted Alyson, Manager, to discuss my frustration with the breach of contract. She stated to me that more communication should have happened. ? On September 6, 2016, Alyson offered a free duct cleaning service which I accepted. In addition I stated I was not accepting the duct cleaning service as resolution to the breach of contract or the damage to the water damage to the condo below mine. ? On September 12, 2016, the duct cleaning was performed. The duct cleaning serviceman communicated to my renter the coil was dripping on the filter. ? On September 13, 2016, I contacted Alyson to ask her why I was receiving this information from my renter and not from them. In addition, Alyson communicated to me that she discussed with Travis and he stated he did not witness any issue with the coil. ? On September 13, 2016, Mike, a HVAC technician, went to the condo to inspect the coil leak and confirmed there was a coil leak. Mike called me and informed me of the coil leak and the need for the blower motor to be cleaned. We discussed extensively the exact steps that would be taken to clean the coil. Mike was to remove the coil, wash it and reinstall it. He stated he would need to come back due to the time it would take. ? On September 19, 2016, Mike returned to the condo to take care of the coil leak and the blower motor. Mike decided to scrub the coil with a brush instead removing and washing the coil as agreed upon. This was not discussed with me. When he scrubbed the coil, the aluminum came off and ruined the coil. Mike called to discuss the problem with me and stated that Travis had told him that Travis had witnessed a problem with the coil in May. However on September 13, 2016, it was communicated to me via Alyson that Travis did not witness a problem with the coil. Mike then communicated to me it would cost be $2,000 to replace the coil. ? On September 19, 2016, I called Alyson to discuss the problem. On this call, Alyson stated, ?Oh boy, what do we need to do?? I stated they needed to pay to replace the coil, pay for the water damage in the condo below me and pay for the plumber to cut into the condo?s ceiling below me to determine the cause of the leak. Alyson said she would discuss with upper management and get back to me. ? Since then Alyson and I have had two conversations. The first conversation she communicated to me that the only thing the company is willing to do is to pay for the labor to install a new coil. This is approximately $800. The company refused to pay for the water damage or the exploration by the plumber to determine the cause of the leak. I told her this was unacceptable. The second conversation was almost exactly the same as the first. All of this experience has lead me to believe, Cool Air Mechanical is participating in deceptive business practices. They are unethical. They change their story. They have breached their contract with me yet I am expected to pay for their poor service and questionable choices. I still do not know if the blower motor was cleaned. I recommend staying away from Cool Air Mechanical.

Their price could always be better. Their responsiveness is very good. They give you a range. They tell you that they would be there between noon and 2, but they always call ahead to let you know they are on their way. So, they are very good.

I have two units, one in the attic and one in the basement and they come in twice a year and service both. Essentially for a dual system, they charge me about $300 a year. They are very good. I already told friends about them. They are very professional, always courteous, and they do not over sell. They just do a good job.

Excellent. Arthur Scott worked to provide the most cost-effective solution via our Costco membership, and Doug S. and Matt M. were the installers. They arrived promptly, placed the needed floor protectors, and worked diligently and professionally until the installation was complete. Afterwards, they cleaned up the area completely. We are very pleased with the result.

Mike was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He was punctual and efficient and make some appropriate recommendations.

Jerry Cobb with Cool Air was the technician who performed warranty service on my AC today. Jerry was not only competent but so personable. He spent the extra time answering my questions and explained "in layman's terms" what was wrong with the AC. I have a service contract with Cool Air and have had only great experiences with their technicians. I would highly recommend them. Jerry was exceptional!!!!

Nima came out first to diagnose a problem with the zone control board after a lightning strike hear the house. Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He found the issue, determined a new board was needed, ordered the board, and rewired controls to bypass the damaged board, so some air conditioning function was possible until the new board part arrived (important as weather was very warm). Nima returned with the new board, installed it and cleaned up wiring in general, and checked duct damper actuators. He checked that cooling was performing properly, going to every vent in the house that was affected. He then saw that the control board of the furnace was returning an error and that the variable speed fan blower was not changing speeds as it should. The control zone board replacement was needed first in order to show the malfunctions in the furnace controls and blower. He quoted replacement of the control board and the fan as individual parts replacements, but because of the manufacturer's pricing of these parts, the total cost of the two parts were the same as a complete furnace unit (with control board and blower). He gave two manufacturers to choose from and we ordered one of them. Both times that Nima came out, he worked diligently even through the 100 degree plus environment in the attic and cleaned up the work area after, leaving no parts or packaging. Within a couple of days, the new furnace was available for installation and the installer crew of Vernon and Mike came out. Both were friendly, courteous, also diligent workers in high temperature conditions. They installed the furnace efficiently and neatly, cleaned up after the job, and talked me through the warranty and left the proper paperwork. The entire experience was very good and I would recommend Cool Air highly on the basis of these techs and their work.
