CalTek Appliance Repair, LLC

We had 2 appliances need repair within the same week and used CalTek to service both of them. The repairs were not simple fixes and required multiple visits due to specialized parts that were not available locally and needed to be special ordered. All of our interactions with the CalTek team from scheduling to repair were amazing! Everyone was professional, personable, communicated with us through the entire repair process, and the tech was always punctual. We would happily hire them again and highly recommend them for anyone needing kitchen appliance repairs.

We had a hum in our dishwasher motor and could not get the appliance to run. We made the mistake of calling this business. CalTek spent less than 15 minutes and got our dishwasher motor running. We were initially ecstatic, as we thought we would need a new one. Importantly - the tech checked and stated "Let me check for leaks" --"No, no leaks!"...and he advised us to use the dishwasher daily to keep the appliance working. (We had been running it about every 2 days - up to a week, depending on our activities.) We had a leak the entire time....so using the dishwasher daily exacerbated the problem greatly. I called and got no reply and took it upon myself to remove the front panel where I saw an active leak. We stopped using the appliance, but our floor is a mess - and CalTek has no accountability or integrity on this. When I asked about his statement about no leaks, his reply was that he could not watch an entire cycle to check for leaks that would take too much time". BEWARE - they know all the right words and terms to skirt responsibility. The worst business that has been in my home in over 20 years. BEWARE!!! Incompetent, dishonest or both.
