Childrens Wellness Center

Child was sick with mild symptoms for over a month, they treated as a common cold or allergies, then started developing stronger symptoms and running 103-105 fever while in their care, replaced antibiotics few times, fever wouldn't go away, (over 2 weeks) doctors did not want to run extras tests, thinking the tests could be to invasive... called them so many times using the after hour service, nurses were no help, doctor took a while to call back. Child lost over 3 pounds in 2 weeks, had pneumonia and mono, that we found out after a long night at the ER. A large hospital bill on top of my out of pocket to Children wellness center. Money thrown away, my child suffered without the proper care from the doctors, that kept saying it was allergies, cold, or a "virus that is going around". We have used them for several years now, and have seeing few of the doctor in this practice, but overall not impressed with service. Will never go back

They are good on the technical side and know what they are doing.

Dr. was gentle but thorough, and told us what she was checking as she worked. Dr. also asked questions and listened to my daughter's responses on friends, food, activities, and school. She talked some with my daughter about social and emotional issues that may come up as she gets older. Liked that the Dr. and the practise is interested in the whole well being of my child, not just the physical. The nurses are great, too. They get the hard job of giving my daughter vaccinations (which she has always resisted), but are good at getting it done.

They have been great. They are very knowledgeable. Their appointments are usually on time. If I call with a sick child, they can get me in. We have been using them since she was a baby.

Care and treatment were fine, but they are such a large practice there's no personalization. They stick to their protocols with no deviation. No guarantee you'll even see your child's assigned primary pediatrician.

It was a really quick visit. Admitted and discharged in abt 35-45 min. My son has always been afraid of doctors so I tried to explain how they would lance the finger in order to drain the infection and to relieve any pressure. He wanted know part of it but once in the back exam room, the doctors gentle touch and soft tone really put him at ease. We were self pay, no insurance, which in this case didnt turn out so bad. It was a total of abput $ 145 incluiding cultures. That versus a 3 hour wait and anastronomical bill from the ER..... I was really satisfied.

I intereviewed several pediatricians and selected this group even though it is not the most convenient location for our family. Our primary doctor is Julie Segal and she is amazing! She always patiently listens and answers all of your questions. We have always gotten our primary doctor, even on sick visits. There was one sick visit where she was not available, but the other doctor was great too. All of the staff are nice and remember us by name. Have a great nurse line and good relationships with specialists all over Atlanta. Nice waiting area; easy parking including a valet option. My daughter loves to go see 'Dr. Segal!'

He is a really great doctor. Great bedside manner with me and my family. They are extremely professional and we have been going to him for about 4 years, and will continue to do so. I would recommend him highly to anyone in the future.

She is very thorough. She is friendly and easy to work with. My overall experience has been excellent. Her availability, office environment, is good. Her punctuality is satisfactory. Her bedside manner, communication, effectiveness of treatment and billing & administration are excellent. I would use her services in the future.

She is really good and listens to all of our concerns, being new parents. She makes sure we understand what she is talking about and I really like her and all the nurses at the office. I will use her again in the future.

I am very happy with this pediatric office. All of the doctors are very knowledgable and give me as much information as I like. I feel confortable taking my first born here and confident that she is receiving the best care. The nurse always returns call in a timely manner as well.
