Description of Work: Converted existing porch to enclosed sunroom. In hindsight I should have gotten competing quotes for this job was way too expensive. The Champion glass could filter out some sun heat but also transferred way too much cold back indoors, could have saved thousands with competition, waited six weeks for install, most people wait 3 months for install.

Description of Work: installed a number of windows, they did a nice job and windows look good. |We had an issue with one window not being the correct model. We called them and they were more then happy to come and replace it. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Replace all windows in home. On the expensive side. Completed in one day. Everyone connected with this company, including the installers, were competent, pleasant, and efficient.

Description of Work: We got several bids for replacing the 40 windows on the back of our house. The windows we were replacing were single pane, and original to the house. We decided to go with plain (non-grid) windows, and several of the windows were picture windows, which were more expensive than the traditional with grids, double hung. Champion was not the cheapest, but they had the highest rating, and the work was done by them, not a sub contractor. Given that we had so many windows to replace, we decided it was worth the extra money to feel good about not only the windows, but also the installation of the windows. When we ordered the windows they told us they would replace all 40 in one day. We didn't see any way this was possible - the other companies were quoting 2-3 days for install. To our shock and amazement, they did complete the install in one day! Granted, it was a rather long day - I think they finished around 6:30pm, but they not only were quick, but did great quality work. My husband inspected the windows as they were doing them to make sure there was no damage to the interior frame, or siding on the outside. We couldn't be more happy with the entire process, including the windows themselves. This past winter was much more pleasant with better quality windows. We would use Champion again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: There seemed to be a lot of bait and switch with the prices, especially since I did my order in 2 phases. Phase 2 did not go so smoothly, but because I was already had 1 piece done, I felt like I had to keep going with them. The soundproof quality that the salesman told me about was not there. I have one window with a small crack in it (I believe from pushing the window down too hard)and after owning houses for 20 years, I have never had that happen before which makes me reconsider the quality.

Description of Work: Ordered windows to replace screens on porch. Initial representative left the company and dealt with several others. A small part needed to be ordered and replaced and it never happened despite multiple efforts and contact with the company. This part did not affect the functionality and finally was not worth the the time and effort on our part to continue contacting. The windows work well and look nice but the experience was not optimum.

Description of Work: Regional mgr wanted to do everything "on the cheap"!! Didnt hire QUALIFIED sub-contractors, & when there were problems didnt believe his people were at fault; tried to blame leaking problem on existing roof, NOT the new roof his people put on (incorrectly, used incorrect & substandard materials...just to name a few problems,,). Reg mgr arrived at my hm w/an 'attitude', refusing to pay to have problem fixed, i had to bring in 3 separate roofing companies for quotes to show him what was done incorrectly, what needed to be done, & addt'l problems the incorrect construction was causing to original roof. Was told project would be done NLT 8 wks---it took OVER 6 months!! As a final affront, reg mgr illegally documented loan forms to 2 different loan companies to say that I had "signed off on completion of project on 26 Sep 2014," & he IMMEDIATELY received full pymt from the loan companies----and when I contacted them both, I was told that they recvd completion approval (w/MY SIGNATURE!!!) forms from the reg mgr: I had NEVER, nor have I YET (!!) to sign for final completion of the bldg project. (The final blinds weren't even hung until the middle of Nov!) When I contacted the reg mgr to see/obtain a copy of the documents that I SUPPOSEDLY signed, I was told by one of his employees that he could not locate my project folder in their offc files, & that it had been moved to the reg mgr's ofc, behind a locked door! The man is a cheat; a liar; uses inferior materials; tries to add on addt'l charges throughout the project--WITHOUT THE CUSTOMER'S KNOWLEDGE OR APPROVAL; & is totally disrespectful, rude& arrogant to the customers face when I confronted him in person about the lies, problems/issues we were encountering using his company. WARN EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! The anger, stress level & aggravation to deal w/them in person & over the phone is not worth it, & a 'bad air' continues to exist in our sunroom project. 😔😔😔. So NOT the wonderful experience and everlasting wonderful feeling I was told I would receive when I signed their initial contract on 24 May 2014. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CIMPANY/THIS REGIONAL MGR.

Description of Work: Replaced all the windows on our home. They promised to try and install earlier than their schedule and the kept their word. All the work was completed in a day. Hauled away old windows and cleaned up.

Description of Work: I was waiting to receive a call from Champion on the last stage of my sunroom and it has been 3 days with no response. I am not happy with the sales rep. Now I am stuck with a hotttttttt room that needs an air conditioner. I also need Champion to make the adjustment, because of warranty issues.

Description of Work: Champion replaced two large windows in our home. We are pleased with the workmanship however, one of the windows developed a crack from the top edge edge apparently from expansion and contraction. I informed them and they have put an order in to have a new sash made. I was told it would be 6-8 weeks before it came in. The original windows took at least that long if not longer to come in once ordered. The windows are very nice but Champion is slow about filling orders and we were not updated on the status of the order. I called several times checking on the initial order.
