Description of Work: He overcharge me after the fact by $75.00. HE UPHOLSTERED MY LOVESEAT WITH THE WRONG SIDE OF FABRIC. He sent 2 teenagers to pickup my loveseat and to deliver it back. They did not return my extra fabric. I went to him and ask him to |fix my loveseat and he told me it would be too hard and that he would not redo it for free and he said it was not his fault. HOW CAN IT NOT BE HIS FAULT. I did not pay him for ruining $300.00 worth of material. Do not use this business. He actually texted me trying to start some kind of dialogue that was very hostile. He is not in Armuchee he is on Shorter Ave.

Description of Work: He made slip covers for a bamboo love seat. Previously, in November 2013, Miguel reupholstered a Queen Anne sofa and a wing chair that I got at a 2nd hand store. He made them look new and quite valuable! That job was $300 + the fabric (which I got on a $50% sale), so it was really a fair price for 2 special pieces.

+ -1 moreMigel helped me choose a fabric that was suitable for a very old family heirloom sofa and three side chairs. Although he offered to order the fabric himself, he also gave me the names of other businesses where I might find the same or equally suitable fabric at a lower price. His fees included the labor and all of the "supplies," i.e., cording, decorative upholstery tacks, lining, etc., as well as the labor. I provided the fabric, which I purchased from another business. We were quite nervous about having the sofa recovered since it had been so expensive and was so old. It is absolutely beautiful! Every detail from the original upholstery is exactly the same. He also tightened one of the arms which had become loose over the years. We could not be more pleased. Everyone who has seen this sofa loves it and asks who did the upholstery work for us. We are happy to recommend Upholstery by Migel and have several other pieces which we are going to have Migel recover.
Description of Work: Migel recovered an antique sofa that was a family heirloom and three side chairs. The work was picked up at the exact date and time promised by two very polite young men who carefully loaded the items onto the truck. Then, at the exact date and time promised, the furniture was delivered back to our home. Migel's work was absolutely perfect. Every detail on each of the four pieces was beyond our expectations. The fees were exceptionally reasonable. I cannot speak highly enough of Migel's work, his work ethic and his courteous service.
