Description of Work: Hired to remove sedge in grass and mulch, pull poison ivy, and some general shrub/tree trimmings. We're newbies at this and we were worried about killing our grass and plants if we tried to kill the sedge ourselves. | |Took a long time to get the job done, but this was mainly due to it being rainy around the job. The herbicide he used pretty much murdered the regular grass, and they killed a ton of black eyed susans. We understand that there was a risk for collateral damage but that level was not communicated to us ahead of time. | |I'm giving my overall D rating mainly because he tried to overcharge us. We agreed to a price, and then the final invoice came in several hundred above. Luckily I had it in writing, and we were able to sort it out, but you don't mess around with that. | |After all that cost which we hoped we save our plants and kill the sedge, our plants were dead and the sedge survived. Ended up buying a $20 bottle of sedge killer at home depot and doing that part myself.
