When I called I was told $ 25.00 per door and $19.99 for service call. I explained I wanted all keyed alike and asked if technician would have inventory to change. I was told yes andante a 4:30pm appointment and technician arrived at 6:15pm. He used a grade 2 deadbolt and handset combo called max tech. After keying alike, finishing the job, he presented a bill for $1119.00. I was upset because I knew the product he used is about the lowest grade. Unexpected to pay more for install and keying alike that the phone quote but the hardware retails for less than $25.00 for the combo. After talking to a manager named Michael over the phone, he reduced the bill to $865. Then said my next job I will get 50% off. Perhaps people think folks are foolish but there isn't a chance I can use someone like this ever again. This was perhaps the biggest rip-off of work I have ever seen. The technician was a nice person, although very late to appointment, but I thought it odd to pay him directly and in his name. The company invoice has very limited information and no address. BUYER BEWARE!! There is something not right with this service. For the money I was charged, the locks should have been of the highest quality hardware and high end installations. The company manager knew I was being over charged and took 25% off the original amount and the bill was still at least 600 above what it should have!! I caution anyone to get quotes in writing!! That was my mistake for trusting the phone quote.
