Lee King did a great job. I called him late on a Friday afternoon, not expecting him to be able to do the repair till the next week. He said he could do it that day and arrived about 30 minutes later. He replaced the sensor, tested the washer to be sure his repair was good, and left me with a functioning washer. I am very happy with the service and would hire King Appliance Service again.

Mr King arrived as scheduled and was able to obtain the parts and repair the issue promptly.

We have used the services of King Appliance on a number of occasions when we had various aging appliances repaired including our stove, our washing machine and most recently our refrigerator. They have always been timely, professional and reasonably priced. This time was no exception

Outstanding service! Personable , Professional, Timely, Efficient, Clean. I had called the company where I bought the washer...they could come out in a week. King came out within 4 hours. After inspecting the washer , he advised me of all the options, then went to work once I decided. It was like having a very capable family member come into your home and fix the problem... Thank you King Appliance Service! P.S. .... His job estimate was exactly what he charged...none of this " well, we had to do a little more than we thought.. and the bill is actually going to be a lot more than we originally thought" None of that..a nice honest business.

I would like to commend King Appliance for their professionalism. When our dishwasher stopped working I initially called them because we'd worked with them before, and the owner (or manager?) openly told me that they were fully booked up for the next two weeks and offered the names of some competing companies. I called those other companies and had to leave messages and I never heard back from them! After that I called King Appliance and let them know I'd wait as long as was necessary, because I'd rather have my stuff fixed by someone who cares about my business. The repairman arrived at his scheduled time of 8 AM on the dot, and was very friendly courteous and didn't seem bothered by our three small, rambunctious dogs. He got the work done in under an hour and now our dishwasher works perfectly. I am very happy with the service and would recommend King to anyone, even if you have to wait a few days. It's worth it!

They did good job and got the refrigerator repaired.

When I call him he comes right away, if he possibly can. He is reasonable, honest, and he really knows his stuff. He will not work on things that he is not an expert on, but he is an expert on quite a few things. I am still very happy with his work.

Too bad there's no indication this place is still in business.

He came out to evaluate the problem but when I called back for services he didn't respond back.

Mr. King repaired our dryer heating unit and it went out a little over a month later due to a faulty part. He came back to my residence and repaired the dryer again FOR FREE. That is the kind of customer service that you don't see anymore.

We had a refrigerator problem that was quickly diagnosed and fixed. Attention to our use needs was taken into account so that repair was timely with as little inconvenience as possible. We were very happy with this service.

This was our first call to him -- he came out same day and he fixed problem.|Used him again a couple of months later to fix disposal. Very prompt. Highly recommend him.

Mr. King arrived on time and went right to work to fix my broken ice maker. He found that there were about three broken parts and told me that it needed to be replaced. Then he went out to his van and came back in with the replacement and told me how much it would cost, which I agreed to. It took him about thirty minutes to install the ice maker and he was gone. Mr. King was not only recommended by Angies List, but also by Whirlpool.

Mr King was prompt courteous and cheerful. He showed me the parts needed for the washed online and explained it would be cheaper to buy a new one. As mine was an older washer, I appreciated his honesty. He then fixed my microwave and only charged for a visit. I would use him again anytime and highly recommend him to my friends

It went very well, he was very professional. I did not know that there is a small heater in the freezer that had gone out. It caused the freezer to ice up. Once he figured out the problem, he had to remove a panel inside the freezer, and it was frozen solid behind the panel. He thawed it out with a heat gun which took him a little while. He then installed the heater, put everything back together, cleaned up, and was on his way. He fixed my dishwasher a few years ago before I was on Angies List and did an excellent job then as well.

I had sent an email, after hours, I might add, with a question about my GE profile washer that stopped working. Surprisingly, I received a response a few minutes later in which he had answered my question about his service charge, informed me about how far out they were on service calls and requested further information on the washer so a more precise answer could be given. After receiving the information about the washer, the next day he wrote back that this particular model was manufactured by LG and that he doesn't service those and in addition, he does not posses the equipment necessary to diagnose the problem. He referred me to GE for a factory authorized repair. He could have charged me the service call by coming out and telling me the same thing but he didn't. For this, I will call him first if a future problem arises.

At a very busy time of year for him, the owner got out to me within 5 days, at the appointed time. He listened and explained what he thought was the problem, and what could be the problem, and then set to work, showing/explaining to me what he was doing with the Whirlpool Duet washer. It was soon obvious even to my untrained eye that the whole thing was clogged up pretty tight with teeny tiny pieces of rubber rug backing. He vacuumed, drained, re-did the whole thing again and again until we finally had a pretty clear tray of water. He explained that he now felt that the pump was not the issue. We discussed the importance of not putting rubber-backed rugs in the washer in the future! He spent probably 2 hours, and the cost was really reasonable. I actually set up the appointment based on the fact that my son had used him previously with good results. So, bottom line, I will be calling on him again if and when I have large appliance repair needs. Nice guy!

He's just very dependable and he comes out and does a good job. He's very honest with you and straightforward. He's pretty good and I think his price is quite reasonable. He's quite responsive. I don't know if there was anything exceptional, but everything worked. You call him up and he comes. He was on time and quite professional.

This is the third repair that Mr. King has done for us in the last two weeks (three different appliances went down in succession). Every time, he came very quickly (including calling back on Sunday night), took care of the repair very quickly and efficiently and was very helpful in discussing the issues of repair versus replacement. His fees are very reasonable. I will continue to call on him every time!

It went well. He repaired my dishwasher and gave me tips of how to get the dishes cleaner by changes my settings.

5/26/He showed up promptly to look at our dryer that was not working. He immediately identified the problem and discussed the choice of whether to repair the old one or buy a new one. We decided to have him repair the old one (replace the motor). He is scheduled to return on Wednesday to install the new motor. So far, perfect! [IF YOU WOULD PREFER NOT TO PUBLISH THIS REVIEW UNTIL THE REPAIR IS COMPLETED, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Referral did not work out. Turns out can't find an Angie's list refrig repair for my area.

Washing Machine was not spinning. I looked at the belt to ensure it was not broken. Called for service Monday Morning and got a Wednesday appointment. Lee (friendly guy) called before arriving and quickly assesed the problem was a bad motor. I was offered two options, a new motor or a rebuilt one. I chose the rebuilt one with a 90 day warranty. They ordered the motor and called me back the following Monday with an appointment time of Tuesday evening. Again he called before arriving and quickly replaced the bad motor in about an hour. Everything was tested and I am pleased to recomend them for Washing machine repair. GE top load 4 cubic feet Washing machine

When my dryer quit working I tried to diagnose the problem myself by researching on the internet. We ordered a new control board off of Ebay and tried to install it ourselves. The dryer still did not work. Mr. KIng came out to the house and verified that the part we had gotten off the internet was defective and he also noticed that a couple of springs were missing from our dryer. He ordered the necessary parts and as soon as they were in came out to the house to do the repair. The dryer has been working fine for 3 months now. Fortunately the ebay store allowed me to return the defective part for a refund (minus restocking fee). They said that normally they do not allow returns. KIng cautioned me about ordering parts myself in the future because he would not be able to guarantee that it would continue to work, whereas he does guarantee the work when it is a part that he provides. Mr. King is friendly and professional. If I ever have any other appliance problems I will be calling him.
