Handymack did an excellent job on our basement. They installed a bathroom with a grinder pump for the sewage, built a closet for the pump, HVAC, and hot water heater which also created storage space for us. built a kitchenette, added bead board to existing walls, installed a ship lap ceiling, and replaced two exterior doors. The finishing details were more than we asked them to do, so it was a pleasant surprise when we came home to a staged basement. It was nice to have people go the extra mile since it is so hard to find hard workers these days. I highly recommend Handymack for all your home improvement needs. They took care of everything from the building, electrical, and plumbing, and their labor cost was a fair price. Thank you, Handymack!

Handymack is amazing! They opened the wall between kitchen and dining room; put in support beam, pendant lights, added cabinets below bar area, Also painted all existing cabinets, all the walls and finished everything in less than a week! The work was excellent and the price fantastic....very happy!

Mack and his family were professional and helpful. Mack repaired badly rotted fascias and soffits, re-built dental molding, and re-installed gutters, using superior materials to what was there before. The work was completed quickly and efficiently, and the cost didn't break the bank. Can't recommend them enough: good people, good service, good work, and good prices! Thank you, Handymack.

I will start by saying that I wish there was a category in the "What type of service was performed?" that says "all+magic". Mack and Juri made of our recently purchased house a dreamy home. Since we are new homeowners, we had certain expectations with the very little knowledge and experience we have with house-related work. Mack and Juri exceeded all the expectations we had and beyond both in the interior and exterior jobs performed. In the interior, they painted most of the house, did a beautiful job on our kitchen cabinets, helped us with a number of --in the word of Mack-- "big problems" with the plumbing with ease and grace. They were there to help us stay calm and hired an amazing plumber, Luis, who was very generous with his time and extremely reasonable with pricing (Thank you!). Mack also hired someone to remove carpets in three bedrooms and install wood flooring. The job was impecable and done efficiently. We had some electrical work that needed to be checked and the electrician was very thorough and did a great job at a very reasonable price. Our kitchen cabinets were sanded by don Alberto and painted by Juri and they look glorious. Juri did a very detailed job with the painting! She was also kind enough to paint our vanity mirror, bathroom lights, and other fixtures at no additional cost. She also did a beautiful job with a white-wash paint in our chimney and it looks great! She is very knowledgable, professional, generous, extremely sweet and easy to work with. ¡Muchas gracias, Juri, you are a true gem! So much I could say about Mack's work inside our house, but I will limit myself to the following: He went above and beyond everything we asked for and more. Always attentive to our concerns and very receptive to our questions and requests. Mack, we are truly grateful for you and Juri! Regarding the exterior, I will start by saying, "wow"! They changed all the wood sidings that were rotten, cleaned our gutters, installed water draining systems, reinforced our deck, and hired Don José and his son to paint the whole house. They were professional, VERY efficient, considerate, respectful (like everyone who works at HandyMack), and very good people. I am sure I am missing many more things, but I am just going to stress that Mack and Juri's generosity, professionalism, expertise, trustworthiness, and interpersonal skills know no boundaries. They are the best people to work with and will ALWAYS strive to exceed (as I said before) every expectation the client may have and beyond. Great work and very professional. I had several projects performed by handymack, total exterior siding replacement, front porch columns updated, screen porch installation, deck rebuild and a few other small projects. They are detail oriented and the quality shows in their work. I will use handymack again for my interior projects and highly recommend them for any project you may have.

We hired HandyMack to repair, paint and seal our porch, pressure washes the house, and clean the gutters and downspouts. I contacted HandyMack on a Thursday and spoke to Juri Rubio, Macks spouse. We set an appointment for an estimate for the next Monday. They showed up when they said they would and we discussed the project. I received an emailed estimate that night. We agreed to the to estimate and set a time for Mack to start the project. He showed up timely with everything he would need. Over the course of four days, all the work was completed and on budget!! We have a small front and lower porch and an average size back deck. He cleaned and repaired all three, making sure they were safe. I chose the color and he did an absolutely fantastic job painting and sealing the porches and decks with excellent quality paint and sealant. I am so thrilled with how the work turned out and have already spoken to Juri and Mack about other projects for the future. Payment: HandyMack accepts cash and check. That is fine with us, we were happy to save what we needed and pay for it! Work Ethic: What can I say, that man is a perfectionist. He will do the job correctly and will not stop until it is. He is honest and dependable with a cheerful disposition. As I said, he was here when he said he would be here, he cleaned up everything and when he left, it was as if he was never here...except for our now beautiful porches. Would I use again: again and again and again!!! Come back, Mack and Juri!! You are the only ones we want to work on our home :)

handyMack worked me in quickly, began my project on-time, did an excellent job repairing my damaged wood siding with Hardieplank, and finished ahead of schedule. This was a large area that included wood trim and you cannot tell that it was ever damaged. Great work. Upgrade: 03/14/2019 Mack and his team are topNotch. HANDYMACK did an excellent job! They were very prompt to reply to my inquiry, timely and professional. Mack is definitely a skilled craftsman. I have already hired him for 2 separate jobs and will call again.

I requested this team come out and give me an estimate for a project. Mack and his daughter came out and I explained the scope of the project to his daughter because Macks English is not very strong (Hispanic). His daughter did quite well interpreting between us. They arrived on time. The job was to enlarge a utility room, remove an old water heater and install a new one. Long story short they did the work well but overcharged us for moving a light switch and an electrical outlet in which only one was moved. The charge was $200 for both, but when we asked for the refund because only the light switch was moved slightly and not to the far side of the door; we were told that they misquoted the original charge for installing the water heater. They told us that the actual cost to install the new water heater should have been $100 more than charged. As a result, they considered the contract cost balanced. However, I could not disagree more. They provided us a written quote and now when we hold them accountable for our expected credit for work not performed, they say it was a wrong quote. When we asked for a refund for work that was not done, we received an unjust reason for not getting a refund. We feel they should honor their quote or tell customers upfront when an adjustment is needed. Being told that an adjustment is occurring after the work is complete, is not appropriate. We also had to request a receipt. Their work was fine. However, I would not recommend them because of their unannounced price changes at the end of the job.

They came ready to work, and did! The job was finished before they left. I already asked for a price on another job because I plan on using them again.

HandyMack performed multiple jobs for us, so it is hard to choose categories above. Essentially they did multiple repairs prior to our selling our house. They repaired and replaced rotten siding and windowsills. They pressure cleaned and painted the exterior of the house. They installed French doors. They removed some drywall and replaced it after putting a new boot on the roof to prevent further pater intrusion. In short - lots of stuff. They were very prompt and responsive. I would use them again, and intend to when we move into our new house.

Very nice and professional gentlemen. Gave me a free estimate and did not go over that estimate. I did ask for some additional things while they were here and he was very fair in the costs of those items. He cleaned up after himself. We had him remove an old satellite dish and repair some gutters, fascia and the caulking around numerous windows.

Mack and team did an amazing job and very polite. We had them replace all exterior window brick molding and a number of window sills, facia (including removing and restoring some gutters), door frames and porch posts with pvc. Although Mack speaks little english it was never a problem when talking about and during the project, on more complex topics he would call his daughter to translate. Very clean and professional, quoted 5 days and worked hard everyday to get it done on time.

They did a wonderful job, they kept their timeline and the work was great! They were able to power wash and paint the exterior as well as replace our roof in a short window before we had a tenant move in. They even alerted us to things that needed to be repaired so we knew they wanted to be sure things were done right. We were out of town so they sent pictures and videos of the work being done to keep us in the loop. We will absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone we know.

I don't usually write negative reviews but I'm just so surprised with the level of service we received compared to the history of stellar reviews this company has received. I requested quotes for several projects around my house. The deck was the first project. When we went over the project we discussed coming back and staining the deck two weeks later. The owner told me they were having some staffing issues but she would contact me soon about starting the other projects. I gave them a few days and then left several vm messages and sent several text messages without hearing back. The deck was completed the first week of May. I didn't hear back until June 5th. By then I had already hired someone else to complete the rest of the work around the house but I did ask when they were going to come back and stain the deck. I was told deck staining was not included in the quote, despite our having discussed it. I would advice getting very specific details about what's included in the quote and a timeline to complete projects if you decide to do business with this company. Maybe this was just a one-off situation, I don't know...

Mack and his wife Juri are a great team! Both are very nice and professional. Mack is a very hard worker and even worked in the pouring rain on a Sunday to complete a screened in porch for me. I would never have expected that but he shrugged it off as if it were nothing with a smile. I would recommend HandyMack and will hire them again in the future!

HandyMack and his crew were kind and professional. From the time he can out to give us an estimate until he completed the job he consistently worked hard to deliver on his promises. Weather caused delays but as soon as things cleared they were promptly back on the job. Handymack went over and above to get the job done, and actually exceeded our expectations. No matter what condition they encountered such as repair for molding that no longer exists, they were able to make the repairs match existing structure. Mack was very resourceful at finding ways to repair or rebuild where needed. I highly recommend HANDYMACK and am in the process of getting additional estimates from them including painting a house and barn.

Mack is a very hard worker and a perfectionist. I would highly recommend him for siding work, deck building, and concrete slab pouring. You should be aware that Mack does not speak english (he's Peruvian) and all transactions much take place through his lovely wife.
