I have to put in footings and add four posts to support the addition. The ceiling is not vaulted as I requested. I have to have the ceiling rebuilt and walls better supported to hold the ceiling. All of the rotten wood was not replaced on the back wall per scope. In fact it was knowingly covered up with new siding. I have to complete the rotten wall. This should have been done during demo. The existing French doors were not removed as agreed so the rotten wood could be replaced and the doors installed correctly. crew left with doors wide open. The doors would not shut and cliff worked in to the night to get the doors shut and to secure the house. No one was on site checking the delivery of materials, consequently a damaged window was delivered and had to be replaced. New French doors did not have door handles and locks, or holes drilled to hold doors shut. Contractor should not have left the doors with no handles or locks and house unsecured. A section of deck railing was not replaced leaving a dangerous opening in the deck railing on second story deck. No railing materials were salvaged. I have to hire someone to build the missing railing ASAP as it is very dangerous. The wrong trim was used around the doors and windows and it does not match the rest of the house. A sample of acceptable brick molding was delivered to the site but that type of brick molding was not used. I have to buy brick molding and hire someone to install it. The correct brick molding will result in a gap between the doors/windows and the siding. The siding will have to be replaced. Where the old siding meets the new Siding on the side of the house the wood trim piece that is too small was used and looks very sloppy. . The type of windows used do not fit in the wall the same way the rest of the windows in the house do. Cliff shopped early this morning for more appropriate windows while the framers installed siding on site. There was no work delay. No invoices provided to support roofing labor or material cost Excess materials with a value of hundreds of dollars were returned. I was not offered the compensation for these materials. Extra trips for supplies were a result of miscalculations lack of site management and damages from crew.
