Olivia is the consummate professional. She helped me choose fabric offering an opinion and ideas only when I asked. I immediately trusted her and the men who removed my sofa and chair. Just received everything back an hour ago and am so, so pleased. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Olivia's husband, Anthony, who is the upholsterer, came with her to inspect the entire process. Lovely couple and competent in every way. I enthusiastically recommend them. In the past I have worked with other upholsterers, some of whom were disasters. The overall experience was positive, from start to finish. Olivia was responsive to my emails. They worked with my schedule to arrange convenient pick up and drop off times and ran right on schedule. The turnaround time was quick and the quality of the work superior. I only give a B for the price because the cost is not a bargain, but the expense is worth the high quality and fine detail Olivia and her team provide. We will absolutely use them again in the future for any reupholstery needs.

Olivia came out with a large selection of fabrics and took the time for me to select the fabric in my home, which was a big plus for me. I booked several weeks in advance when I would be on vacation so I would only be without my couch a limited amount of time. Because my couches were the same size, they were able to only have to take one in to make the slipcovers. Olivia's husband came out for the pick up and delivery to make sure it was done correctly, which was also important to me as I live in a high rise that is very strict with their delivery rules. When the couches were delivered, he took the time to show me how to put the covers on correctly. My couches are Hendon with a lot of cording and a pleated skirt and they were basically new, but I wanted a different look for summer. They matched the frame and detail work perfectly! Fantastic detail work. I had a small hole in the fabric of one of the original cushions and they did a great job repairing that for me. Because slipcovers are a different look from upholstery, after a few days I decided I wanted a tighter look on my loose cushions and Olivia immediately offered to pick them up and alter them for me. I really appreciate that kind of service. Their work is excellent, they do a first rate, beautiful job, and they stand behind their services. It doesn't get any better than that.

My experience with Atlanta Craftsman Interiors went extremely well, we couldn't be happier. The chairs are considered to be the size of a chair and a half along with a matching ottoman for each. When I first contacted Ms. Russell she instructed me to send her a picture of the items and she would provide me with an estimate. She quickly responded and after we agreed on the price she arrived the next day to help me select fabric and pick up the items. While she was at our home I also inquired about our leather ottoman that was ripped at a corner seam and her husband stated he would try to repair it on site when they returned the chairs. If it could not be repaired on site he would have to take it in to the shop to be repaired. 4/11/2016 - My chairs arrived today and the quality of their work is exceptional and their attention to detail is wonderful, they even added additional piping around the back edges of the chairs that weren't there before and it looks great. In fact, the chairs look better than when we originally purchased them. They were even able to repair the leather ottoman prior to leaving our home. If you're looking to have any reupholstering performed Atlanta Craftsman Interiors should be the only call you make, I'm certainly glad I did. I had a great experience with Atlanta Craftsman Interiors. I sent photos of the chair and received a swift response with a quote as well as the amount of material i needed. The chair was picked up for free for Angie's List members. It took three weeks (quoted 2-3 weeks) and was delivered back to my house. I was super pleased with the work. They managed to use two different fabrics in a way that i had not even thought of. my husband will be so happy to see his grandma's chair given a new life!

Terrible! I asked if I could get my leather sofa patched up and she said no you don' t understand we have to take apart the entire sofa and it requires a lot of work. Again I asked the same question and was given the same response you don' understand blah blah blah!! She seemed to be getting rather impatient on top of that! I would avoid this place altogether!

It looked like nothing had ever happened to this sentimental piece of furniture. I was so thankful to have it back in such great condition. Olivia and her husband are talented, reliable professionals. I will definitely use them again!

Olivia was extremely responsive from the beginning of my contact with her. The prices for the work are not the least expensive you might be able to find, but they are within the range of quotes I received. Further, the quality of the work, the responsiveness, and the expertise are well worth the price paid. The two chairs turned out beautifully, and I am extremely pleased with the finished product. I am already using Olivia and her husband to reupholster another piece in our home, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any job.

This chest was given to my wife by her grandmother. We didn't know what we had so after five plus moves and storing everything but what should have been stored, we finally googled Ed Roos and became aware that we had a gem. We called Atlanta Craftsman (Olivia) and they were responsive, confident, knowledgeable and truthful. They weren't the most expensive or the least expensive but there was something about their process. We quickly made the decision to go with them. They told us it would take over a month and they delivered a piece that we immediately placed in our bedroom. It had recently been in our basement in a corner of a storage area. It needed a lot of work but we now enjoy a family piece that we'll gladly pass on to one of our children.

When I contacted Olivia she was very responsive and came out the next day with fabric samples for us to choose. We had 3 pieces of leather furniture that had been destroyed by overzelous pups. We needed to have the sofa, loveseat and large chair completely redone. They were returned in a very timely fashion and we are most pleased with the results. They look like new furniture. Much more attractive that pieces we saw at the various furniture stores. After she returned the furniture to us, I gave her a chair that the wood had been chewed on for them to work their magic on. She also has a nice sense of humor. We thought to have them make arm covers for all of the pieces. But, I didn't give fore thought to having a cover for the back sides and for a throw to stay on the couch to minimize the dog hair. When I called Oliva to see if they could make those and she is coming out tomorrow to take measurements and I will feel much better about having the pups on the furniture.

I called the proprietor, Olivia Russell, and was immediately impressed by how she was able to figure out the color scheme and the types of fabric that I wanted to reupholster my furniture. She arrived promptly with many books of fabrics, made suggestions, and I was able to make an informed decision. She asked for one-half the total amount up front, which was fine. A few weeks later, she called me and suggested that since I had expressed some concerns that my dogs might prematurely soil and wear out my beautiful new couch fabric, she could also make a form-fitting slipcover. This was the most brilliant idea that I have heard in years! So, she added the slipcover to my order. When I want to remove the slipcover, all I have to do is unzip it, and it comes off easily. Because of Olivia's skill, that beat up 50-year old couch became a thing of true beauty. In addition, I had her restore an antique wooden Korean chest which had been damaged by water. Olivia's husband was able to completely refinish the outside and polished up the brass fixtures. I cannot remember any time when this lovely old piece looked so elegant. Similarly, I was very pleased with how my old love seat and easy chair were transformed into pieces that are both more functional and elegant. Because of Olivia, I chose a very hard-wearing fabric, which is much like ultra-suede for my love seat and easy chair, which would be "dog proof." Unless my house catches fire and everything is destroyed, I don't ever plan on buying new furniture again. Restoring old furniture is much more satisfying than buying new stuff: You're not throwing out cherished memories, your new stuff can look as nice (if not better) than it ever did, plus, restoration is far more economical. So if you have old pieces that look tired, contact Olivia. She can work miracles.

The outcome of all this work was nothing less than superb. Even though these pieces were originally purchased 50 years ago and the furniture looked tired and thread bare, Atlanta Craftsmen was able to give all my furniture a lovely, fresh look for reasonable cost. In fact, many of the pieces never looked so nice as they do now. Also, I want to add that I have two little, active dogs who love to climb up on the long couch, and I was concerned that if I chose a fabric which was too delicate for my dogs, the fabric would suffer. Olivia suggested that she also make a slip cover that would form fit the slipcover the couch, which was made of heavy-duty cotton. When I want to remove the slipcover, all I have to do is unzip it. This was a brilliant idea! Now, the dogs can freely climb up on the couch, and I don't have to worry about the lovely fabric underneath becoming soiled or prematurely worn. Don't even think about buying new furniture again. Restore your old furniture. You'll have beautiful pieces at a fraction of the new stuff. Atlanta Craftsman Interiors is as good as it gets!

Utterly fantastic job! High quality fabric replaced dated white faded fabric.Olivia painted legs so sofa looks BRAND NEW. Job was completed in a timely fashion; staff picked up and delivered sofa. My guests and I have been enjoying the sofa immensely. I would recommend Olivia to anyone looking for quality upholstering. Her work is not cheap but exemplifies fine quality.

Olivia was fantastic. She responded quickly with a solid estimate, came out with an excellent selection of fabrics based on my input, offered good advice, and was ready to take the furniture that day. Atlanta Craftsman delivered the re-done sofas in the promised time frame,and they look wonderful. They are nicely sewn with high-quality workmanship, and I am happy that my old but well-crafted sofas will have a new (and hopefully long) life.

Olivia was very professional and responsive. She and her team were on time with pick-up and on schedule as far as completion/delivery, as promised. Olivia and Jim were a pleasure to work with and did an absolutely beautiful job on the two wing chairs they reupholstered and the 6 pillows they made out of the same fabric. The pattern of the fabric was large and they did a perfect job of matching both chairs. They picked up and delivered the chairs. I will be recommending them to friends and neighbors and wouldn't hesitate to call them for any future needs.

Olivia was very responsive from the first inquiry through to delivery to my house. She gave me a speedy quote when I sent her pictures of my four chairs. I preferred to buy my own fabric, so she gave me the amount needed for the job. She picked up the chairs and delivered them promptly at the times scheduled. She also suggested stain repellent on them since they are to be used in the dining room which was a great idea. I will gladly use her company again for upholstering needs and suggest her to my friends.

I contacted Olivia on a Wednesday afternoon about constructing neutral slipcovers for a red leather upholstered chaise w/back cushion and bolster pillow. Olivia came out the next morning with loads of fabric samples in hand and helped me pick the perfect fabric and color to coordinate with my other furnishings and colors in my home. We picked a beautiful 'ultra suede/microfiber' in a gorgeous camel/beige neutral. She quoted a price on which we agreed (the price was in line with my expectations), took my chaise w/cushion and bolster pillow and said 'give me three weeks'. I was nervous about how the slipcovers would look, not having seen it done - but Olivia had sent me pics of her other work, and it was beautiful, so I was comfortable in her ability to 'make it work'. In less than a week and a half (with a holiday included), Olivia called and said 'we're ready to deliver'! (Olivia obviously believes in the philosophy 'under-promise and over-deliver'). I was thrilled, but still nervous..... Well: NOW I AM LOOKING FOR OTHER PIECES I CAN HAVE ATLANTA CRAFTSMAN WORK FOR ME! Olivia's workmanship is absolutely superb, and the slipcovers on the chaise/cushion/bolster do not look like slipcovers - the piece looks like a brand new chaise upholstered in rich suede with matching back cushion and bolster! And I still have the flexibility of easily removing the neutral slipcovers via cleverly hidden zippers to show the pop of red leather when I want (during cooler months when I want to 'warm things up a bit'!). I cannot say enough good things about the beauty and expert workmanship in Olivia's work - except that I will never call anyone else to do upholstery work for me; and I cannot stop looking at my 'new' chaise! Atlanta Craftsman doesn't just 'make it work' - Atlanta Craftsman makes it EXTRAORDINARY!!!!
