Very well!Having researched the Lennox brand signature series Heat pump system XP25 and then having it installed is liken to studying for that final exam and then acing it. I researched the efficiency, the Energy Star rating and the ranking of heat pump systems. When I typed “best heat pump system” in the search bar during my online research, the top ten and even the top five heat pump systems always reflected at least two of the Lennox series XP heat pump systems. I went with the XP25 over the XP21 simply because I was selecting a unit for my home and my family and I wanted the most efficient. I wanted the best. In test after test and comparison after comparison, the XP25 always garnered nine out of ten times the number #1 place at the top. The Lennox XP25 was always found on the list of results for the best system. It was consistently rated as the most efficient system on SEERS/HSPF ratings. As for practical operations, it’s among the quietest; so much so that to confirm it is running, we have to check the air flow from the vents. We paired it with the iComfort S30 Smart Thermostat, which by the way is what we call our “window view in the hallway”, as the thermostat when in screensaver weather mode presents a picture of the weather conditions outside. It looks like a live picture. During the day you may see blue skies with clouds or rain falling in puddles on the ground; depending on the current weather conditions. Yes, when we want to impress visitors, we show them the thermostat and all who have seen it, have been amazed. It is truly like a window in our hallway. Given this is the most advance smart thermostat we know of, there are a variety of functions that can be performed such as linking it to your smart phone for operation of the house unit from wherever you are, either outside or from out of town. The company can also perform system diagnoses remotely, via the internet or phone and this saves time because a repairman can come whenever the system indicates. I am so pleased with all the things this unit can do with the smart thermostat that it is too much to mention here. I’m impressed, amazed and feeling very accomplished having had this unit installed. And should the time come, this unit can also adaptable of solar applications and equipment should I be so incline to expand. The look, the efficiency, the warranty all ensure that this was money very well spent. It is great to spend money and actually feel like you have gotten your money’s worth and more. This is where I am. You can’t beat this system. I feel that it is among the best if not the best heat pump systems on the market. We are quite happy with our Lennox XP25 and our window view in the hallway.

Wonderful job! The salesman was excellent and noted things that needed to happen, as we were updating a very old system. During installation, they found a few extra things that needed to be done and they just took care of it.

Daniel gave an informative, honest and straight forward sales presentation on heating and air systems, then Moises and Berny did a great job installing the system and explaining what they did and how everything worked. It took less than a day, cleanly done, hauled away all the old parts. Would recommend to anyone.

They come out every six months. They are great. Their price is reasonable.

Ken arrived on time to give us the quote and was pleasant and knowledgeable. We had another company come out to give us a quote and ended up choosing Cool Air because of Ken's presentation and their prices compared to the other company. He gave us a military discount by providing free air duct cleaning for both units, which we appreciated, and they also provide convenient financing through an outside lender. They have appointments on Saturdays which was a plus because I prefer my husband to be home when our house is being serviced. They sent out two crews which cut the work time in half and the guys were great. Elio, Jean P, Jorge, and Cody made sure to put runners down so that our floors and carpets didn't get dirty and damaged, they were clean and well kept, and were very respectful. Everyone that I spoke to at their office has been pleasant and helpful and the guy who came out to do our air duct cleaning was also great. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Cool Air Mechanical and would definitely recommend them to others. In fact, we plan on continuing our relationship with them through their maintenance program.

It is now two weeks since Cool Air Mechanical installed new air conditioning in my house after the old R22 Freon compressor died. Just 18 months earlier the furnace had died and they came out and installed a 17.5 inch Lennox Elite furnace. We did not buy an air conditioning system at that time because the one we had was working great. But now the search for a new Air Conditioning system. 1. First off, my house had hot spots (A. Master bedroom with a 15 foot plus headboard wall which greeted the early morning July and August sun), (B. A Bonus room over the garage which was in the sun all day). To help the bonus room out, there was a window AC placed in the window which took away from the look of the house (and not allowed in most subdivisions in Atlanta). 2. This makes the second time that our HVAC system had gone out in less than 24 months and we were either freezing in 25 degrees weather or sweating in 90 plus heat. BIDS: Every other AC company that came out and looked at the failed system, and commented on the great work that was done on the furnace/air handler installation 18 months ago. DECISION: So I decided I wanted a dual 12000 BTU head Mini split heat pump installed along with the new whole house R410 air compressor and A coil. This would give us a backup just in case the whole house main system died again, we could just move to the part of the house with the mini splits systems until the whole system was repaired. Also, the mini split system would have built in thermostats in each head unit and would cool the rooms further if the main whole house system had cooled enough for the main house and shut off. PROBLEM: My bedroom and the bonus room both had Cathedral type ceilings (slanted). My wife did not want the head units hanging on the walls. Our salesman Jon says that the in ceiling head units had to be flat and level, so that meant no in ceiling installation of the mini-split head units. SOLUTION: A.) Buy a $500 service contract that would cover the whole system for six years with a 3-hour response time if called in before 5:00 pm. That would take care of our down time. B.) Zoning with a bypass installation. They would check out and redo the duct work to the zoned rooms, install zoning system and put thermostats in the bonus and master bedroom. That way each zone could call the air compressor when needed and any extra air from the AC handler would be recycled back in. (NO HANGING WALL HEADS Wife Happy). INSTALLATION: The day of installation, Victor and Maverick worked the entire day on the removing old duct work and installing new electric dampened duct work, Zoning Board, Air Compressor, Circuit Breaker, Thermostats and Thermostat wiring to all zones. The Lennox Elite 3.5 ton Air Compressor which I order was not in stock so they upgraded me to an Elite 4 ton 16 SEER at no extra cost. The zoning panel was from Honeywell and they used Honeywell 9000 WIFI thermostats which turned out to be more accurate than my First Alert WIFI thermostat in controlling room temperatures (feels a lot better). They were able to place the new thermostats where I wanted them on the wall. It was a cool day (high of 75) when they did the install, so we really could not test the system fully. A couple of days later it was hot and the bonus room had an issue where the AC would not shut off (FREEZING BONUS ROOM). I called in that evening and the next day they were there. It appears that the wall where the thermostat was installed insulation had fallen down and the heat from the attic was right on the back of the thermostat. They caulked all holes and replaced the insulation and everything works great now. With the Costco rebates they were better priced than others and we had more warranty coverage.

John called ahead to let me know he could come by early to take a look at my HVAC. We tried to recreate the sound I was hearing but were unable to recreate the exact situation. He inspected different aspects of the hvac to ensure it was operating correctly. He answered my questions about whether it was safe to operate on his findings. John was very thorough and very courteous. The service and care I receive from Cool Air Mechanical is why i chose them. I can feel at ease knowing I can call them and they will have someone out. Even if it's to chase phantom sounds.

My 16 year old HVAC system had not been maintained for the last four years. Tuesday afternoon it began to make an odd and loud noise. After a couple hours of searching on the internet I found amazing reviews for Cool Air Mechanical. It was hard to believe at first, so I had to check as many sites as I could. I decided it couldn't hurt to call a tech to come out and look. I called and on Wednesday morning Jerry was at home as promised. Jerry Cobb was very personable and took time to go over what he found with my hvac. I didn't feel pressured to buy a new unit. It seemed like the logical thing to do in the long run, after hearing several options available to me. Jerry immediately got Ken Langdon over to my home about an hour later. Ken and I discussed issues with my home cooling and what I was wanting and where I was with my budget. After hearing about their guarantees and warranties I knew I could have peace of mind. I especially like that the final price quoted is exactly that, the final price. Well (today) Thursday, the crew was out here at 900AM to begin work. Danny and Andre worked tirelessly in the heat to get the job done and completed with quality. There were some unexpected issues that arose in my home due to an old system and a previously bad installation, however they took the time to get everything set up as it should. I am extremely pleased with the service alone that I have received from the company and so far my new Lennox. Its so quiet!

We contacted Cool Air Mechanical through Costco. They were on time for our meeting to check the current installation, the estimate was clear and they were easy to work with to set the date for the installation; they offered us a very attractive financing option and a cash back option from Costco. During the installation they did a good job setting everything up and making sure it worked. They were polite at all times and finish the job in the estimated time and left nothing behind. Overall it was a good experience, we also payed them for the semestral maintenance. We will see how that works.
