Boutte Tree applied for the permit to remove the tree from our yard and scheduled the work immediately after the permit was approved. They cut down the tree and ground the stump.

Boutte Tree's personnel are diligent, responsible, thorough, and conscientious. Tierson and Jessa met with me to look at the 65-foot tree with engorged hollow area in trunk 20 feet up from the ground. Tierson performed a resistograph and determined the tree was hazardous and needed to be removed only a VERY thin outer layer of wood around the entire hollow area. If the large-canopy tree cracked at the hollow during high winds, it could have done extensive damage to 2 or 3 houses. When first meeting with Tierson and Jessa, it was obvious they are tree lovers and that the well-being of the other surrounding trees in buffer area was of utmost importance when removing the poplar. Tierson met with me and surrounding neighbors several times to identify and refine ways to remove this tree safely. He was very thorough in communicating various options. Removal was tricky because of tree s location in back right corner of the wooded lot, with no good access from property on either side or behind. Each homeowner that might be impacted by this tree had input about removal. Boutte Tree and homeowners discussed options, and the pros and cons of each. Going through wooded buffer lot was option selected, even though some small saplings would have to be removed. Boutte laid down matting to minimize damage to sidewalk and curb--and there was no damage done. They pruned or trimmed several close-proximity large trees to minimize damage to them while removing limbs from the tulip poplar. And they worked very carefully when removing the hazardous tree. I and my neighbors were impressed with the quality and thoroughness of their work, and the care that was taken during removal of this poplar. I would highly recommend Boutte Tree for the most delicate and hazardous of tree removals.

Tiersan (the owner) gave us a quote last week which was competitive. He gave me a good idea how they would remove what looked to me to be tricky trees in that they would fall in our pond if not removed carefully. They came today on a rainy day and scaled each tree, tied each off to a larger tree and then took each tree down from the top. They swung each piece over to the large tree and then lowered it carefully to the ground. Work was completed quickly and with no damage and all debris was cleaned up and hauled off. Great job!!!

Boutte Tree (Tierson) cut down the tree safely and cleaned up after the job. They came out on time and was done by mid day.

I had an old, very large oak tree that was dying in my front yard about 3 feet from my house. It was a very difficult tree to remove as there are high power wires located on the street in front of my house. Tierson brought special equipment and took the tree down without any damage to my yard, sidewalk or house. His estimate was much better than others I had gotten and he was very professional.

They came to give me an estimate within a day or 2 of calling. When I decided to hire them they wanted to schedule the work about a month away. I wanted to have the work done sooner as one of the trees was close to my house and had already dropped a branch and put a hole in my roof. Fortunately they had a job postponed within a week and were able to schedule my work sooner. It took about 7 hours and they did the job they said they would so I was completely satisfied.

Punctual, friendly, informative estimate - gave additional advice on caring for our trees. Actual service work scheduled 3 weeks out, arrived on time, work performed perfectly. Highest recommendation for these folks. Will use them again.

When I first spoke with Jessa about arranging an estimate, I knew this was going to be a good thing. She was very polite, friendly, and professional. Tierson arrived on time and was also very friendly and professional. It was obvious to me he has a passion for his work, is very knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Though the impetus in calling was to evaluate one tree, I asked Tierson to check everything out and make recommendations. I feel that he did not recommend unnecessary services, evaluated thoroughly, and explained his recommendations clearly. The work was performed to my satisfaction an as scheduled. Overall, Boutte Tree exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

We've had a problem with squirrels jumping onto our house from nearby trees and chewing our cedar shingles. I called Boutte Tree, Inc. and they came out the same week to give me an estimate. The estimate was approximately what I had expected and they were able to come out within a few weeks to complete the work. They were professional and left our property clean. We're planning on hiring them again in the fall to do some additional work.

Well. My neighbor happened to be using them and sent them over that day after they finished his project to give us an estimate. Did the job same day. We didn't compare shops.

It went great. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted when I called for an estimate. I knew I wanted more sun on my herb & vegetable garden and the Magnolia's above it were causing too much shade. He kindly stated that he'd rather not top off the tree and suggested calling another company if that is what I wanted to do. I found it quite impressive that his appreciation and love of trees outweighed the almighty buck. Rather, he suggested feasible alternatives to topping the tree and showed us the correct way to trim it back ourselves. I was very impressed with his demeanor and his appreciation for what he does. I will certainly give them a call back whenever we have a need for their services, rather than just cosmetic :). I appreciate his time and sharing his knowledge with us. Great customer service, quick turnaround and they are very nice and knowledgeable.

These guys specialize in getting huge trees out of tricky spots, and they did not disappoint. The job was performed in a matter of hours, and was done incredibly cleanly. Not a branch remained in our yard when the team left. Their price was very competitive for the type of job we required (several hundred dollars less than other quotes we received). If there is such a thing as a "progressive tree company", this team would be the very definition. Not only do they utilize some seriously cool technology to safely and effectively remove trees (search "RigEm&Roll" on Google/YouTube), but all their vehicles run on Biodiesel. What impressed me the most, though, was Tierson Boutte's knowledge and passion for trees and the industry. He took the time to explain, in great detail, the precise angles at which the tree might fall if we didn't have it removed. After the tree had been removed he even took the time to examine the stump with us so we could know the age of the tree. I would highly recommend their services to anybody looking to have some tree work done. Thanks guys!

The project went very well and the outcome is amazing! We still have a lot of work to do on the yard but we couldn't get started until the trees were removed and the yard looks a million times better! Although, the stump grinding work has not been completed, I'm sure that will also go smoothly and we can start working on our yard and replanting some trees!

Two trees which were right next to our house with roots under the foundation were blown over in a storm. The city removed the trees since they were blocking the street but left the stumps and root balls. We called Boutte tree on a Saturday afternoon and they came Sunday to give us an estimate and said they would fit us in as soon as possible since we could not repair our foundation until the stumps were removed. Even though we had to wait for insurance approval on Wednesday they were able to come Friday afternoon. They came with a crew of 4 and lots of equipment and were able to remove the two stumps without any further damage to our home. They cleaned up all the dirt etc. before they left. We were very pleased with the work and the very friendly service we received. We would definitely use them again.

We received a quotation the day after Mr. Boutte visited our house, and the tree was down the same week. Someone came by a day later to grind down the stump. Everything was removed from our property except for the stump grindings. All work was done for the quoted price, and per the contract.

It went very well. Tierson and his wife are a pleasure to deal with, probably because they are excellent communicators. Tierson is straightforward, appears to be a very diligent and competent arborist, and doesn't propose needless or frivolous work. We will certainly continue to use Boutte Tree and we intend to have Tierson review our trees at least annually.

His prices are competitive. He comes when we need him. He is just perfect. He is licensed for this, and he is like some kind of tree doctor. He helps me preserve my beautiful Oak tree. I would recommend him.

We called and immediately had a visit for the free estimate scheduled. Mr. Boutte called ahead to confirm the appointment with us, gave us a couple of options (either remove the entire tree, or just the dead parts), including estimates for both options. He also checked out some other trees for us and gave us some helpful information. There was no pressure on us to decide quickly or to choose the more expensive option. We decided to have the tree removed, that was quickly scheduled, the crew arrived on time, and did an expert job! They even found a nest of baby squirrels which they carefully moved to a nearby tree, that was really nice and ethical. They also removed a couple of limbs from other trees for us. They were neat and cleaned up all the debris (you'd never guess we just had a big tree removed!) Tierson Boutte is a great professional to work with, and he called to follow up to make sure we were satisfied. We will definitely recommend Boutte Tree to others and hire them again.

There was a slight delay coming out as they had to cancel the first day, but they were there the next day on time. They had a small crew that was knowledgeable and well supervised. They did a good job.

Great. Tierson dropped by, looked at all of our trees and told us that nearly all of them are fine as is. He pointed out one tree that had been damaged by growing through the deck and advised taking it out. He also said he'd trim up our pecan tree. The estimate was $500 for both. We'd been expecting it to cost a lot more and were surprised. It took a week or so for the city to approve tree removal, which Boutte handled for us, and they came while we were away and the tree was gone when we got home one day. They even cleaned up after themselves! We received the bill before the pecan tree was trimmed, but when I called to find out the situation, they explained it was a small job and didn't require the whole crew so they'd been putting it off. They trimmed it as promised. We are very happy with the work they did.

Mr. Boutte came out within two days of the call and reviewed the tree. He not only gave us the opinion that the tree could be saved and instructions of what we needed to do, but within hours of seeing the tree he emailed me a letter for us to use with Georgia Power, providing details of how the tree should be handled. I was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and interest in our tree. He treated this as an estimate, so we did not end up hiring him to do any work, but in the future if I need a tree service, I would definitely call him again.

The job was completed professionally. Mr. Boutte has been available by phone to help me out with questions about tree care several times, and even came by to give advice on a tree well that we were building at no cost. He has given estimates on other services we will need in the fall with no pressure or fancy salestalk.

Mr. Boutte came out and gave an estimate and the work was to be performed for $2250. During the estimate I showed Mr. Boutte some cracks that went around the tree, but he thought they wouldn't create a problem. Wrong! A large crane was needed costing an additional $950. That was a hard thing to hear on the day of the service, but I needed the Hickory tree down because it was dangerous. The work itself was great. There was no damage to anything and the work area was left clean. Overall, Boutte did an excellent job. I recommend the service and I would use them again. I gave a "B" in overall experience only because of the missed estimate.
