+ -1 moreBased on recommendation from a neighbor, I met with Ian in early January 2013 to get estimates on the cost to remodel both my master and guest bathrooms. I needed someone primarily to do the tile work. I thought his estimates were very fair and given my neighbor's experience working with him, I knew the work would be quality. I decided to hire him. He provide me with the measurements of the two bathrooms so I would know how much tile to buy. He started demolition on the guest bath on Friday, January 18th and completed all work for both bathrooms including additional tasks I asked him to do on Monday, Feb. 4. It was a great working experience and I would not hesitate to work with him on a future remodeling project.
Description of Work: I hired Ian Hastings to do remodeling of a guest bath and master bath. He primarily did the tile work which included the demolition of the current floor and wall tiles, removal of tub in master bath and installation of new tile. Additionally, he built a new walk-in, tiled shower in place of a tub I had in my master bathroom. Other work he did included removing florescent lighting in master and guest bathrooms as well as powder room and installing canned light as well as overhead fan/lights and installing new shower controls in the guest and master baths. Ian was very easy to work with. He had great suggestions on how to do what I wanted to have done.
