Description of Work: Developed a design for my front yard.

Description of Work: Hired Botanica to do an extensive design for my front youar. My back yard neede work as wel but I did not want to do it at the same time as the front. I contacted them in July to see if there would be a fit. My front yard project was not nearly complete enough to be able to give me a landscape design at that point. At the end of Sept I told Botanica my front yard was far enough along if they wanted to come out to take a look. I took about a week for them to come by. Two people came by two separate times, looking at the front and back and measuring everything to scale for the design. Then I was told that the landscape cost would be in excess of 20,000.00 did I want to persue this since on a questionnaire I had indicated I wanted to spend 10,000.00. I said we would be happy to see there design. On Oct 17th I received an email that my design would be done at the end of that week and would be presented to me the next week. Monday Oct 24th came along so I asked which day they would be presenting my plan. ( They had made another trip to my house prior to this). They said it would be ready at the end of that week Oct. 28th and they would be happy to present it to me the following week, Oct 31 on either Wed, Thursday or Friday. So now in my opinion they are 2 weeks late with presenting the plan to me, and I am not available to meet with them on Wed, Thurs or Friday of Halloween week. There argument is that they told me it would take 3 to 4 weeks to draw up a landscape plan for me and that they weren't late at all. However, in my estimation they said they were ready on Oct 21st to present plan to me during the week of Oct 24th, which never happened. They were uncomplimentary of the stonework I had done( not by their company),critical of how things were planned and did not do what I asked them, which was just a design for the front yard. The front yard is 1/3 existing grass. 1/3 planted beds, 3 cherry trees and stone driveway/walks and steps which created 4 new planting beds. They weren't starting from scratch on this project. They do not seem passionate about their projects unless you allow them to do everything in the design and not already have part of the work done. I wouldn't recommend them.
