In early October, 2013, Bennett delivered our piano back to us, and in the process they dropped it. They damaged the piano, the piano bench, a harp sitting nearby, and of course our new hardwood floor. They took the piano bench with them to have it repaired. I called them several weeks later to see how this was going, and what they intended to do about the other items, and they were very curt with me. More time passed, and I wrote them a letter asking for information and for them to contact us. No reply. I sent them a message via the contact form on their website (they do not have an email address), and received a voice mail promising me a call back the next day. They never did call back. I sent two more messages via their contact form. No reply. They did deliver the piano bench to us -- they put it on our front porch in late December, sitting outside in the weather. They did not give us any notification they were going to deliver it to us, so I'm not sure how long it sat there (we don't normally use our front door). The quality of repairs on the bench were horrible, and I had to take it to a furniture refinisher to have it restored to a normal condition. The Better Business Bureau has assigned an "F" grading to this company. We are now in the process of paying for repairs out our own pockets, and we may initiate legal action against Bennett when all of the repairs have been completed.
Description of Work: Bennett picked up our baby grand piano and stored it while we had new hardwood floors installed, then delivered it back to us.

Horrible experience
Description of Work: Scheduled to have them move a piano within my home. They promised they would arrive between 8-8:30 am. Had my decorator come over, scheduled a half day at work. The never showed up. I called no less than 10 times. Absolutely unprofessional.

Response from Bennett Piano Moving
I'm very sorry that the Member had a bad experience with a moving company in Atlanta. I'm also very sorry, if for some reason there was a communication breakdown on our part...we are an Atlanta Company not Tennessee. We've been moving pianos since 1978 and we definitely didn't intentionally not show up for a scheduled appointment. We sincerely apologize for any errors in communication.
