Visionworks Construction Inc

I contracted a Kitchen Remodel with Home Depot (Suwanee GA) and Visionworks Construction Inc.(Home Depot’s installer/contractor). I’ll start my review by stating Visionworks Contractors(Father and Son) would arrive on-time and the Father was professional and friendly, unfortunately that is where the positives end. Key project facts 1) I contracted Kitchen Design Services with Home Depot 2) I purchased Kitchen Cabinets and accessories from Home Depot 3) I contracted professional Kitchen Cabinet Installation services with Home Depot/ Visionworks Construction, Inc. 4) The Kitchen refrigerator is a Home Depot Product 5) The Visionworks Construction, Inc installers had full access to the refrigerator and documentation from the very beginning of the installation. I would expect that professional installation services would consist of evaluating the refrigerator requirements and ensuring any design issues are resolved. I won’t cover all the project issues in this review, I’ll just focus on Visionworks and will address Home Depot in another review. Visionworks was contracted for all installation work that included cabinet installation, plumbing, electrical and other miscellaneous construction. I have a long list of issues with their work too many to mention, so I will focus only on a view key issues. Issue 1 After installing the sink in the cabinet (under countertop install), they said they would return to complete the plumbing after the countertop was installed. The next day they communicated via email they would not return to complete any plumbing, so they left me with no drainpipes, no faucet install, incomplete dishwasher install and a massive hole in the side of my new cabinet. Issue 2 The refrigerator side boards were too long and had to be trimmed. They tried to charge me $418 to straight cut two boards Issue 3 The doors on one side of the refrigerator can only be partially opened before hitting their install cabinet drawers. Too resolve this issue the cabinets install has to be extended and the quartz countertop has to be replaced. I have tried to directly resolve issue 3 with Home Depot and Visionworks, but they provided a denial letter stating that the issue was “out of scope”. I have never sued a business before, but unfortunately, they left me no choice but to use the courts to resolve this issue. I would strongly not recommend

The experience was great! The project was completed on time and the results were beyond my expectations.

Visionworks is punctual, fairly priced, and flexible. They fix any issues right away, and I'd definitely work with them again in the future.
