They showed up on time, did the work agreed upon, used a written scope of work (which I liked) and finished on schedule. Left a neat job site behind. They saved me several months of hand labor. They piled all the brush on the street (maybe 10 or 15 cubic yards) and the County picked it up the next week.

The company was quick to respond after my Angie's List purchase and available relatively soon, and in frequent contact about performing the estimate and doing the work. They worked around our changing schedule. The estimate covered even more work than we'd asked, but they helpfully itemized the jobs and let us choose a la carte. Even then, they were willing to negotiate. "The work by the two-man crew was top-notch. They did everything we asked and then some (and didn't try to charge us for the "then some"). It wasn't cheap, but it was an excellent job.

It went quite well. The team was professional and quick.

They were very professional, arrived on time, looked around and did an estimate. However, the quote was almost comical. This is a standard ~2000 sq ft house on maybe 1/4 of an acre. They wanted a $400 initial clean-up and a $400/month maintenance contract for once or twice a month regular lawn maintenance. No amount of "quality work" stacks up to such an absurd monthly cost.

He was exceptional. He did a beautiful job and my house sold right after that. The yard certainly looked nice whenever he was done. He was very easy to work with if you just tell him what you need. He was very responsive. He is really good. All I had to do was ask and he did what I wanted.

Overall pretty good. We did have to call them once to remind them to trim the bushes, but after that things were fine. However, they are priced a little high for the service provided. I'm estimating the cost as I don't remeber

They are excellent. They do what they say they will when I have extra things for them to do, and they even repaired a fence and removed a stump under the fence that no one else would touch or even give an estimate for.

The gentleman that came out was nice and seemed knowledgeable. We wanted an estimate on soding the yard and also routine yard maintenance. He took up quite a bit of our time and then we never heard from him again. Guess they didn't need the work.

Working out well but wish I could get rid of my weeds. No one seems to be able to make a dent and have tried several people.

Their service is great. We have been very happy with them taking care of the landscaping. Every so often we have issues with particular plants or trees that need pruning or look like they might be dying. And Bill's always knows just what to do. They are more expensive than cheap unskilled labor, but they actually know how to take care of the lawn.

Perfect! 2 houses done. Great job. Great. Communication. Great price!

If you are looking to hire a professional, knowledgable, and reliable landscaping company, I recommend talking to Chris or Bill with Bill's Yard and Odd Job Service. The teams are prompt, courteous, and highly-skilled. Also, Chris consistently goes above and beyond in assisting us with landscaping - he is especially helpful with selecting plants that will thrive in our yard. Overall, the best way to describe the impact of their work is that feeling I get when I arrive home from work to see our freshly cut and manicured lawn. I take a deep breath of "ahh".

Company never committed to complete work

I called and explained what I was looking for. I was out of town a lot so I didn't have time to keep up with the leaves in the fall. Someone came to the house while I was at work and looked at the size of the job. A week or so later, I got the outrageous quote in email. I laughed out loud and shared my amusement with my colleagues at work. Several told me they would remove the leaves for 1/2 the amount. I was home quite a bit over Christmas and spent 2 beautiful afternoons doing it myself (about 2 1/2 hours each day). I actually enjoyed it so I guess the guy did me a favor :-)

We were quite pleased. They were very knowledgeable about what were good plants and what were bad plants. They were very careful about leaving good plants and taking out what was not good. The gentleman we talked to knew a good bit about plants and knew what he was doing and about the gardening aspect of it and taking care of the yard. The price was high. We did have some back and forth with questions. They came when they said they would. We would use them again.

Outstanding service. I've used Bill's Service several times and have always been pleased with the results. They are responsive, conscientious, and they do the work they promise to do in a timely fashion. I recommend them highly.

The gentleman came out to do the estimate on Oct 11, 2011. I just now got the estimate via e-mail on Oct 23, 2011. It seemed overpriced for the work to be done. The gentleman was very professional, but I don't think I will use this service provider.

They gave an estimate that cost more than we wanted to spend, for removing all the ivy on the ground as well, then adjusted the scope of the work. They were punctual, pleasant, and quick. One detail was not what I had hoped, and they returned within a day to correct it. Some of the ivy was still near the base of the trunks, and I asked them to pull it away. They did a terrific job, I recommend them highly.
