I was charged nearly $300 for what ended up being about a 30 minute visit on Tuesday morning. When the plumber, Booker, left my house, my bathtub faucet was still leaking. I told him that I wanted to work with my home warranty service because it pays for plumbing repairs. I told Booker multiple times that he needed to be at my house in person so that the warranty company rep could speak to him on my phone, tell him what repairs it would pay for, and arrange payment. Booker promised to return to my house on Wednesday at 3:00, at the end of the business day on Thursday, and again at around 11:00 am on Friday. He never showed up at my house. My bathtub is still leaking, and I have to call in another contractor to do the job that he won't. I work very hard for my money, and I feel like I was robbed by Booker. If there is any way that I can receive a refund on the money that I paid on Tuesday, then I would like to go through that process.
