It is $170. The price is probably the worst thing, I would say C. Not having any competition makes it hard to compare. I like to have all the channels that I have when I want to use them but when you watch maybe a couple of hours of television a day and maybe 8 or so hours over the 2 days of the weekend...when you figure out cost per hour, its really expensive. I have not needed any service. They were punctual when they did the initial installation. The cable is fine but the internet seems to be slow.

I use Comcast reluctantly. I hate them with passion. If I can get another company out here, I'd drop them like hotcakes if I could. It's really not necessarily because of the quality of the product, it's more so the customer service. I have to haggle with them every time. They need to improve their customer service especially the physical service centers that you go into. The overall customer service with them is a joke.

I've been thinking about doing away the landline altogether. I don't know the pro's or con's with that. My neighbors did away with their landline. They sent a guy out who couldn't get it fixed. I never get to talk to the same person. I told them disconnect everything and leave. I don't think they are customer orientated. Since I don't need a landline, I'd just like to get out of it. I do need the internet. The price is alright now, but if I stop the phone they will raise the price. I'm either going to keep it as it is or find somebody that will give me a landline that is cheaper and let me keep my internet.

Dealing with Comcast was a terrible experience and we got rid of them after 6 months. It started with installation charges over 3 times higher than I was quoted and the Internet kept going down. When I called to disconnect, they kept billing me, even after I returned the equipment. Customer service reps were rude and dishonest. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was promised a call back. Instead I was contacted by a collection agency. This is the worst service I've ever experienced! The only thing worse than their service is their customer service.

My bill should have been $140.00, but my first bill was $258.00. The second bill was never received in the mail and was $195. They also charged for equipment installation. They initially installed the cheapest cable package, but I had paid for an upgrade, and they charged another $60 to come back to fix it. Everything works fine now, but I’m not sure what I paid for. I’m going to see how the price plays out before I consider using them again.

We have had repeated problems with billing. They give us a rate, and then the next bill comes and it is completely wrong (and MUCH higher). We have been dealing with this for about 5 monthly bill cycles now. They even gave us a free box for the trouble. Then started billing us $20 for it each month! They couldn't ever get the billing free, so we finally just returned it to stop having to deal with it. They charged us a return fee. Seriously. We are switching to AT&T U-Verse. Hopefully they can do things right.

The experience has been about medium. We haven't checked around for pricing so we don't know if they are competitive. We've had some problems but nothing that much.

The cable includes every channel they have. I have 2 XVRs at their new system. I have 2 of the permanent which would give me access to the standard channels but I'm not high definition. The DVRs give high definition to both sets they have been attached to. The XVR gives you the ability to record more shows that you could ever watch at the same time. It's a bundle and that price includes a discount but I'm sure it's not a permanent discount and when it runs out, we'll have to renegotiate. The internet is just amazing. Back in the old days, I was teaching online and so I was using my computer almost all the time so that I could be responsive to my students. I needed to have a fast line and Bellsouth could not give me a fast line where I live. I called them and they said that's the maximum speed they have for where we are so I had to move to Comcast to get a better speed. Lately, they just quadrupled their speed. Once you've used it, you don't want to use anything else. For their punctuality, they are right on time.

We have used everybody else before and then finally settled on Comcast. I like that I actually have service. The internet speed is not shattering fast, but it is OK. I find them a little bit expensive. The bundle cost us much more. We had the internet and the phone, and everything bundled with them.

I have a pretty large cable package with them. The internet is fast. In the area where I live, other than satellite, they are the only option. The line was fine. It never goes out. They are pretty good. Their customer service is pretty good about getting back to you. They're all overpriced. The picture is good. The signal is good. The internet is fast so no problem. Their responsiveness is slow sometimes. Their people are very good and they seem to be local. I'll continue to use them.

So far, they're doing a good job. We get HBO movies and Show Time movies as well. Initially, the people who came out were very nice. The first guy they sent out, he didn't know how to setup the type of TV that we purchased. It's one of where we get the Netflix. The internet works for the TV. They had to send out another guy. Their representatives were very professional and very helpful. They're very good. I can see why they're rated number one. The internet service is pretty fast. There was never a problem. The price is competitive. Their quality is good. They're excellent with responsiveness. I had to call them a couple of times. I would continue to use them in the future.
Description of Work: We use Comcast in our house for high speed internet services and two hundred channels of cable TV. We also used their services at the store.

The internet service is pretty fast. The package is expensive, but it is good. We have regular features with the landline service. We used to have the similar package from another provider and the signals used to drop pretty regularly. They have always been on time when we told them.

It went out a lot. If you try to call customer service, it will get you a good 45 minutes to wait on queue before you get to somebody. And their customer service people are rude, they have a bad attitude and they are not helpful. Unfortunately we had to call them often because their internet is bad.

They are bad. They are horrible. The equipment is great but the customer service is terrible. When I call they say they will call in an hour and do not call me back. They do not repair what they say. They do not follow up. They have recorded customer satisfaction survey that they encourage me take but the questions that they have usually have nothing to do with any kind of service problem that I had. It takes forever to get an appointment. I will not use them and I will change to somebody else as soon as I can find somebody who does all this.

Horrible experience. I would not recommend this company to no one, including grandma.
Description of Work: Comcast have deceptive marketing and performed a bait-and-switch on us. We obtained Comcast's 'blast plus' for $59.99 per month. We received the 6 months promotional offer for $39.99 per month, then our bill increase to $59.99 per month - like we expected. Then in the month of December 2012, we noticed Comcast attempted to charge us extra fees as a result of 2 mini converter boxes they gave us for free (they claimed the boxes were free). As a result of these extra fees, we returned the converter boxes. In March 2013, Comcast increased our basic cable bill to $84 dollars per month. Comcast now claims the $59.99 monthly bill was a 12 month promotional offer. Not true. Comcast never stated this information over the phone to us nor in writing. We made attempts to have Comcast honor their agreement of $59.99 per month, but Comcast refuses to stand by their agreement. It's the old bait-and-switch. Do not choose Comcast if you have other options... COMCAST is a crook....

I love Comcast but I am not pleased with their service. The internet service is less in stellar or out of the ordinary. The costs I think are extreme I mean it’s pretty hard for monthly service fees. I got some satellite units for my other two televisions and basically waiting in line for connection probably an hour now so I got the attention of the customer service and I talk to them about that.

We had Comcast several years ago and dropped them for another provider. In September, 2012, a sales rep came by and asked us to give Comcast another try along with nice price incentives. We gave it a shot - big mistake. The installer did not complete the job and did not return the next day when he said he would, the promised pricing was not honored, the items we ordered were not all submitted to the company (the order sheet was a scribbled mess), and calling for help was a frustrating mess. The sales rep had told me Comcast had troubles in the past and its reputation was poor as a result. He led me to believe the issues were resolved and our experience would be much better. It was, in fact, worse. After two strikes, I will never use Comcast again.
