AMERICAN ROOF WORKS

Neigbhors had roofs replaced by insurance companies due to recent hail storm. Our adjuster didn't find enough damage, but Jim from American insisted the adjuster was wrong, convincing us we needed a new roof. Contacted ins agent again for 2nd opinion by a local adjuster. Jim promised he'd be here for appt & would bring a roof-walker for the inspection. 3 adjusters arrived on time, but Jim never showed up or called. We tried his number several times with no response. Interestingly enough, he called another of our neighbors later that day to set up an appointment with them, but we still haven't heard from him. The adjusters agreed w/the orig. adjuster's opinion that a new roof was not needed. Because we counted on Jim to be our advocate in this situation, we were left with no option or argument. If we'd known, we would have hired an independent inspector for our own peace of mind & will now have to do so. Meanwhile, we will warn our neighbors & friends against using American Roof Works.
