ATLANTA FURNITURE RESTORATION

This was my 3rd time using Atlanta Furniture Restoration. Al Endel has always taken the time to explain what is involved with each piece of furniture I've brought in to be repaired or refinished. My first experience with Al was bringing in chairs that needed the seats "recaned"-they were made in the 1970's and were reproductions of chairs from the 1900's. Al explained to me why the caning failed on the chairs and said he could repair them. I was truly pleased with the finished product. Al matched the original cane and finish perfectly to the backs of the chairs which did not need caning. My most recent visit to Al was to have a maple chair frame restored/refinished and to have my greatgrandmother's chair restored/rebuilt/refinished. I really thought my greatgrandmothers' chair from 1948 was "a lost cause". Al inspected the chair and said he could restore it. Al took pictures of this chair in different stages of the restoration-it was labor intensive.The chair is now a "work of Art"! It sits beautifuly and no longer creaks and groans if you were to sit in it. Both the maple chair and my greatgrandmothers' chair are now to be passed down to my children and grandchildren. Atlanta Furniture Restoration takes the time to refinish and restore your furniture correctly!! I've used other restoration places in the past and have had the furniture fall apart after limited use/or the finish starts rubbing off. This has never happened with Al's restoration work. I do recommend Atlanta Furniture restoration for quality workmanship.
