WARNING: BAIT & SWITCH. Big South Movers and my company are part of a trade company. I found them through my rep at the trade company and scheduled two moves with them. I was very upfront about the scope of the moves and the addresses of each location. Lenton, the owner, gave me a quote of how much he could do on trade and how much would be cash. I was fine with the arrangement. The first move Saturday went fine with the exception of him adding a $50 cash fee for gas that he failed to mention in his original quote. A little annoying but not a deal killer. The second move was scheduled two days later for 10AM. At 8:30AM, I get a call from Lenton to tell me that the deal has changed and he will need all cash to do the move. That is just bad business to me. He knows I'm in a position that I need him so he thinks he has leverage to pull a bait and switch on me. I did not use him however because I would be disgruntled paying him any more money. I found another mover but it has delayed my move by a few days. You can imagine the inconvenience this has caused. I would not recommend using anyone that will treat a customer this way.
