Our windows were not square. I was worried the shutters would not fit. They did a great job making them fit. I couldn't be happier. They are BEAUTIFUL ! They were very professional.

Installed plantation shutters for entire house. They were very easy to work with and the price was reasonable. My only disappointment is that the color is close but doesn't match exactly, but I can't really complain because they gave me a sample to review and I approved it. I just wish I had done comparisons in night time artificial light as well as during the day in natural light - it does make a difference. Overall though, I would use them again.

I knew what I wanted, so I didn't need a hard sale, nor an over sale (as by another vendor). I did get three bids for the blinds, and opted for Acadia not just for the price, but other reviews, BBB status, and my interactions with them during the contact and bid process. David was great - quick response to my contact (6 hrs), VERY flexible in coming out to measure for blinds in our new home while we were onsite for our chaotic walk through, the blinds were delivered when promised, and installed at our convenience - while we were awaiting our furniture arrival. I can honestly say that this transaction was the smoothest experience about our move!! Blinds look great and I'm happy!!

From the time the request was made to obtain an assessment, this team has demonstrated exemplary skills in Customer Service and Project Execution. Todd and Allen were the technicians that hung our shutters. They were efficient, polite, courteous, clean and knowledgeable.

Custom blind has been ordered but not here yet.

For me, their price was reasonable. They were very professional. The people who installed it were very receptive to our needs because we have animals. They were friendly to my animals. They also installed it quickly for the whole house.

The entire experience was great. The differentiator for Acadia was the confidence we had from the outset that the process would go smoothly. They were on-time, accommodating to our schedule and the finished product looks great. The installers were remarkably courteous and professional.

Excellent all around!! I am about as picky as it gets as a homeowner. I tend to tackle most projects myself but this was an area I had no experience with. I'm glad I didn't order shutters online and try to install them myself! Besides, the cost would have been the same anywayI can't say enough about how professional the entire experience was. The color match is spot on and the the end product just feels pro. Use Acadia and I promise you will not regret it.

Happy with the shutters, they look great. Easy to work with and their process around communication is good. We did have one problem with the installation . . . when it came time to do the installation, an error had been made in the measuring and ordering process. The shutters for one room were the wrong size and had to be re-ordered. This caused a 4 week delay versus the original time line.

They did a wonderful job in a timely manner and very professional.

Will was my sales rep and he contacted me very promptly and set up an appointment to meet with me at my home. He came out and helped me select what we thought would look the best, gave me a very competitive price (thanks Angie's List!) and arranged to have the shutters installed in about 4 weeks. James and Todd were my installers who did great job. They were on time, efficient, and very friendly. Overall it was a great experience from beginning to end and I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

My experience with Acadia was fantastic. Will showed up to give the quote and was professional and timely and gave me the quote on the same day. Tony did installation and was very professional. He was even sensitive to my daughter napping! The blinds are very pretty, we are very satisfied with our purchase!

They responded very quickly and professionally but weren't able to build the custom blind I required.

I called Acadia Shutters to set up an appointment. They were very responsive and set up a quick appointment time and arrived on time for the appointment. Wil Spears was my rep and he was very knowledgeable and helpful providing samples and great advice. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks for the order to be delivered and it was just over 5 weeks so right within the estimated time. When I received a call that the shutters had been completed the installation time was set up at my convenience and the installation team arrived within the time frame that I was told. The shutters and blinds are beautiful and look great in my house. I was very pleased with the overall experience and service of Acadia Shutters and would highly recommend them.

We couldn't be happier with the shutters and the installation. From the initial consultation and education (yes, I was surprised at all the different configuration, styles, etc. that are available and education is the best word to describe Wil's attention to detail), the process couldn't be easier. The fit and finish is outstanding and John, our installer, was a wealth of knowledge about the construction, fit, maintenance, ... even about the company. He is really made a great impression and clearly takes pride in his work and Arcadia. We got 3 quotes and this fell right in the middle but even if this came out a little higher, I would still recommend Arcadia for the outstanding job they did from my first call to the completion of the install.

David Ruby was the sales consultant. He was prompt and easy to work with. He was on schedule for the measurement appointment and he took the time to explain the various options and took the order on the same day. Even-though we had a slight confusion with the scheduler on the pricing, David was able to jump in and clarify things for us. The installers were also right on time and completed the job in couple of hours. Overall I am satisfied with Acadia shutters and would definitely rank them high. Also, I would like to thank my Fellow Angie's list members for helping us finding them :)

Wil did an outstanding work showing us the shutters and the blinds before we signed up. He even managed to fit us within his schedule on a short notice to check on some colors. In the first installation, the blinds were perfectly installed. the shutters were fine but not extraordinary and one of the shutters had the wrong dimension. With only one call, the proper shutter was ordered in less than two weeks and the other shutters were perfectly installed. They sent Wil and one of their best (if not their best) installation expert and he did an amazing job on the shutters. The customer service is EXCELLENT. I have been dealing with contractors for this new home for the past 10 months and Acadia Shutters are the best so far. Their products are also excellent. The whole experience is outstanding.

Perfect experience in every way. Wil was extremely helpful and professional. The quality of the shutters is much higher than others in the area. The installation was on time and the shutters are absolutely beautiful. I will now be having Acadia install shutters throughout the rest of my home. It was refreshing and an absolute pleasure working with a company that offers such high quality service and products.

Dudley came to the house to do the estimate. He was timely and informative. I never felt like it was a sale but rather a consultation.. Dudley emailed us the estimate the same day. The installers were nice and professional and quick. We had a great experience. I will say we contacted a 2nd company for an estimate. I had to follow-up with the rep to get the estimate. I emailed questions after I received the estimate and the rep never got back to me. They never followed up either. Made my decision to go with Acadia that much easier.

From the first call to get a quote, to the consultation to select the blinds, to the installation, to the follow-up call after the installation; every step went smoothly. Wil was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. His focus on customer service really made the difference. He also didn?t try to sell us something we didn?t need and was upfront about the pros/cons of the various options, which we greatly appreciated. The blinds were ready when promised and installation went without a glitch. We?re very pleased with the quality of the blinds and would not hesitate to use this company again.

I called to schedule an in home estimate for window treatments. Wil came out and showed me different products and was thorough in his description and his measuring. The blinds came in much sooner and they were installed first. The shutters and roman shades were installed at a later date. I was very pleased with everything. The installers were professional and very neat. They explained how to operate and clean the shutters. I was very pleased with the whole process.

Measuring was done on 2/7 for shutters and blinds. Everything was installed on 3/19. The order went very well. Wil Spears measured the windows and later provided us with a paint sample to be sure the shutters matched the woodwork. The installation went quickly but Carl did not tell us that the shutters could be adjusted and that they weren't done at installation. (A call to Wil revealed that adjustments were easy and I could make them.) The blinds were the same as I could have bought on line or in Lowes. The difference was the installation. My wife had the valences adjusted 3 times but I had to do it again the next day to make everything was okay. If I had to do it again I would buy the shutters from Acadia but get the blinds somewhere else and put them in myself for less money.

Still pending, I am comparing products and prices to other companies.
