Catherine's Auto Repair is staffed with knowledgeable, professional, courteous and pleasant people, from Ansley at the front desk to Toby and the other mechanics. I feel totally comfortable knowing my car is in their capable hands. They explain in detail what they are going to do and carefully estimate the cost. My car is ready when promised and all the work is done to my satisfaction. This is the first time since I started driving that I don't feel the mechanics have taken me for a ride on car repairs. I highly recommend them to anyone with a car!

This was my first time at Catherine's Auto. I bought a Groupon certificate for an oil change and finally decided to schedule an appointment. The performed all the services they promised and let me know what I should look out for in the future. My car was finished in the time frame that was promised. And everyone was very professional and courteous. I will definitely return.

Catherine's Auto Repair determined that the repair was not indicated at the time. They also gave me their estimate if I decided to get the repair done. I would consider using them in the future.

I had my car towed because it wouldn't start. The next day they told me I needed a new alternator. They fixed it and I paid for it. Car has been running fine so far. Nice people good service. Thanks guys

They were very friendly. Although they were busy they were worked with me so I wouldn't have to wait long.

We just got our car back. They outlined everything they were going to do. We told them the stuff that had to be done. He quoted us a price, which we were expecting, and said he would call us if there was anything else. When he called back we authorized everything to be done because we knew it needed it and we trusted them. It was a great experience. We will go back to him again.

She is my regular mechanic. This auto repair store is really good. The last time I took my car in there, I spent $300 on the job. The customer service staff is really friendly. They get you in and out on time. They don?t try to do more work than what is necessary. They try to save you a lot of money and I love them. I will continue to use them in the future.

I cannot imagine going anyplace other than Catherine's auto repair for any car issues. These people are actually honest, and don't overcharge. My husband's Kia had to get both his brakes and oil pan replaced. We also took in my car, because I had a check engine light on. Catherine's actually recommended that I take my car into the dealership, as they believed my car still had the warranty on it - not many places I know would do that. Unfortunately, the Jim Ellis Hyundai dealership - which I would not recommend, said that because my car was over 5 years old, even though my car was under 60,000, the warranty was no longer valid. And even though the dealership charged me $190 just because I brought my car in and refused to give it back to me unless I paid that or got my car fixed there (uhhhh .... extortion much???), it was cheaper to get my car fixed at Catherine's even with the extortion fee at Jim Ellis. The only way this place could be better is if they were open on weekends.

I spoke with them upfront about leaving my car in the evening so they could work on it first thing in the morning. They called me once they had the chance to go over my truck and let me know their initial impressions. We discussed everything that was wrong plus my own concerns and they made their recommendations and provided an estimate. I will say that they recommended taking a cheaper route on several items as well as talking me out of having some things done (sometimes it's better just to hold off on certain repairs to avoid needless charges). They were very professional and even allowed me to fax over a credit card so I could pick up my car after hours since I have an extra set of keys. I would recommend them, highly, to anyone looking for a good and honest repair facility. They aren't going to be the cheapest in the area, but they will do it right the first time and not steer you in a questionable direction or push extra services.

Just moved to midtown Atlanta from St. Paul, MN. Car would not start one day. At the urging of a friend I joined AngiesLIst and found Catherine's Auto which was only two miles from my new home. Catherine's had an A ra ting so I called. The two people I dealt with were very friendly yet professional. They woked with my extended warranty company as well, which saved me a lot of money. The diagnostics seemed to take longer than I expected, but I think they were fitting my car in around other scheduled vehicles. After the problem was found the work was done in one day. During the duration of the process, I felt that the customer service fell a little short as to keeping me updated, but overall I was pleased with the experience. I wll definitely feel comfortable and confident giving them my business again.

If there was a single company on Angie's list that I could give higher than an "A" to it would be Catherine's Auto Repair. I'm an avid Angie's list user and I've found some great service providers here, but I give Catherine's my highest recommendation. Their shop is clean, the people are intelligent and friendly, they give you complete disclosure about what is going on with your vehicle, their prices are fair, they finish the work on time and, above all, I have found them to be totally honest (which I can't say about my local dealership or some other shops I have used). Catherine herself is extremely detail oriented, and she hires detail oriented people to work with her. I've been very pleased.

On 08/23/10, a mechanic at Catherine's rotated and balanced four wheels, inspected the brakes, performed a 20-point courtesy inspection and checked the dealer's list for recommended repairs and service. The mechanic found no problems after the courtesy inspection and determined that my car didn't need the additional work suggested by the dealer. On 08/25/10, I returned to Catherine's due to an unusual noise coming from my tires. The mechanic determined that the tires were slightly cupped which was causing the noise. The mechanic performed a four wheel computerized alignment for $69.95.

Had my front axle replaced after another mechanic put the wrong part on. Not only did they spot this quickly, but they warned me of possible future problems I may have due to driving on the wrong part in detail. Turn around was one day. They were very communicative every step of the way. I graded B for price because I don't know how to judge how expensive it is compared to others. I feel like I paid a fair price, but any car repair is always an unwelcome expense.

Very well! As usual, the staff is very prompt and consistent in their communication to you about what problems have been diagnosed and what the potential cost may be for having services performed. In two cases so far, their mechanics thoroughly checked for specific problems I mentioned, and when they determined that the cause was harmless, they didn't charge me anything for all the time they spent looking over everything. You should be aware that you may need to leave your car with them for several days before they can fully fix a problem. But, I think the patience is worth it.

The job went pretty well. I think there are more than one mechanics there. I had no problem in picking up my car. I give her an A for everything and would continue to use her services.

It is located far away from my house, but it is worth the drive. The last time I went there was around 4 months ago, and everything went well. They fixed and cleaned it up. The quality of their work is good and I have been satisfied with their service.

They seemed to be very good. I think they were honest and only did the work that they needed to do. They don't charge if they ended up not having to do something. I have been using them for a couple of years.

Beautifully! I love Joyce Motors - they are my new best friends. We've taken our Ford to them for several years and have been pleased as punch each and everytime. This time the air suspension pump blew out on our Expedition (170K+miles). It would've cost $1500 to replace/repair; instead, Pete suggested a converstion suspension kit be installed instead. We purchased the kit ourselves off Strutmasters site ($380) and Joyce Motors installed it for an add'l ($334). We saved over $780. They did the work well in timely.

When the price kept going up, I emailed Katherine herself and let her know I found them on Angie's List. She called me the next day, and let me know she was going to take care of my issues. I only paid the $1700, and got almost twice the amount of work! I was very pleased with Katherine's response about the issue.

He listens well. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. Frank did a great job. The price was fair. I have recommended them to other people.

Major tune-up and catalytic converter replacement (to get it to pass emission test after failing), oil change and regular maintenance keep this 115,000 car running smoothly. When (accidentally) overcharged once, the owner herself (Catherine) actually contacted me to apologize (she reviews all work orders at the end of each day!) and arranged a refund of that portion!

I was expecting a very expensive repair as it really did sound like a valve problem. Turns out, there was a leak in the oil pan plug and the low oil was causing the issue. Now, they could have told me that I needed a whole valve job or something and I would never have known the difference. Instead, they have made me a customer for life!
