Went great! Based on a comparison quote, we felt the pricing was reasonable. The owner and two of his employees did the work. They were good-spirited and professional. We scheduled on a week when we were away. The floors look terrific.

This is the third time that we have used Jerry Hadden and his crew for placing new hardwood floors and general refinishing. They always work within your timeframe and clean up beautifully when the job is finished. He will always discuss changes with you if they come up during the job. I have always been able to leave the house in his hands and know that he will take care of my furniture and possessions like they are his own. One time we even went on vacation and let him work while we were gone knowing that we could trust him and his crew.

Jerry is always punctual and does a great job. The last time we used him we were out of town. He refinished our hardwood floors in the whole house while we were gone. We trusted him with our security code and he came and went as needed to get the job done. It is great to have a company that you trust enough to do that. When the job was finished he completely cleaned the house and got rid of all dust leftover from refinishing the floors. He gives a very competitive price and definitely does a great job.

We've used Jerry's company, Chastain Wood Floors, twice. Once to buff and polish hardwoods in the kitchen, and after we bought another house, to refinish about 1,600 square feet of hardwood floors, remove carpet and finish stair treads, refinish an existing railing and finish a new railing. Jerry and his crew showed up on time as promised, completed the work within the time specified, and cleaned up the dust from refinishing the floors. Jerry went above and beyond to replace door thresholds that weren't in the original estimate, with no extra cost. The floors look great. The stair rails had some issues, but Jerry was the first to bring potential problems to our attention and work with us on a solution. We would definitely use Chastain Wood Floors again for hardwood floor refinishing, and recommend to others.

I am very pleased with my floors now. Chastain did an excellent job matching the wood floors in the rest of my home. The repairmen were very professional and courteous. They gave me an estimate on the cost and they charged me exactly what they estimated.
