Carson Plumbing hit it out of the park on Friday morning. A-team was sent to do the repair. Tim clearly explained and demonstrated the problem and the issue was repaired without incident. I appreciated the attention to detail and thoroughness in performing the service. Not only was the problem diagnosed and treated with perfect knowledge and skill, the work area was cleaned and the lights were even turned off afterward. WOW!!! I was also given recommendations on how to prevent future problems! When I think of Carson Plumbing, these words come to mind: knowledgeable, trustworthy, respectful, professional, detail-oriented, confident, efficient, thorough; SHINING STARS. Quick and efficient. Very polite. Price was $200 less than originally estimated.

Very professional work. Technicians were courteous, careful around newly installed surfaces and careful not to track in dirt. They cleaned up after the work was complete. Top marks! Technician took the time to explain the changes needed to our drains/vents. We had ordered a German-made control valve that was unfamiliar to the installation tech. Rather than insist that we use a different valve, he contacted the manufacturer to make certain that the valve would work with the rest of the components in our system. He then installed the valve and thoroughly tested the system BEFORE the walls were closed up. Everything works beautifully.

On every job I was more than satisfied. The folks were on time, did good work, pleasant, and fairly priced. What more could you want?

My toilets bubbled and water backed up in my shower and bathtub while my washer was draining. I called Carson Plumbing at 8:00 am, and by noon, two very professional and capable young men were at my house. They examined drainage lines while washer was draining to ensure that pipes were no longer clogged. At my request, they also inspected my 23 year old hot water heater, and reassured me that it was still functioning well.

Nothing much to say. I called them. A contractor came out with the right tools for the job and got the job done. He was knowledgeable and was in and out in 30 min. I live in Commerce, so I'm sure the price partially reflects time spent driving here from Athens.

Replacing supply pipe and flush mechanism was described as preventative. I wonder if it was not primarily to jack up cost. Note: date listed in approximate date is a wild guess. It was in the past 6 months.

Their repairs and replacements have always worked well.

It was a bit of work for him to fix the water heater but it was a nice change not to have him just recommend a brand new one. The water heater pilot light would not stay lit (gas water heater) so he ended up having to trouble shoot and replace a small gas line. He had said it was a difficult fix but It was a fair price for the time he spent and I had others say we needed a new one (1000$+) He was recomended by a close friend and I have thanked her for letting me know about him. I will use him again if i need anything done.

This is an excellent company that I would recommend to anyone. The owner came out himself and looked everything over at no cost before recommending this heater and installing it.

It was about a year and a half ago. I just knew that I needed it and paid for it. They answered the phone at 10:00 at night.

When my dog chewed up our sump pump's power cord in the middle of a very rainy spell a few months ago, Carson Plumbing responded quickly. Not only did they fix it, they ran the cord through a piece of PVC pipe so my dog couldn't put on a repeat performance. We have also used Carson to fix a septic tank pipe and install a new water heater. They always do great work at a reasonable price.

I have used Carson Plumbing in the past so when my water pipes burst, they were the ones whom I called. Josh Carson (owner) took the time to talk with me on the phone at length and answered my questions about what needed to be done and how soon they could send out plumbers to make the repairs. First set of plumbers came out, a younger team but very friendly. They made the repair but recommended that the water not be turned on to test because there was still freezing temperatures and the water lines were still frozen. Not being a plumber and not knowing the protocol, I asked them a few times to be sure that this was the recommendation and they assured me that it would be best not to test the line and implied that it could be detrimental. They went on to say that if I waited a day or two (when warmer temperatures prevailed) and turned the water back on and whereby discovering that there had been multiple breaks, I could just call them out again to take care of the issue. So, going by the advice of the professionals, the water line was not tested after the initial repair was made and was later turned on a day or so later (by me) only to discover that there had been in fact, another break in the line and within minutes water was everywhere. I had to call out Carson Plumbing for a second service call and got back on their very long waiting list. I even mentioned to them when I called why I was scheduling another appointment a few days later; that it was because the original plumbers did not test the water line before leaving the property. I didn't know at the time that not testing the line after the repair was made was not proper protocol until I talked to other plumbers during the timeline of this incident. Next plumbers that they had sent out were terrific and took care of my remaining issue and actually tested the water line to make sure that they had totally resolved the issue. I loved those guys; they were personable and went the and quot;extra mileand quot;. Meanwhile, the bill from the first incident had arrived in the mail. On the phone they had quoted me 120 dollars for the service call/hour plus labor and my visit was during normal business hours. The bill charged 150 dollars plus labor. and the whole repair job was around 45 minutes. I had to call to get this corrected. Another nuisance for sure, especially when you are dealing with a house flooding and repairs. In summation, they are friendly, do decent work and in some ways provide good customer service but in other ways, there is some room for improvement. When I had paid my bill in full, I wanted to let the owner know that it was my belief that things should have been handled differently and if they had been, there would have been no need for that second service call and more money out of my pocket not to mention extra delay in not having my issues fixed.. Not so sure that he was receptive to hearing my experience and backed up his plumbers indicating that they know better. I appreciate that he is willing to back up his employees but the facts remain. As such, I will be hesitant about using this plumbing company in the future or referring it to others.

Waterheater problem. Thought the had fixed it but did not. Came out late at night to look at it again. Did not charge me. Found that it was a problem inside the heater. Had to replace the unit. Did it first thing next morning

I have used Carson Plumbing for 10+ years now. They always get the job done well- I never have to call them back out. Their service is prompt and efficient- and I can trust their analysis of the job.

This company would not come and look at my plumbing problem. He gave me a hourly price and said he could not give me an estimate.

It went quite well. I was very satisfied with the job performance of the gentlemen who repaired my kitchen pipe and water heater.

The company's service for our basement leak was excellent in every respect: courteous, punctual, thorough, and effective.

The gentlemen were very prompt, very thorough and very professional.

Pete from Carson Plumbing contacted me after I went on Rinnai's web site looking at their products. He was able to come out the next day and evaluate the job. He was prompt, informative and courteous. After looking inside/outside the house for the location of the existing tank w/h, gas meter and possible sites for the new w/h, he gave me a ball park figure of $3000 on the premise he would give me a more precise written estimate later. His written estimate the next morning (emailed) was also $3000 w/ a description of what was included (installation, removal of old tank, capping pipes, etc). It did not have a breakdown of each component of the installation ie: price of unit, labor, electrician. I would not recommend this plumber based on my limited interaction w/ him because of the following. 1. Did not go in the crawl space to evaluate the gas lines and electrical which was part of the estimate. To be fair, perhaps his knowledge and experience doesn't require it in order to give an estimate. 2. His estimate was conveniently the same amount as his 'ballpark' figure which did not have a breakdown of the installation. 3. The estimate was based on a more expensive model. 4. His estimate was higher than I budgeted. Although Rinnai tankless w/h are more expensive than the average electric/gas tank w/h, they are still affordable if planned. By giving me a high estimate, this plumber gave me the impression the product and installation was out of my price range or he was not interested in my business. Either 1 lost him the job.

Overall, the repair went very well. Also, the plumber was going to UGA Football game later the same day.
