I found a beautiful, old, neglected sofa in my parents basement and fell in love with it. It was horse hair cushions covered in yellowish velvet that had seen better days. The back was completely tufted with velvet covered buttons. I found Olivia on Angie's list and called her. She came to the house the same day with fabric samples. When we decided on the fabric, her husband loaded up the sofa and away they went. I received photos of the progress, and two weeks later my beautiful sofa was delivered to my door in beautiful clean white velvet with every button tuft in place. They even repaired the broken leg and refinished the wood. It. Is. Beautiful!!! And they refinished and recovered an antique desk chair. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Mrs. Russell of Atlanta Craftsman Interiors asked us to send her a photo of the sofa that we wanted reupholstered and details about what types and colors of fabric that we were interested in. She got back to us the same day with a ballpark estimate and asked if that price range for the service would work for us. We said yes. She came to our home and brought fabric samples. We selected a fabric and requested that the design of the sofa's arms be tweaked and that the back cushions be firmer. She gave us a price. We agreed to the price. Then her husband and another worker came in a got the sofa then & there---no need to schedule an second visit for pick up. Two weeks and two days later they brought our sofa back. It is beautiful!

I found Atlanta Craftsman Interiors on Angie's list and called them. Olivia called me back immediately. I sent her pictures and she quickly sent me a quote. Olivia spoke with me about what kind of fabric I was looking for but she also brought additional fabric samples based on my room colors. She was on my side of town, so she brought the samples and picked up the stools the very same day! They delivered them back to me the very next week and they look fantastic! I am so happy with the quality of there work but even more with the professionalism and speed. The delivery and pick up and in home fabric service is worth every penny to me! Olivia and her husband showed up within an hour of calling them. I am handicapped, and they were concerned I would be without my favorite chair. So they completed the work in 3 days. They did a great job. It sits like new again. And they were so much fun to work with I abandoned my usual practice of getting multiple bids. In fact, we we so pleased once the chair was delivered we asked them to repair another club chair. Great job, Great people!

Olivia contacted me immediately to set up a time to inspect furniture and view fabric options. It was an easy and seamless process for me due to Olivia's willingness to come to my house. In less than a week, the project was finished. And the chair seats no longer sag.

Olivia got in touch with me immediately when I left a message and she came to the house the next day bringing loads of fabric samples. She helped me chose the best fabric and she took the furniture with her. She brought back the furniture today - less than a week from when she picked it up. And it is beautiful! I'm surprised at how good it looks, they really did an excellent job. I'm unfamiliar with the cost of reupholstery, so I thought it was a little expensive - but the quality is there, as is the service - so it was worth it. Can't say enough about Olivia - professional, punctual, and really nice! Great experience all around.

Atlanta Craftsman Interior reupholstered my husband's bachelor pad sofa and armchair into something that is updated, sophisticated yet pet and child-friendly. Olivia came to my place prepared: she was loaded with sample books and helped me narrow down my choices and talked me through the virtues of various materials and price points. This part of the process alone was greatly appreciated! Her husband waited downstairs in the van and took my furniture away with them after the consultation. I am actually in the process of selling my condo and moving into my house after a major renovation. Atlanta Craftsman Interior conveniently picked up from my condo but will deliver to my house, and is helping me by storing it briefly if the house is not yet available. A huge help! Another upholstery place I considered said they would have to charge me for storage. When I went to see the progress of the pieces, I was overjoyed and had to hug Olivia. My husband saw the photos and he was impressed. It turned out that my two 20-year-old pieces with sentimental value being reupholstered was cheaper and environmentally responsible than getting ONE brand-new sofa from Crate and Barrel. I highly recommend Atlanta Craftsman...you won't be able to resist giving Olivia and hug when you see your furniture!

I contacted designer/buyer Olivia Russell to have new seat cushions made. We made an appointment to meet at her shop so I could select the fabric. Olivia also has a website so you can make your selection online if you prefer. At our meeting, she showed me a number of fabrics and I made my selection. I also decided to have matching pillows made. Olivia gave me an estimate for the date of completion and notified me when the cushions were ready. She actually had them ready earlier than promised. The cushions and pillows are beautiful and well-made.

It was wonderful, fast, and easy. I am very well pleased.

I found Atlanta Craftsman Interiors on Angie's List after searching for a reputable person to reupholster a living room chair. I reached out to a number of local companies, but none of them returned my e-mails. I emailed Olivia at Atlanta Craftsman Interiors and asked if I could send a photo of the chair and get an estimate. She replied to me almost immediately and said to send the photo. I did, and she sent me an estimate very quickly.. She offered to reupholster the chair with our fabric for $225. The price was very reasonable, and because she had an A rating on Angie's List, we opted to use her. I drove to her location and dropped off the chair and fabric, and she indicated it would take about two weeks to complete. Her partner unloaded the chair for me from the back of my SUV. In less than two weeks, Olivia called back to let me know the chair was ready. She also asked if we wanted it stain protected as the fabric was not treated. I had forgotten to ask about that, so we asked to have that added, and she was able to have it done quickly. I picked the chair up the next day, and my wife could not be happier with the results. I think the best part of this experience is that we now have a person who can handle all of our upholstery needs. I would not hesitate to recommend Atlanta Craftsman Interiors for any reupholstery or drapery work. Olivia does excellent work, communicates quickly (so many vendors do NOT respond to e-mails), and works efficiently. Don't hesitate! Pick Olivia and drop your furniture off to get it reupholstered. Olivia and James Russell gave us excellent advice on what needed to be done to reupholster the chairs. They had a wide selection of fabrics from which to choose. We were fortunate in that the Russells were able to accommodate our time schedule for when we needed the chairs and they exceeded our expectations by delivering them much quicker than expected. The chairs looked better than they did when new. In addition to reinforcing and reupholstering, they also cleaned the wooden backs. We are very pleased with the end result and would use them again.

Came promptly at the agreed on time. Took measurements for the bedspread, asked appropriate questions about exactly what I wanted even though I wasn't exactly articulate about my expectations. Olivia and her husband were quick, efficient and had a right on estimate in writing on the spot. They put the spread on the bed for me . It was exactly as I had envisioned it. Their craftsmanship is impeccable. Even though they may seem a bit pricey they truly do custom work and I am willing to pay for it. This is my second time of using them and I don't think I would go to anyone else.

I moved to Atlanta from Texas and saw an antique sofa I feel in love with advertised in the Atlanta area. I was corresponding with another upholstery company in Snellville about reupholstering the sofa to give it a modern touch. I had made arrangements to pick up the sofa after we offloaded the truck with our household belongings to drop it off at this company right afterwards. The communication with this company was good at first but as the move drew near they were not great at getting back with me when I left messages. Needless to say, I had told this company I would only have the moving truck for one more day and would like to drop off my sofa to them before I was made to return the truck. I left messages and called all morning to confirm the drop off, picked up sofa and received no response... I have a moving truck with a sofa in the back and now no where to take it....what am I to do?! I contacted Angie's List and had to essentially pick someone right then and there. After a listing was sent of around 5 upholstery shops that were a little closer to home I saw the rave reviews of Atlanta Craftsman Interiors. I was a little skeptical based off my last experience but when I met Olivia and her husband I knew I was at the right place. I showed her a pic of my vision and she showed me swatches of different versions of the gray I was looking for. I was a little scared to pick someone without a little more research since it was not a cheap purchase but I want with my gut. They executed EXACTLY what I wanted. I actually think it looks better than the photo I gave them. Impressed, satisfied and happy. I will be back for accent pillows...no doubt. If you choose Atlanta Craftsman Interiors you will not be disappointed.

I got them through Angie's list and I love them. They did outstanding work and turned it around in a really quick time. They are very professional and a pleasure to work with. They do both small and big jobs. In fact right now they are doing a $30 job for me. They are one of the best companies I have ever worked with. They are worth every penny.

Olivia is the person I spoke with during the entire process. She had beautiful sample materials to choose from; but I already had my material and she was very okay with that. She picked up my chair from storage on a set date. Then 3 weeks later I had a brand new chair. No fuss, No muss. I am the proud owner of an antique sofa once owned by my favorite aunt. It sported that '50's lime green upholstery and a broken leg. Besides the sentimental value, given the age of the sofa it was of the best quality construction. Therefore, I was very particular as to who I was going to entrust my sofa so I turned to Angie's List and found Atlanta Craftsman Interiors! Olivia was a wonderful person with whom to do business! I had chosen the fabric, but when we met she also brought several other choices, in varying price ranges, so that I could make the best choice. She answered all of my questions regarding quality and durability. When my sofa came back it was absolutely perfect in every way!

It was a poor service. It was overpriced. I had them back one time. They didn't put the material back together just right. They didn't seem like they were interested. I told them it wasn't level and they said it was. They gave me one price then charged extra for some extra padding. I don't even think that I got the extra padding. I'm not sure that they're qualified to do the work. It was so sloppy. I don't want to give it back to them to work on again. They were rated A when I looked them up but the depth of the number of recommendations wasn't that great. I think it was about 20 or so. They could easily have put in that many recommendations themselves. Update 6/10/14: This company reupholstered the chair at their cost to my approval. I did update the rating.

Couch looks great It is comfortable Time frame as stated A little pricey but the couch had family history so I went ahead with it

Excellent. Came with samples that were to our specifications, on time, took chair and ottoman with them at the first meeting and within a few weeks, less than a month, the chair and ottoman were returned recovered and restored. I cannot say enough positive about this firm. They were simply the best. They are professional, friendly, know their business and an absolute joy to work with. I would recommend Olivia and her team, hands down, and I don't do reviews ever. She and the Atlanta Craftman Interiors team are just wonderful to work with.

I had a mid-century modern chair which had been living in my basement for years. Although it was not worn, the fabric had mildewed and looked generally scuzzy. I called to get an estimate to have the chair completely redone - new stuffing and upholstery. I wanted it to look just as it had when new, but in a different fabric. When I called Olivia answered and made an appointment to visit me with fabric samples. She also referred me to her website where I could choose fabrics which appealed to me so that she would have an idea of my taste. She requested a picture of the chair in its current state. She arrived punctually for our appointment and brought oodles of fabric samples. She gave me firm prices using different materials and we agreed, in writing, on a fabric and price. Away she and her crew went with the chair. It was to be completed and delivered in 2-3 weeks. True to her word, the chair was delivered in 3 weeks - no extra time for the terrible weather we had experienced. I am VERY pleased with the work and the fabric quality. I could not have asked for more. I plan to call her for at least one more project, and will happily recommend her services to friends.
