THIS WAS A VERY DIFFICULT COMPANY TO WORK WITH! JEFF, THE OWNER, MET US TO GIVE A QUOTE ON THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED AND THE FIRST THING HE DID WAS COMPLAIN ABOUT HIS BACK HURTING - IN HINDSIGHT PROBABLY NOT A GOOD SIGN FROM A LANDSCAPER... WE LIKED HIS IDEAS, HOWEVER, SO WE HIRED HIM OVER TWO OTHER COMPANIES. OUR PROBLEMS BEGAN ALMOST IMMEDIATELY - HE DECIDED TO GET STARTED ON THE WORK THE DAY BEFORE A HURRICANE WAS SET TO ROLL THROUGH TOWN. THE 3 LOADS OF FILL DIRT AND MOST OF THE NEW SOD ENDED UP IN THE NEIGHBOR'S YARD. THEN JEFF TOLD US THAT WE SHOULD PAY HIM TO GET MORE FILL DIRT AND SOD! THE HURRICANE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A SURPRISE AS IT WAS FORECAST SEVERAL DAYS AHEAD OF TIME. WE EVENTUALLY GOT HIM TO FIX THE PROBLEM ON HIS OWN DIME (NOT EASILY). THE END RESULT WAS ACCEPTABLE AND OUR NEIGHBORS HIRED JEFF TO DO SOME WORK IN THEIR YARD DESPITE OUR WARNINGS. WE NEVER GOT THE PROMISED REFERRAL FEE FOR THE WORK THE NEIGHBORS HAD DONE - I GUESS THAT WAS JEFF'S REVENGE.
