I purchased on Daily Deal for 6 man-hours of general contracting repairs for $189. Amnon contacted me via Angie's list to confirm a date and ask for a list of work that needed to be done. He and his associate were very prompt on the day of service. We went through the list together, and they got to work. Polite, professional, gave some recommendations for future fixes (I have some more items that need work). Most work was completed in the 3 hrs they were here (3 hrs x 2 men = 6 man hours. Very efficient that way). They asked if I wanted them to stay another hour to finish more - at a rate of $40/per hour per man. I agreed and was happy enough to pay them a little more than that. As soon as I have the house pressure washed next week, I will have them back to finish some additional repairs to the eaves (we have holes from carpenter bees) and some wrought iron railing. Strong recommendation to use A&P.

I did read the fine print, but was not notified by the provider that he would bring an assistant which would reduce the number of eligible hours of work by the vendor from 6 hours to 3 hours. Because the assignment was to paint and assemble furniture, common sense told me that it would take more than 6 hours for one person, but it would have been nice to know this information in advance.

They worked very efficiently and did a professional job on all the projects.

Finishing part of my basement and framed the walls but needed help around some duct work. I saw the deal for 6 hours of handyman work for $189 so I contacted Amnon and he came out a few weeks later on a Sunday. The deal was or 6 hours for 1 person or 3 hours for 2. So, Amnon came with another person and started framing around the ducts as we discussed with the wood I had leftover. After 3 hours they were not finished, so I asked them to stay and finish the job which was an additional $280. I am pleased with the work. They were both very professional and courteous. I would use A&P again for future projects.

Amnon and his associate arived on time, and did an excellent job with my "honey do" list. They were very professional, and all of their work was first rate. They did an enormous amount of work in the four hours alloted time as you can see by the list of what they did. I highly recommen them to anyone needind reliable and skilled handymen.

Arrived on time as agreed. Pleasant, professional, and efficient I had not planned on any outside painting so did not buy any supplies. I was impressed at how Amnon was able to make do with what I had. I had used the same handyman for over 30 years who was no longer available and was feeling unsure about quality but Amnon did a great job. The regular price was higher but I realize it is probably in line with current market and was sweetened by the deal on Angie's list.

A&P Designers, Inc. showed up early. We reviewed each item on the list and they got to work immediately. They worked through lunch and finished everything that could be done in the time paid for. They were careful, thorough and cleaned everything up before they left. I was 100% satisfied with their work.

Amnon emailed to confirm appointment plus additional emal reminder to time frame. Was pleasant and professional and explained the details of any complication that came up. Good service for the customer attitude.

We needed same-day solution for safety and Jason provided exactly that. He quoted a reasonable charge and did not ask for add-ons afterwards. Friendly, helpful, pragmatic solution-oriented. I'm sure he'd be good on much more challenging jobs.

Amnon and Donnie were very professional, arrived on time and completed all tasks in a timely manner.

A&P Design was there for us to prepare our house for re-sale. Amnon and his crew were there to make our house and yard look pristine. Their tasks seemed numerous and included: Landscaping: Sodding, Seeding, Sprinkler System, Planting, Power washing and other Yard related tasks. Exterior Painting: Porch, All Exterior Trim, Deck Sanding and Sealing Construction: Built a new set of stairs off the back deck. Interior Painting: Painted walls and trim, Touch-up all areas from moving and Art / Picture removal. Other: Tightened up all Cabinet hinges. There were so many things that A&P did for us it seems impossible to enumerate them all. But our successful sale is greatly due to their genuine care and desire to DO-IT-RIGHT. II would recommend them on-line, on the phone and in person. In fact I left their contact information for the new owners of our house.

Amnon was courteous and went through great efforts to make sure the job was done right. There were a couple of finishing touches that he missed, but overall I am pleased with his work and prices and will use his services again

I waited for a full week for Mr. Porat's call and it never came. I contacted him again and send him photos of the window and shutter so that he could determine how long it might take him to complete the job. He again said he'd call the night before he would be out to work on the shutter. He never called. This went on for two full weeks. Finally, I emailed him and told him that I no longer wanted his services. I then found another handyman service on Angie's List and they have been nothing but professional and courteous. They gave me an exact date that they would be here and I have already talked to the professional who will be doing the work. In addition, they sent me a catalog outlining their services. I will never call A&P Designers again. Their prices seems very fair and their work might be excellent, but I will never know.

He was very prompt and courteous. All the work went very well. He delivered as promised. Once in a while, we have to remind him to do finishing touches. Cleaned up after the work. Works on Sundays which is a great plus for us. Are continuing to use his services.

Amnon and his crew did a great job with the lawn, gutters and the handywork. It took awhile to get an appointment, but it was faster than others I've worked with -- I find it very hard to find a handyman/contractor who is available on short notice!

I was very pleased with the service I received. Amnon listened to my concerns and advised. He was happy to do whatever work I wanted done, but also offered less expensive solutions. He is honest and fair. I am already putting together my next to-do list!

Amnon was very patient as we explained the small problem we had with water leakage - it was less than a full waterproofing job (which was already installed), but more than we could handle on our own. He was willing to make the initial repair that the waterproofing company recommended: This just involved putting a small amount of concrete between the basement foundation footer and dirt to stop water from washing dirt into the basement and clogging the waterproofing system. He made a reasonable recommendation to slow some seepage into the basement that did not involve major excavation: he dug up an area near the wall outside, put some concrete next to the foundation wall a few inches, and laid plastic over it before putting the dirt and mulch back down, then added some azeleas. He did exactly what we needed done w/ the driveway (fill cracks to give us another year or three before we replace the entire thing; a few hundred dollars instead of the 10K we've been told it will take to completely re-do). The only issues w/ scheduling were a bit of short notice, and we were both able to negotiate for better timing. He was very easy to work with. We will definitely give him a call with another project in a few months.

I was totally blown away when Amnon came out and told me I did not need a new door! The one I had could be repaired and that I was not expecting to hear, seeing as others quoted "replace". He was so incredibly honest! That in it's self was refreshing! He repaired the door, put a kick plate on, cleaned and painted it. Looks like new! Having him come back next week to put a Storm door on. THANKS AMNON!

i requested a quote for lawn service first. They've been providing this service for over 2 months and the yard looks fantastic. I then hire them to fix stairs to my front porch, clean the gutters and fix rotted gutters on both sides.

Overall, Amnon is very easy to work with, and the quality of his work is great. Everything has gone really well. There have been times when he hasn’t gotten back to me as quickly as I would have liked, but he always returns calls eventually.

Poor. They wanted to put off the time they told us they would start. We informed them that we needed the room painted so we could finish moving in. They came late but finished the job. They wanted to put the rest of our job on hold until they finished another job. The room and shelves had missed spots and there were drops of paint and dirt on our newly cleaned carpet. When we informed them of the problem they said they would take care of it when they came back a week later. We decided against using them for the other work. They did honor the 50% off coupon and took an extra $25 off.

A & P Designers has been prompt in starting and completing the work I've hired them to do, They designed, built and stained my retaining wall along my driveway within a day, and ensured the stain used matched the stain used on other parts of my house. Replacing the flashing along the chimney and roof was done within a day. Requests for quotes are provided within several days.

We needed a repairman to do several jobs and got a quick and reasonable quote. Easy to communicate (email) and he was very flexible with times (came over on the weekend). In addition to doing several things we needed (fixing our walkway from erosion, repairing a gutter downspout, spraying for poison ivy, etc), he pointed out several other potential areas around the house that needed to be addressed: a couple of areas of rotting wood from poor rain drainage and carpenter ant damage, reseeding the lawn and trimming the bushes, planting flowers, etc with no pressure to oblige. Great all-around handyman, lawn and gutter service. Price was very reasonable and the job was done quickly. Highly recommended.
