The Owner responded to my call very quickly and made an appointment with me for an estimate of the tree removal work I needed to have done. He spoke in depth with me about the project, what it would entail, and the process it would take to remove the tree. He was very friendly and answered all of my questions, and said I could call for help, even if his company didnt end up doing my work. His professionalism, courtesy and friendliness, really made them stand out as a high caliber company. Ultimately my pocketbook forced me to choose a different company who had performed part of the work earlier in the month and was able to cut me a discount. However I will recommend anyone to wholeheartedly call upon Boutte Tree Inc for their tree needs.

After our homeowner?s insurance company sent us a letter over Memorial Day weekend demanding we prune some trees ? a letter that was a bit infuriating, because they identified the ?hazard? as ?trees overhanging *and* in contact with the gutter,? but to keep our insurance they wanted us to prune all ?trees overhanging *or* in contact with the gutter, but that?s another story? - I engaged four companies to provide quotes for the work, three based on Angie?s List reviews and one based on a neighbor?s recommendation. Boutte wasn?t the lowest bidder, but they weren?t the highest bidder, either. But their recommendations made intuitive sense. Also, the arborist they sent, Tyler, impressed me. He was professional and educational, while being respectful of my time. (I came home from work over lunch to meet him at my home.) He also knew the area, and specifically the ordinances governing tree pruning in the City of Atlanta. I also appreciated Boutte?s helpful and professional website design. So I accepted their work proposal online, with the condition that they had to be able to do the work before my insurance company?s absurd deadline. To my amazement, they were able to schedule a team to come out on such short notice. I was not home when they worked, but when I came home I saw they left our backyard at least as good and possibly better than when I left that morning. Now, I still had to fight with my insurance company because the amount they wanted me to prune actually violated city ordinances, but Boutte performed their services exactly as promised and took out one potentially huge stressor in a highly stressful situation. Highly recommended.

They were prompt in getting me a quote and very professional in reviewing the process and timetable. I chose to go with another company, based on price alone. Good experience and would give them a call if I have another job.

I noticed there was a tree behind my house that appeared to be completely dead. Further inspection showed that another tree, larger and much closer to my house, was half dead or worse. I decided to call Boutte Tree, Inc to get an inspection since they are in my neighborhood. Boutte sent out a certified arborist to inspect the trees. Unfortunately, the prognosis for both trees was not good. The arborist sent me an email the next day containing an estimate of $3000 to remove the trees. My immediate reaction to the estimate was that I needed to get another estimate. When I called around to other tree services, before asking for someone to come by to make an estimate I asked about whether they were insured and bonded, about their equipment and service team, and what services a typical estimate would entail. It was clear that it was going to be difficult to match what Boutte was offering without taking on a lot of personal risk. And, frankly, I can't afford to have a 50 year old water oak fall on my house. When the Boutte Tree service folks arrived at 8:30AM as expected, they discovered that they needed their bucket truck to get up into the dead canopy of the trees. Once that equipment arrived, they went to work. They completed the work within 4 hours of beginning.

Everything went off without a hitch. It was great!

Once I agreed for them to do the work I had to be on their waiting list for two months. They were not the lowest bid but I wanted an extremely careful, quality job. They did an excellent job and everyone involved, in the office or on the ground, was very pleasant to work with.

They did the work that was asked and gave me an assessment. They recommended that I take some steps to repair the trees and also cut down a bunch of other trees. From the inspection I have a licensed arborist recommendation to address two questionable trees.

Tree looks great and not "cut up." The crew was on-time, professional and cleaned up better than I expected - every little tree piece racked/blown and cleaned up; the yard looked cleaner than they arrived.

Never expecting to find anyone to come out on a Sunday morning to rescue my treed cat, I was amazed to get a call back from Mr. Boutte in answer to my SOS. Not only did he not hang up on me, he proceeded to explain his fee for rescuing the cat and the procedure necessary to have a tree climber dispatched. I was almost speechless except to say that I would pay any amount to get my sweet Lucy out of that tree. He told me that if I wanted to tip the climber, that was up to me but his fee to rescue the cat was as stated. Within an hour I received a phone call from Sal, the tree climber, to say he was on the way. He arrived, secured the tree and started his climb up as Lucy began her descent down. She was in the house, cold, wet and completely traumatized, before Sal made it back down to the ground! I know this sounds like a joke, but it most assuredly is not. Neither is the courtesy and service extended by Mr. Boutte and Sal. I think it is very telling of the integrity of a business to respond to a customer's need no matter the request or the time of day. They could easily have taken advantage of my desperate situation, but instead they took the high road. I cannot thank them enough or recommend them highly enough. If I have the need for more traditional tree service in the future, Boutte Tree Inc. will be my first call. As for Lucy, she is grounded until further notice!

The service went fine. We ended up removing a tree on their recommendation. We used another company to remove the tree because they were already doing work for a neighbor and it was convenient. The technician was very informative and helpful. We appreciated the feedback and they were very knowledgeable. I had no problem scheduling the visit.

The team arrived at 9:00 a. m. and began preparations to begin the delicate and dangerous work of cutting down the two large pine trees. One man climbed the tree cutting limbs and branches as he ascended, then cutting logs from the trunk of the tree as he descended. Two men on the ground placed the debris into piles, so that the fourth man, using a small boom, could collect the debris to be moved to the on-scene wood chucker they had, . Access to my backyard was made through my driveway and garage, which has a large rear double door. This required that they disconnect the arm to my automatic garage door opener-more on this later. They covered my concrete textured driveway with large 3'X5' mats (at least ten of them) to prevent damage to the driveway surface. They worked steadily and like a well oiled machine, the ground crew pausing and moving to allow branches and limbs to fall at the instruction of the man wielding the chainsaw in the tree. The man in the tree pausing to allow the ground crew to clear the ground for more debris. The job of cutting the trees was completed by approximately 4:30pm. By 6:30, when they left, the backyard was clear of all debris save a few small pine cones. They even raked, and shoveled to fill in the holes and large dents in the ground the falling logs made. They cleaned my patio of saw dust and my driveway of all debris, leaving all surfaces just about as clean as they found them. They wore proper safety gear and seemed cognizant of safe practices, there was no heart stopping hot dogging in this crew. The larger logs were left on the street in front of the house and were removed the next day as promised, by a man in another large truck with a boom. He cleared the street of dirt and debris before he left. After they left, my automatic garage door would not remain closed, unless lowered manually, despite many efforts to make adjustments on the unit. I called the tree company, and the man they sent to fix it, arriving the next day, did not seem to have any idea what to do. I had to call a garage repair company, who fixed the door for $29.00. It took awhile, but the company sent me a check on October 29, 2014 to cover the cost for the garage door repair and thanked me, profusely, for being so patient.

Jay came out in the midst of a massive downpour. He looked over the tree and re-assured me that the tree was healthy. The lower dead limbs were a result of not getting enough sun due to tree canopies from nearby trees.

VERY WELL. They were very communicative and responsive. Listened to what was desired and gave a very decent quote. Would definitely use them again for similar needs!

They first sent out an arborist to look at the trees and provide some initial estimates for the job. He was very knowledgable, polite, and genuinely helpful! It's refreshing to meet someone that actually enjoys their job. The estimate they provided was spot on for the final cost of the job. The actual job was scheduled roughly two weeks out from the initial visit. An early opportunity came up due to a cancelation, and they contacted me to see if I'd like to schedule it sooner (and I did!). The crew showed up on time and was very polite, professional, and efficient. The whole job was done in less than an hour. They removed both trees (except the stumps) and cleaned everything up. I was told another crew would remove the stumps in the next couple of days. The "stump crew" (another company sub contracted by Boutte) arrived the following day without "warning". Unfortunately a car was in the way, I didn't have the keys, and I had to scramble to have the owner return home to move it. The crew was very polite and waited for the car to be moved (roughly 25 minutes). It would have been nice to have been provided with an ETA for the stump crew (so they wouldn't have had to waste their time waiting for the car to be moved). The stumps were ground down and the resulting chips/mulch was raked back into the holes/cleaned up. The overall experience was top notch! I would definitely recommend Boutte's services! No surprise costs and very professional. This is how all businesses should operate. While I don't have any other experience with other similar tree services to compare to, if you are on the fence about using Boutte, go ahead and jump!

They initially sent a certified Arborist to assess a large white oak who ordered a test on the tree. They returned a very sophisticated report outlining the current health of the tree and risk assessment of the surrounding area. The arborist also walked our entire yard to look at the health of our other trees. It was recommended that we remove the tree as it put our neighbors and their house at risk. They made a written proposal covering falling the tree and complete removal. I got two other proposals from smaller companies and they were more expensive as well as not having their own crane. They arrived on time and performed the job quickly and skillfully. Contact with all the staff was friendly and extremely professional. I highly recommend Boutte Tree Inc. I will use them again when needed.

Their estimate was more than $200 higher than the other provider, negating the value of the big deal.

It was flawless. From the sales person giving me estimate, to scheduling the work, to completion of the work, I found Boutte to be top notch. They did the work as promised very professionally removing debris and hauling off. The work men were hard working, thorough and knowledgeable. And they take safety of their workers seriously. Be sure to include them in your list of people giving you an estimate to do your work. I will use them again.

Was very fast and efficient, left a very minimal footprint on my property. Got out quickly after the big freeze took out out half the tree and sent it to the neighbors yard, and did a quick look over the whole property to let me know if there were other trees to be concerned about.

They did a very good job. They really helped me identify what needed to be trimmed.

They removed a diseased tree in my front yard. Excellent service for a excellent price!

This was the second company I got an estimate from. I could tell right away that Tyler knew trees. His estimate was lower than the other company and considered the esthetics of a dogwood tree that was somewhat in the way of the job. The other company wanted to chop it down to get their equipment in. Boutte found a way to get into the area without damaging the mature dogwood. I live on a very small lot situated very close to my neighbors. The yard is fenced in and the pecan tree was leaning over my house. A lot of the removal was done without heavy equipment which made it expensive. I was expecting that. The job went very well and my property was taken care of. All debris was removed. A stump grinder came a few days later. Then Tyler showed up to find out if I was satisfied. There was one little thing I was not happy about - the pruning of the dogwood was not done as well as I expected. So that was taken care of within a few days. I was not expected to pay until I was COMPLETELY satisfied. I really liked that. I will use this company again if I need them and I recommend them highly.

This was a fairly extensive residential tree project and several of the trees that we had removed were very large and located in close proximity to our house. Tierson and his crew did a fantastic job and we would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of tree removal. Not only are they very knowledgeable and professional, they also have all the necessary equipment to get the job done efficiently and safely. We had several large pine trees that they had to cut and then hoist over our house with their large crane. It was really quite impressive. We will definitely use them again in the future for some additional tree work that we still need to complete.
