Description of Work: Did a good job overall. Cost seemed to escalate as the job progressed from original projection. Probably true with any work of this type. Crew worked hard and put in long hours. Everything evened out in the end. Results are impressive. Will call them on the next phase, but will ride the future estimates closer.

Description of Work: I signed up for a deal with American Landscaping Crew that included a coupon for $2000 off services. First, I met with Alan who consulted with me to draw up a plan for new shrubs, flowering plants, and Bermuda grass. Some existing shrubs were replaced or removed. I also had a sprinkler and drainage system added. The company workers were professional, punctual, and hard working. My yard looks beautiful.

Description of Work: The proposed cost to perform the desired project was considerable higher than anticipated. The coupon was for $1499 and covered 40 man-hours. The total bid for the job was $5200. The landscape proposal did not itemize individual costs such as man-hours and materials but instead, provided a general overview of the work to be done. When asked about providing the detailed info, they responded by simply saying that the job was estimated at 40 man-hours. Assuming that is true, it is not apparent to me how materials could reach $3700. The lack of clarity in their proposal gives us concern about the actual value of the "deal." I do not want to get into a fight with this company but instead, we would like to back out and start over by contacting other landscaping companies for additional bids.

Description of Work: Vendor responded promptly to request for project and quote. Project Manager was on time, knowledgeable and professional. Received quote from vendor. Scope of project required additional costs we were not willing to spend. Opting for refund, and will consider using for future projects.

Description of Work: Replaced sod. Built retaining walls. Removed shrub. Planted tree. They were very responsive and the quality of the work was very good.

Description of Work: I was advised to hire a siding company for the work, but the contractor,Allen Cody, from American Landscaping Svcs. explained what needed to be done, wrote it out for me and was very, very helpful. If I have any other drainage issues, I will definitely call them.

Description of Work: American Landscaping built a stonewall, placed drainage in yard, and laid Tiff grass in my yard. They did an outstanding job! They were punctual in their arrival, thorough in their work, and revisited the completed job. They have a detailed contract compared to others. Ruben, the owner, was also very responsive to any questions that I had as well as Allen, who reviews what you want done and comes back to review completion. My neighbors are also very impressed with the work that they have done. I am very pleased with their work and would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: Inserted 4 catch basins, attached gutter downspouts to newly inserted drainage along with landscape fabric and stone to eliminate erosion. Removed tree stumps, added dirt to allow for regrading, and installed Tiff Grand Bermuda sod. Created a flagstone walkway. | |The final outcome of the project was gorgeous and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I would absolutely recommend this company. So, while I gave them an "A", there is room for improvement. The areas where this company could have made it a better experience pertained to our knowledge gap and making us comfortable with the work and how it would look once completed. The original contract could have been more detailed and/or additional conversations upfront to discuss the work so we understood how it would look, why it would be done a certain way, and confirm we agree with the approach. Also, I thought they could have managed the start date better. The start date slipped due to weather (understandable) and added work by the previous project. The company needed to be more proactive by calling us each time the date was to be moved. However, they were very quick to remedy any concerns/problems encountered to ensure we were 100% satisfied in the end. Hence, the "A".

Description of Work: onstructing a dry creek bed but did not allow for drainageinto the creek from natural water sources. The owner did come back and tried to fix it but not toO successfully. overall cost ended up being the same if not a little more than what would have been done by a couple of companies

Description of Work: Installed a French drain and replaced sod. Workers were punctual and hard working.

Description of Work: They called right away to set up an appointment. The work was done quickly but not well. It did not solve the problems I was having with drainage & the work was sloppy & does not look good. Part of the problem may have been all the rain but then they should have waited to do the work when weather permitted. The walk is not even, the side pieces extend above the walk which is a tripping hazard as well as looking bad, chunks of the filling have washed away. I was charged extra for them to come out & redo the walk when it was not done properly the first time. It still is not done properly or professionally but I'm not spending any more money with them. At this point, the walk needs to be completely redone.
