It was alright. I didn't go with them. I had two companies come in. The other company contradicted a lot of the things that Bertoli gave an estimate on.

Had several areas of hardwood floor damage, mainly scratches from a dog. After finding Bertolli floors on Angie's list, I called Bruno, and he came out to give me an estimate within a couple of days. I did get opinions/estimates from a couple of other companies, but I decided to go with Bertolli floors because of their responsiveness and professionalism. To be honest, the estimate from Bertolli floors was not the cheapest I got, but I really got the feeling that Bruno knew what he was talking about and could do the job well. Bruno was up front with me about the fact that some of the scratches were so deep that it may affect the staining in those areas. I decided to go ahead with the refinishing, and the results were better than I expected. Floor looks almost as good as new. They also installed new shoe molding, which looks great.

My husband and I could not be more pleased with the design and quality of workmanship in our new shower!! Bertolli Floors did a most impressive job with the design and installation of our new shower tiles. The design chosen for our shower was quite involved but the gentleman with Bertolli Floors worked diligently to ensure that are expectations were met. We very highly recommend Bertolli Floors!

Bruno and Daniel came to our home and brought several samples. Very professional. Measured room, gave us a very good quote. 2 men came following week, did an awesome job. What really impressed me was they totally cleaned up my bedroom. They dusted, swept as I explained I am highly allergic to dust. . Very happy with the job. No more sneezing and easy to clean floors.

After searching Angies List and other sights, I decided to have Barillo Floors do my job. Bruno showed up promptly to give me an estimate. Was very friendly and accommodating and we agreed upon a start date and what would be done. I had the job done in 2 sections since I was just moving in. The 3 bedrooms and hallway were done first and done well enough. My front rooms which were the living room and dining room had old linoleum that had to be scraped off before refinishing. I had scraped off at least 1/4 of the rooms with a scraper with success and was told by Bruno initially that is they way they would do it also. When I got home that night, the majority of the old tiles were gone but I noticed they sanded them instead of scraped. After the fact, it looked like they tried scraping first because I noticed gouges in the floor. Before the polyurethane was put on, I called Bruno to please come out to see the gouges. He said his guy did not cause the gouges, without seeing it for himself. I said ok, please fill them in as he would all other imperfections and sand as usual. It looks like the person who was doing the job tried to sand the gouges out which caused indentions in the floor. After I was able to walk on the floors when they had dried a day later, I noticed these multiple indentions. I immediately called Bruno again to please come out to look at the floors. He said his worker said the areas would darken in a few days and wouldn't be noticeable. They are very noticeable. I tried to have Bruno come out multiple times following that conversation to no avail. After a month, I was tired of waiting so I contacted another refinisher to fix the floors. In all of this time, I had not paid Bruno anything and was wondering why he wasn't at least calling for payment. I sent him a letter and payment for the floors that were done properly and deducted from the total owed, what it cost me to redo their sloppy job. Bruno finally called when he got my letter and said he wanted to repair the floors. I declined the offer and asked if he was going to accept the payment as paid in full. He said he was. The check is cashed, the story is over and I would not recommend his company to anyone (a friend was actually days from having them do a job) because of the "dropping the ball" for over a month.

My floors look great! Bertolli Floors has a good selection of engineered hardwood and the installation was expertly done by Ronny and his team. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently and was polite. I would definitely hire Bertolli Floors again, awesome job guys!

It went great. They were prompt, very polite and very professional. They gave me a very thorough report but I just haven't had a chance to do it. I got another estimate that was cheaper.

The Bertolli's arrived on time for our estimate. I liked them from the start, but took 3 other estimates from other contractors also recommended on Angies. All of the estimates were in the same price range. Another owner in my bldg had used Bertolli and I saw the work they did in his place and that sealed the deal. They set up a time to deliver the hardwood and delivered on time. One week later, they arrived on time for the install and although the Bertolli's themselves weren't part of the install, the foreman that took care of it all was professional and courteous. I didn't think they could do the whole thing (move furniture, remove carpet and install) in only about 7 hours, but they did. We have a 6pm cutoff in our bldg for home repair and they were wrapping up at 5:55pm. I kinda wish they had more time because they were rushing to get done. Otherwise it went fine. The floors look fabulous. Their price was competitive and I recommended to another friend who also used them and I rec'd a referral bonus. (Nice touch!) If you want good floors, fast install and professional service and followup, go with Bertolli.

Overall, I had a very good experience with Bertolli. They were able to come out for an estimate very quickly, and provided a written estimate on the spot. I had received an estimate over a year earlier but had to postpone the work. They honored the original estimate, but returned to make sure they had not missed anything. They gave me all the information I needed to make informed choices about my stain choice, and I felt very comfortable going into the project. They arrived on time for every stage of the process and I was very happy with the quality of the work I was seeing. The only small bit of feedback I might give them is that a little more communication during the project about when or whether I should expect them the next day would have been helpful. Given the weather and the drying process, I just wasn't comfortable assuming anything. I wasn't able to be at home when they wrapped up every day and a proactive email or phone call would have been helpful. That said, when I did reach out, they were pretty responsive even after hours. Overall a positive experience and I would definitely use them again.

I am very pleased with the professionalism and great work that Bertolli Floors did on my floors. It first started with a free consultation at my home by Bruno and Phillp. They answered all of my questions and provided an accurate quote during the same visit. On the day the installers arrived at my home, they were on time and ready to work. The supervisor Ronny and crew knew exactly what to do as they broke up into teams and began tearing up old wood flooring and carpeting and installing the new wood flooring (and some carpeting), what a great team!!!. The best part is they were very professional as they cleaned up behind themselves, properly disposed of trash and all with a great attitude. I grade hard when it comes to customer service and I highly recommend Bertolli Floors for your flooring needs. I did my research before I hired them, and I can see why they come so highly recommended.

Bertolli was less expensive, They delivered the flooring to our house days in advance so that the wood could "season to our home and our particular temperature settings. The Bertolli team, headed by Ronny was prompt. We were told 8:00AM and the door bell rang at 8:00AM. Durning the installation, Bertolli's team used 3 to 1 more nails than the other company. The floors are seamless with no gaps between the floor boards. You don't even want to know what the first installer left behind. The Bertolli team took great pride in their work. When they were finished, Ronny brought us in to see the flooring and announced: "Now these are Bertolli floors." We will use Bertolli Floors for the next stage of flooring for our house.

The stair subcontractors did an excellent job with removal and reinstallation of the new treads, handrails, and iron balusters. They were very professional, courteous, and skilled at their work. The paint job done by Bertolli's paint crew on the trimmed fronts of the steps was not the quality I expected due to limited prepping of the surface. The floor installation itself was initially excellent. Floors were level and beautiful. Unfortunately, after the three steps of the sanding process many ripples and much waviness was left in the floor. It is extremely uneven. Bruno came back and agreed it was not as it should be but the resanding, refinishing did not resolve the issue. The reason given after the second time was that the subfloor was the problem; however, this was not mentioned as a concern before installation nor was the floor uneven when it was first installed. The final appearance is not what I would have expected for the high price we paid!

They were terrific! They were prompt for the estimate, which was reasonable. They were on time to perform the work, did a wonderful job, moved all of the (heavy!) furniture out and back and cleaned up afterward. They were very professional and the floor looks great!

We chose this company to do the work. We had four estimates and they were very competitive. They weren?t the absolute lowest but they are right near there. They were very thorough and the fellow came back a second time because so we could see the carpet and to make sure we had everything in order.

Of course after they left, I had other questions, so I contacted them by email. I must say these guys are THE MOST RESPONSIVE contractors I have EVER used. They answered my questions promptly and completely, not only before the job started, but during the job and after the job was completed. These guys KNOW customer service. I had some other remodeling work that had to be completed before the floors were installed. Bertolli worked with me to meet my schedule. On the first day of the installation, the whole crew showed up. The lead guy, Ronnie, explained what they would be doing and gave me his cell # in case I had questions for him; he also said if I have ANY questions or concerns during the installation to please let him know. Once the installation started, they moved along at a good pace. The crew wasn't hanging out and being chit-chatty -- everyone one the crew was working hard to get the job done, and done right. In our foyer, they had to remove tile and a concrete subfloor, which they did with ease. They also had to remove the existing particle board, and then lay down additional plywood for the subfloor so the hardwood had a sufficient underlayment. (This is where your homework pays off -- I had one company out that said it would be okay to nail the hardwood into my existing particle board, which is totally incorrect). About a week later, everything was complete including staining and polyurethane on the floors. During the sanding process, they protected doorway openings to other parts of the house to minimize the dust. I was really impressed -- hardly any dust from the sanding. Once complete, our floors looked GORGEOUS. We were so thrilled, they totally changed the character of our house, exactly what we wanted. Now, it couldn't all be perfect, because that's just the nature of EVERY remodeling job. So, there were a few minor things we weren't happy about on the stairway. I contacted Bruno and Phillip, once again very responsive, and at one point they both came out to see the issue, which I really appreciated. They saw, they understood, and they made arrangements to take care of the problem. A few days later, problem solved and it was PERFECT. To me, this is the greatest test of a company -- how responsive they are to correcting problems, and these guys were the BEST. So, in conclusion, my initial instinct after meeting these guys during the sales call was correct: they are professional, service-oriented and do GREAT work. I would recommend and use the Bertolli again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I purchased a home built in the 1950's with original hardwood floors. Bertolli Floors came the next day after we called for a free estimate. They were professional and very thorough, looking in places I forgot to tell them about and making sure every surface was included. They worked up the estimate in 10 minutes and had a printed copy, one including a room we weren't sure about and one without so we could compare. When we called to hire them, they were in the home the SAME DAY repairing the areas to be ready for sanding the next day. A gentleman came that evening to stain a small area of the floor to show us colors we were interested in so we could make a more informed decision. Before I knew it, they were done. Bertolli Floors had sealed floors with 4 coats of sealant in order to protect the floors, even though I only paid for 3, and they even buffed the one room that we didnt have done. Two transitions were placed and one was even stained darker to match the floors that weren't done by Bertolli. The Bertolli brothers are VERY good at what they do and our floors look brand new. The repairs blend right in and look like the original floors. My husband and I are so impressed and we will definately be using them again for any floor needs. The crew cleaned up after themselves and locked up every time they left. We will be recommending this company to all our friends!

Ronny and team of (2) arrived on schedule to remove old particle board subfloor, install flooring within one 9+ hour day. All scrap wood and trash was removed by the team upon finishing the job..

They arrived on time to start the job. They moved furniture from the areas to be sanded for no additional charge. After the floors had been refinished they returned and moved the furniture back for me. I was afraid that it would be difficult to match the new flooring with the existing hardwood floor but they did a very good job. There were a couple of places I noticed that needed to be touched up. I called them and they came and fixed it with no problems, I was very happy with their service.

They are an excellent company and they were extremely responsive. They came out when they said they were going to. The guy that came out was one of the owners, I guess. They have an extremely nice store and they have a real wide selection of material to pick from. I found them to be very flexible. We were thinking about putting hardwood floors down but we changed our mind after a certain amount of time and decided to go with carpeting because it was too much work to put the hardwood in. He was extremely helpful. We went back to the store a second time and picked up carpeting. It is going to be installed next Monday. We are very happy with them. They are not the cheapest place in town but their service is excellent. You can always get a cheaper deal in terms of carpets because we live in the middle of carpet land here. The price wasn?t really the issue for us - they were comparable to other companies.

They were prompt and professional. They were excellent service people and they gave me a discount for being an AL member and a senior. The general service was excellent in every way and I very am pleased. The pricing and estimates were fair as well.

It was a difficult job as the floor is not level and there was a problem with providing clearance for the deck door to clear the increased floor height (the oak is 3/4" and the old sheet vinyl was only about 1/8"). They handled the job very well by shimming and grinding the subfloor to make the floor more level and providing the necessary door clearance. The result is beautiful.

Bruno is superb at communication! whether by email or by phone. I asked him a million questions before settling on my choices for the floors and he never once showed any sign of annoyance!! He answered all my questions promptly and sufficiently. I didn't give him much of an advanced notice of when I needed the work to be done in order to meet my move-in deadline due to my misunderstanding the length of time he would need to finish all the work, but he still accomodated my timeline in spite of the short notice. Each crew that was here was punctual, worked through until their job was complete and they all cleaned up before they left the site!! They never wasted any time at all. I am so thankful that at least one company didn't give me a hassle to come to work when they said they would and finished the job when they said they would!! It is a headache to remodel to say the least, but if every company was like Bertolli Floors there would be no hassles and no headaches!!
