Communication was great and a team arrived promptly at our appointment time. Hanging the shelf seemed to be a little problematic and there were a few things I requested that they did not do (sealing rings on a kitchen faucet) but I had enough tasks to fill the time I'd purchased. The team did work diligently.

he came on time he installed my gutter. he was a very nice gentleman. he came with another man so the work was based on two workers 1 hour for $90.00

He hasn't even seen the work I have, and he already told me it would take more than the 6 hours included in the deal, and that it would take two days. I feel like he was taking advantage because I'm a woman. All I wanted him to do was apply a backsplash.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service, but I had to get a refund on it. They were not able to provide the service I needed. I was clear about what I needed done and they wanted to surcharge me and come back two different days. It just was not going to work out. Two guys came out and looked at it and said it was going to be a two day job and it would be more expensive. The main reason I did not use them was that they were going to charge me way more than the agreed-upon amount. I had a small amount of drywall to be fixed. It seemed very nickel-and-dimeish, but he was nice enough. They were responsive.

They arrived on time and set about working right away. I was pleased with the end results and their neat working habits.

I've known and used Amnon for a couple of years now since first starting w/ a door replacement. Have turned to him for anything that needed to be repaired, replaced, built or created. Operative words are "repair" not "replace". I have not found w/ them to automatically call for replacement when only repair is needed. Would recommend.

It looks great. He trimmed the tree branches off my house as well. He and his workers were nice to work with.

I really appreciate all your hard work and I am so glad to get the work completed. The owner himself along with Donnie took 3 hrs and completed the 7 projects for my home. I am so grateful that thye worked hard and was so understanding of my time!

I had a list of things to be done around the house.. . like a lot of others, I had a "honey do" list. My "honey do" list , was the running list of those annoying, small, repairs needed around the house, that "honey" just never got around to fixing! I was so pleased when I came across A&P Designers Angie's List Big Deal. A Big Deal that promised 6 hours of handy man services. The 2-man handyman team from A&P Designers showed up and wiped my "honey do" list clean, within 3 hours ! The 2 man team arrived when they said they would , the team seemed pretty competent , and they just went down the list, making things right . By the time the A&P Handymen finished , (1) the "hairline" fractures in the family room's crown moulding had been sanded ,patched and painted (2) the decorative towel rack fixture in the 1/2 bath, had been mounted, (3) the exhaust fan in the bath was working once again and (4) the new smoke alarms had been installed. I provided the materials and A&P Designers provided the handy man(men) and all went really well!

I have been using their services for about a year. I looked them up after I had a problem with the previous company I was using. They are very reasonable on their prices. They trim the lawn and clean up the cuttings afterwards. They have been very good.

Provider contacted us within 1-2 days of purchasing their "Big Offer" explaining they had a full schedule booked up through the end of March 2014 and would get in touch in 3-4 weeks to arrange having one of his crew come onsite to honor the "Big Offer" discounted services we purchased online. The coupon was for. Full day (8 hours) worth of handyman work or for 2 of his professionals at 4 hours each. Needless to say, it is now May 27th and no further contact has been made. Pretty obvious this vendor is more interested in signing and honoring work where they are being paid their full rate as opposed to the discounted offer they extended us. Will be contacting Angie's list to get a refund.

It just wasn’t the right deal for us.

A&P did a great job. Completed the whole list with professional and quality service.

It was okay. The guy came out within the first few weeks after I purchased the big deal and he did not charge me anything more than the big deal price. He provided the stucco but I provided the mailbox. He did a good job.

I tried to get in touch with the contractor several times prior to the appointment to discuss my needs. I emailed him the information since I never got to talk to him to discuss. I had an old downdraft cooktop removed and was installing a new one but the duct work didn't match up - old to new cooktop. I wanted to be sure he understood what I needed so he could complete the job. Instead he showed up and saw for himself the problem I had and simply said he wasn't sure how to go about installing the new cooktop and that he didn't have the tools with him to do it. WELL that was the biggest reason I had hired them. SO 3 hours and all they accomplished was installing a kitchen faucet and reinstalling my garbage disposal. The other issue I had was that the number provided was directly to the contractor and he would ask me to email his wife so he could look at things at night. I was fine with that but obviously he didn't bother reading the emails. Had he read the emails he would have known what was needed to install the cooktop and not been pondering the situation when he arrived. Also once we scheduled the appointment I was asked to confirm via email, which I did. Then at 10:30 the night before the service appt I got an email saying I never confirmed and if I didn't do so before 8am I would be canceled. I forwarded the original confirmation and I sent him a text and called him so he did show up. Then he was suppose to be here between 9:00-9:30am and he called me right after 9:30 saying they were running late - they showed up at 10:10. Not a big deal but it was inconvenient since I had to reschedule things for the day.

They were great. They were very thorough, easy to schedule with, and I will probably use them again.

Amnon was communicative and professional. Got through most of our list in the three hours of time we purchased. He also made some suggestions about how we could deal with a few larger long-term projects in an economical way. I would definitely use him again.

These guys did a great job. They came when they said they would. I explained everything I needed done - they were very agreeable and offered other options to get the job done right. The work we discussed was done well and quickly. Our only problem was we ran out of time!

They were professional, prompt and explained what they were going to do. They asked for input on the correct height to hang the objects. We discussed future projects and what that would entail. Overall, I was pleased with A&P Designers Inc. and I have already referred them to someone else. They were at our house for about 6 hours.

We got off to a bumpy start. The day he was supposed to give me an estimate, I had to cancel. He said his wife would call me to reschedule, but she didn't. Then he showed up one afternoon, surprised that I didn't know he was coming. His wife apparently had told him about the appointment, but not me. Once we got past that, things went much better. That first visit was for me to show him what needed fixing, and for him to give me an estimate. He told me he could do the jobs on my list, and that he and one helper would do the work, at a cost of $40/man/hour. That sounded fair to me, so we set up an appointment for him to come back and do the repairs. He and his helper arrived close to the time for our appointment, and started to work. They installed the new curtain rods and the curtains, fixed the shelf attachment to the wall, and repaired the electrical outlet. Then they ran into a problem with the storm/screen door. They worked on it for a while, and improved the situation somewhat, but then the owner told me that he didn't want to charge me by the hour for the time it would take him to fully understand the two sets of instructions (for replacing the screen and the drop-down top half of the storm/screen door). He offered to take the instructions home with him, so that he would be prepared to do the work when he came back. I agreed to that plan, and thanked him for doing that reading on his own time. I showed him another job I needed done (repairing the gas valve for the gas logs, which involves removing and replacing part of a brick and concrete hearth), and he said he would work up an estimate for that job. We also agreed that the wooden trim on my house needed scraping and painting, but that he would do that on a subsequent visit. He also can arrange for people to do pruning and yard clean-up, and said he could probably have someone come "next week" (which is the week coming up now). I had a certificate from Angie's List for 25% off labor costs, and he honored that.

We were under the impression we were to have one person working for 6 hours and not 2 people working for 3 hours, as the job was not one that required 2 people. The space was an area in a small, 1950's tiled bathroom and could hardly fit the two people. My husband met the workers and when he was told someone would come back the next day to sand and paint, he was not told that two people would be painting. We spent $349.00 and feel the provider was not clear on how many workers were coming.

They came out and fixed some things, it went very well.

The two gentlemen did the work in fine fashion. They actually made the terracing (three tiers of multiple bricks) look better than it did originally. I was only expecting them to replace some of the brick which had fallen, but they redid the whole thing with new mortar and spacing. They also readjusted a bolt lock on the screened porch that would no longer close properly. I was very pleased. I asked them for some quotes to do additional work on the house.

It was fine! Two individuals came out for the job and they did a great work. They wanted to do more, but I didn’t have anything else for them to do.

It went wonderful. I was totally satisfied.
