The team from American Landscaping Crew was timely, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. The quality of their work was exceptional - I would recommend them and definitely use them again.

Robert & his crew were the hardest working group of men I have ever encountered. Robert made sure to walk us through every step of the project. If a problem arouse, he came to us for guidance before making any decisions. The end product was a beautiful, high quality landscape we had envisioned. I cannot recommended this company enough.

It all went very smoothly. They were very friendly and easy to contact. We have enjoyed the work that they completed.

Very well! There was a little unnecessary back and forth on getting the quote right. There were a few things installed differently than what was planned, but it's okay. Overall, I was very pleased with the work. They completed the job in about 1/2 day. Their employees work very hard!

They were timely in arriving for appointments. They were excellent in communicating. We are very pleased with the design and implementation and feel we got a good value. We have other work to be performed and plan to use them again.

The experience was excellent. The project estimator was professional and helpful. The project designer, job foreman and the laborers were top rate and communicated what was going on at all times. Mid-project changes to adapt to conditions were handled easily and quickly. The project was started and finished as promised. I received higher estimates from other companies, but got excellent value and results from this company. These guys are the best; i would certainly recommend them.

First, the communication was great! Start date had to be updated a couple of times but Ruben informed me. All along the way I was getting updates on the status of the project and timeline. There was a bit of a bump in the road initially on the work being performed but American Landscaping made it right. It extended the timeline a bit but only by a day or two. I am very pleased with the work and how the stairs came out.

The install was cancelled due to unable to schedule the installation date in advance.

I would highly recommend American Landscaping. This was a very big project that took about 3 weeks to complete and they were amazing from start to finish. I had a very clear vision of my dream backyard and they were able to bring it to life. As is typical with large projects, the scope of what I wanted done increased a few times. Ruben and his great team kept me informed of what those changes would mean to the project cost and I felt they were very fair with their pricing. Their workers are truly artists - every brick in our wall and stone in our water feature was laid with precision and love. Also, it is very clear their number one concern was for me to be super happy and satisfied with what they delivered.

Sod installation went well, but one of the landscape plants - a hydrangea (one of 5 they installed) - was sickly-looking from the start. I asked about it and the crew leader said it would come around but to let them know if it doesn’t. A month later, the plant was still looking poorly - much lighter green than the other 4 they planted next to it. I asked them to come assess the plant and was told repeatedly they would do so. They told me as recently as yesterday they would be here “tomorrow,” meaning today, which is a Saturday. I stayed home all day to ensure I would be here when they arrived. I event texted Ruben Crespo to let him know I also noticed a mop cypress they planted was browning, and asked that they look at it; he replied, “OK.” It is now 6pm, I’ve been sitting at home all day when i had things I could have done, they never showed and never called. These guys are not to be trusted and I regret I hired them. I don’t like writing negative reviews, but they earned it and I hope I can help someone else avoid them.

First the good. Allen Cody was very impressive and helpful. On his own, he identified an issue with a tree and was very knowledgable about getting it taken care of. I was looking forward to working with this company until I received their bid. It was more than double several of the other bids that I had received from other well-regarded landscaping companies on Angie's List. When I pointed out to Ruben that it looked like the bid included the left side of the driveway twice, he withdrew the bid, which was fine, although a little curious. I don't know whether the job was too small for them or they increase prices based on where the neighborhood is, but I would suggest getting bids from other landscaping companies as a comparison.

Ruben, Robert, and Allen were incredibly responsive and informative. I felt as though I received great tips and advice, and our landscaping and drainage were improved as a result. We appreciated their kindness and professionalism.

American Landscaping delivered a tremendous product. Has continued to follow up since they completed the project to check on sod and flowers conditions. The work expanded the area of our back yard. We now have a massive rock patio 1/3rd covered and 100 foot by 3 foot stack stone all with steps and a 6 foot wide fire pit. So happy I chose Ruben and American Landscaping to deliver our dream back yard. I highly recommend this company.

I feel like I was over charged.... It's not like it was a lot of work, we have a very small yard. We were hoping to get some other things done for the $900 we originally paid, but the overall quote was for $5k. Honestly, if I hadn't already paid for the service we would have gone elsewhere. 1. Remove large purple loropetalums with stumps from an area approx. 10’x10’. Replace with 5 Purple Pixie Loropetalums 3 gal, add brown mulch. $350.00 2. Trim all bushes as needed and discard debris. $450 3. Remove 7 Shrubs discard debris and replace with 7 Gumpo Azaleas 3 gal, add brown mulch. $328.00

Worked very had to remove old shrubs and plants. Although it looked good was not completely satisfied with work. They did send a crew over again to make things the way I wanted. Appreciated the extra service.

Classic bait and switch contractor. Hired them for two jobs, they raised the price 50% on the first job. The second job I got into it with them as they tried to raise the price again because they can't quote a job correctly. Have yet to hear back from Allen or Ruben (the owner) after multiple calls and text. They left my backyard a mess. Having to find another contractor to finish the job. Stay Away!

The project went well from start to finish. The crew kept all appointments, were punctual, and professional. I was very pleased with the final result and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I got a rude reply to my request for quote. I decided not to go with this company. The rude behavior shows that this company is not professional at all. They lost my $10K worth of business.
