Bertolli Floors

He came by but he immediately said he wasn't interested in this job. It was just a hallway and I could tell that it was too small a job and he wasn't interested in doing this small job. What he didn't realize was that I own another home that needs a lot more work and I could have used him there as well. Oh well, his loss.

The reviews are very high on this company so it motivated me last week to come see them from over an hour away. I am trying to update the floors in my house and Bertolli was my number one choice. I called earlier in the week and the address was confirmed. Per angies list, their hours on Saturday were Sat:10:00 AM ‒ 04:00 PM. Unfortunately the address on this website and their own website took me to a corporate facility which doesn't host their showroom. Secondly, the owner said they close on Saturday at noon (this was after me calling constantly once I was at their corporate site) None of these 2 points were mentioned on Angie's list. When I spoke to him he did sound apologetic and said he would text me the address of his showroom so I could come during the week. It's been 4 days and still no text. Reluctantly I have to scratch this company off my list and it pains me to do so based on the amazing reviews. I would suggest to the owner to fix his listing as he's lost me as a potential customer

Bruno and his team were very responsive and the result is exactly what we wanted. My only complaint would be some communication issues, but nothing prevented the result from being less than amazing. Very pleased and will be using Bruno for further work!

Our new floors are just beautiful. Bruno helped us pick out the exact product we needed and we are very happy with the selection, the install and his service. We had some minor damage to a baseboard that he promises to repair soon. Other than that (which can happen when any major work is done and which was temporarily patched well until he can return) everything in the room is absolutely as beautiful as I imagined and I am absolutely thrilled with how easy it has been to work with the owner! He showed up timely, followed up as promised and got all quotes done quickly with answers to all questions handled promptly and professionally! His crew showed up on install day and did a great job. Bruno is now “our flooring guy” and we look forward to having him back on the next phase as soon as we are ready for that to begin!

Bertolli Floors is the best company I have ever used for services. Due to an unscrupulous contractor I found on CL - who took my money and jacked up the little bit of flooring he laid. I said let me try Angie's list and find a real pro. The first company to show was Bertolli Floors. I called and spoke to Bruno and told him with happened with the scam artist CL contractor and that I need to have my flooring installed - and repair ASAP. As it was Saturday, Bruno informed me that it would be Sunday before someone would be able to do the work. The stars must have been in my favor today. Bruno called back and said he had someone available to come out today - Saturday. What? Same Day service. Shut the front door! His guy, Willis came over within 30 min, tools in hand. Willis told me he could finish laying the flooring and fix the boards that were not laid correctly. In 4 hours Willis completed insulation of flooring for my living room and entryway. I am so glad I used Angie's List and found Bertolli Floors. Top notch company from start to finish. This was a long process as you can imagine with us currently living in the house. Bruno was very helpful in helping us make our selection of flooring and patient as we procrastinated and vacillated a couple of times. He provided a very detailed quote and work began after the holidays. Work was scheduled over 4 weeks. Bruno was helpful in rescheduling around our need to get an engineers assessment of some settlement cracks. His wood crews were very punctual, and boy did they work hard and fast. We added a redo of the stairs complete with new treads and iron balusters. This too was done very quickly. The stairs along with the wood floors are beautiful. We were a little less satisfied with the tile work, but this was a small part of the job. It took twice as long as scheduled. Some of it was because of the sub freezing weather, but he also didn't work a full day. He asked us some questions about our preference for a brick(1/2 offset) pattern or a 1/3 offset. Not knowing, we picked brick. It came out fine, but we ultimately found out that for our tile size, 1/3 offset is recommended to avoid something called lippage. So educate yourself or read the instructions in the box. As I said the wood floor installation went great and they look great. My wife loves the variation in the wood we chose. I am less of a fan of the variation of the color, but it is growing on me. Bruno was very upfront about the variation. I am only mentioning this to help you be aware that the small wood samples don't address variation, so be sure to ask and if you are a person like me that likes more uniformity, go with something with less variation. So my final thoughts are that I can recommend Bertolli floors without hesitation. Good luck with your installation. So glad ours is done.

I selected Bruno at Bertolli Floors because he pays attention to details and provided a printed quote at the end of consultation. He has the crew remove shoe mold and replace it with primed shoe mold when finished rather than taking the shortcut of sanding with it in place. He likes to work with oil based polyurethane which last longer and gives a rich deeps color to wood. Other estimate left shoe mold in place and would only work with water based poly. His father and son are skilled in refinishing, careful about details and take pride in their work. They are professionals and were readily available with questions. My hardwood floors are gorgeous.

Bruno Bertolli's assessment of our flooring needs and options were very helpful in our decision-making. We were delighted with the hardwood flooring that Bruno helped us to choose, and we were equally delighted with the installation. Ronnie and his crew are expert installers; they are professional, skilled and courteous. It was a pleasure to work with Bruno, Ronnie and the crew, and to have them in our home. The job was completed on schedule (2 days), and the crew made sure we were satisfied before leaving. We are enjoying our new hardwoods and highly recommend Bertolli Floors to anyone with flooring needs. (Note: Bertolli Floors also installed a new tile fireplace surround in our family room, and just like the flooring, we were delighted with the the installation and with the finished product.)

Ronnie and the team were prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. The wood had been delivered a few days before installation. Ronnie was patient with all the questions we had. My wife wanted to be sure wood shading was spread evenly through the room, Ronnie and his men were on time and finished the job in one day. They did a great job cleaning up. They did not leave any thing behind, took old carpet, empty boxes the wood came in and then blew out garage where they sawed pieces. Bruno was very responsive, professional, friendly, patient, and flexible. This was helpful since I was nervous about such a large expensive project. Ron and his crew did a great job removing my old carpeting, parquet, a couple of layers of vinyl, and repairing the sub-floor where needed. It’s an older home and I needed virtually whole house flooring. The quality of the workmanship is great and the pricing made it possible to stay within a reasonable budget. I would recommend them to others, and would use them again.

Bruno Bertolli and his crew were fantastic! It was always easy to get in touch with Bruno throughout the entire process and he was super helpful in guiding us through it all. The installing team were professional & courteous and did an amazing job. They were able to install and stain the wood floors so that they perfectly matched the existing wood floors. The tile downstairs looks seamless and beautiful. The prices were also excellent for what we were doing. Would definitely use again and highly recommend!

Bruno and his crew were responsive and a real pleasure to work with during the entire process from sales to completion. His team takes pride in their work and they go above and beyond to ensure all the details are met. During the sales process, Bruno came out to provide an estimate and discuss the process. He walked through the timeline, steps, and answered all the questions we had. They worked with us to determine the best color for the floors and even provided us an recommendation that allowed us to save some money. They take full accountability for their work and the floors are gorgeous!

Unfortunately, this project did not go well. A job that was quoted for a 5 day installation took nearly 7 weeks to complete. Although Bruno is a professional, very friendly and seems willing to accommodate/deliver his promised service, we are not satisfied with the final product. Our tile is popping up, our floors are uneven and the grout work was not finished properly. We were mislead initially as to the type of floor we could have installed and the product we finally chose was still not installed to the specifications that were promised. Overall, very unhappy with this job and Bertolli Floors.

Bruno’s team installed tile, hardwood stairs, and carpet in my house. This is what I would consider to be a big job, and it totaled $8102.00. As with most big jobs, you can always expect some type of minor snag here and there, and Bertolli Floors were no different in that respect. But, what made this company stand out above other companies is there ‘sincere’ commitment to customer satisfaction! While there were some shortcomings, true enough, Bruno addressed each and every one as a true professional who cares about his character, and image. He didn’t make excuses or try to downplay, but instead he listened carefully and met our complaints with real solutions that made an indelible impact. Would I use this company again? Absolutely, unequivocally, YES!

All went very well. Bruno brought carpet samples and we selected the one we wanted. He gave us the nearby location of his supplier and we could then view a tremendous selection of tile. On the agreed day the crews appeared. One worked on carpet and the other on tile. At the end of the project Bruno inspected and all was in order.

Excellent! They showed up on time, were courteous and professional, and worked long hours to get the project done quickly. The finished product was as much as we could want from an installer. The cost of the project was reasonable and there was very little left over wood, so this tells me they know what they are doing when they give an estimate. They cleaned up after themselves and asked us to show them exactly where we wanted furniture replaced.

From the sales rep to the person who delivered the product to the installers, the professionalism was top drawer. EXCELLENT, in a word. The one and only thing I would suggest that they could have done was to advise that there would be an odor caused by the glue from installation and possible remedies.

I just replaced all my flooring with bamboo purchased at a hardware store. I had it installed by Bertolli Floors, 678-887-9955. Bruno Bertolli sent Ronny. I'm very happy with the work Ronny's crew did. It was a big job and the guys worked very hard and diligently. They worked overtime into the night and came back the next day for an hour or so to finish the two spare bedrooms. They worked very hard and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves too. The bamboo flooring looks great!

Professional and great to work with. They helped accommodate a tight schedule due to pending holiday family visit. Quality work, skilled and we are very pleased with result. They offered some good advice regarding installation tips as well. Highly recommend them.
