 + -1 moreThe receptionist then comes back from the rear of the store and hands my watch back. In a very condescending tone she suggests that I take it back where I bought it. I then ask her, "Shall I fly back to California since I purchased it in Palm Springs?". My wristwatch says Swiss made and cost a grand, but since it doesn't have diamonds and gold with the name Rolex written across it, they likely didn't have a clue to it's quality. Obviously they only recognize a fine wristwatch by the "bling-bling" and nothing else. They should have just admitted that they were too incompetent to service my watch rather than act condescending and patronizing towards me. I won't be visiting their store again due to their unscrupulous demeanor.
Description of Work: I requested that a new battery be placed in my Chase-Durer wristwatch. The woman at the front desk then took my Swiss timepiece to the watch repairman's work cubicle in the rear of the store. I then overheard the repairman tell the receptionist that he didn't have a tool large enough to remove the back of my wristwatch in order to access the battery. I have very good hearing and they were unaware I could hear them conversing.

Description of Work: I had purchased a used Tag Heuer watch from Ebay that needed a battery. I had a 14 day window to return the watch if there was a problem so I took the watch to Chandlee Jewelers to have them check it out. They replaced the battery and inspected the watch free of charge. It runs perfectly.
