City Boys fixed the issues on the 2nd. My issues were that first, he's not professional. Very impatient and quick to interrupt questions or clarifications of what I'm hearing. He also told me that he couldn't help to determine or wait for me to get online or call the manufacture to determine how old the machine was in assessing the worth of fixing the machine or buying a new one (a task that I was able to do in 3 minutes while his team went to the truck). After the fixes were made, the dryer would no longer finish the cycle and will run all night now (similar to the washer's issue). This was not occurring before and is either a new issue or an issue caused by his labor. My suspicion is that it is his labor. When my girlfriend called to talk to him about this, he was rude and unprofessional and told her that he couldn't talk to her since he did the work with me, even though she lives here and had the invoice with her. He called me (I was out of the country) and left a message informing me that the problems were mine and that he'd come out to fix them if I wanted him to. I called him the next day when I returned and explained the issue. He proceeded to communicate that it wasn't his issue and that he fixed what I asked him to. I communicated that fixing what I asked while causing another problem results in this being an issue he needs to resolve. He interrupted me, went on a rant about his experience, the discount he gave me, and then hung up the phone. I called back thinking it was a mistake and before I could address my concerns again - he said he didn't have time to deal with anything other than me using him to fix the problem and pay for it. Bottom line, it's the most unprofessional encounter I've ever had with a repair person. I still am unsure what set him off, but after reading Yelp reviews and other reviews online about him - this is par for the course. I'm planning to have another repair person look at the work done and if we determine that it's his work that caused this then I'll be talking to the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint. Overall, a decent repair experience is made into a F due to this person's professionalism and inability to listen and serve his customers. No one should use his services as he is not customer friendly OR as I see it right now - very good at his job. I can deal with attitude and lack of customer skills, but not if you're not producing excellent work. Do not use City Boys R Us.

I called CityBoysRus on 4/09/14 to schedule a service appointment for estimated repair work on my Dryer. I spoke with what I believe was an answering service. I gave the model of my appliance, the problem I was having and my contact information. I was told I would get a call back, most likely within an hour. I did not receive a phone call that day of any sort, so I called back the next morning on 4/10/14. I once again spoke with a woman who told me she was sorry I had not been contacted but was not able to tell me why. I was once again required to give all of the same previous information about my problem (where was the computer file with this info?) and I was once again told I would get a call in about an hour. Four hours later I did get a call from Curtis. He told me that he would be able to come to me the next day but he could not say for certain when yet, and asked if he could call me back in a few hours with a time. I said that was fine, I would wait to hear back from him so I could be certain to be present when he called. He never called back. Out of curiosity I waited the entire next day (4/11/14) before placing this review to see if I would get a call back. No. I did not. I do not feel that my time or business was important to this company. THE PROVIDER SAID HE WOULD CALL ME BACK TO SCHEDULE. And DID NOT, Just like another reviewer here I was left hanging by CityboysRUSand gt; I was NEVER told my repair would not be possible since I had attempted it myself. It should not matter why my item was defective, Broke is Broke. And I DID contact the Provider on Two separate days for a service call, regardless of what his records 'show'

Washing machine failed on a Sunday night. Called hoping to get answering service and schedule a repair for Monday morning. Did get answering service who took my information, including the make and model of the machine, and was assured I'd be called within the hour to set an appointment. I explained that wasn't essential (this is about 9:30pm) but was again assured they are a 24-hour company and I would be called. I wasn't called. At about 11pm I called the service back. The service said they'd contact the company and I should expect a call. I said I'd be up at least another hour (I actually stayed up past 1am). I never received the promised call. I still hadn't been called by 8:30am the next day, so called the company a third time. I was told they were planning to call me at the top of the hour to explain that my washing machine was the one that ruined Maytag and there was no way they would be doing any work on that machine. Very disappointed they didn't tell me the night before so I could have found another company right away, I returned to Angie's list to find another provider. The first one I called didn't even ask for the model, assured me their guy could handle anything, and indeed, he did. Though CityBoysRus was courteous when I spoke with them, their lack of punctuality returning my answering service messages (when the service is clearly instructed to assure customers they will call) and their lack of enthusiasm for tackling any problem sent me straight to a competitor. I will not be seeking their service again.

It was a poor experience

After calling 3 companies to fix our washer (1 canceled, 2 simply did not show up) , we called City Boys. They were very professional on the phone and their service fee was half of what we had been quoted from other companies. Not only was it only $49.00 to come out, they included it in the repair with a itemized breakdown. Even though they ran about ten minutes late, Curtis our service rep. called to let us know that traffic had held him up but he was right around the corner. Curtis was very nice and professional. He fixed our washer in a short period of time, but took the time to explain and show us what the problem was. He even helped us re-set our disposal for no charge. In addition to their great service, they are available 24 hours. Curtis came to fix our problem on a Friday at 6pm! In Atlanta traffic! We will definitely keep his card on our bulletin board for all future appliance repairs
