It was a little difficult to schedule with Mr. Monat but part of that is because the weather hasn't been very hot and I suggested that he take care of his urgent clients first. Also, we are generally not available in the middle of the day so it was a bit difficult to schedule an evening call. When the weather did get hot and our dog started getting heat distress I had to insist on a visit sooner rather than later. Mr. Monat was pleasant, accommodating, and understanding. He fit me in between two other clients. In a matter of minutes he had the system running again and he confirmed that it did not need a charge -- though he could have charged me for one. He admitted that he really did not do anything to the system other than check out the circuitry and the charge. We suspect that something went wrong with the GA Power energy conservation program control box. As the house was cooling down, I asked him some questions about the a/c in one of my antique cars. He gave me advice, suggestions, and offered to help with the car whenever I got ready to fix it. He only charged me for the service call -- which was modest compared to others. Mr. Monat is a very pleasant older gentleman with lovely manners, and a charming European accent. He is honest, non-threatening, and not pushy or alarmist. It is clear that he has a LOT of experience and he is as sharp as can be. He seems to be genuinely more interested in making his customers happy than making a buck off of them. I anticipate having to have some HVAC work done in the near future for a kitchen renovation and likely a system replacement within the next couple of years. I will contact Mr. Monat first.

They were wonderful. They were great. Out of the blue, my heating went out and that was the coldest day we had here. So these people made their other customers wait to make sure that I had heat for the night. They came back the very next morning and took care of me just like that. Within three hours, I had a new heating and air-conditioning unit. They were rated five stars, I didn’t even know that when I called them. It was like god sent or something. The first company I called wasn’t going to do anything for me. They were the original people who put this unit in. Now I am glad I didn’t go through them again. People at Better Service Heating & Air were excellent in every aspect of service. They were right here when they said they were going to be here. If they were a minute late, they would call me and tell me that they will be a little bit late. I would absolutely use them in the future again. I have a real nice warranty on the unit, so I am sure if it breaks down, they will be here in a second.
