They were very polite, efficient and cleaned up after the job was done. They answered my questions and were very thorough in their explanations. I was totally pleased with their work and I would highly recommend them.

The work started with locating the ducts, returns, vents etc..All equipement was positioned outside the home with long air pressure hoses..They used the pressure from the equipment to blast the 30 years of debris..I saw the before and after of some of the larger intake vents..An amazing job..They used large coiled vents to capture the debris and all vanished..No dust or anything left in the house..Where they drilled holes in the ducts to use the hose, the holes were capped at completion..They added an anti-bacterial spray in the system to further sanitize all..A strong but not unpleasant odor was apparent for about 1 hour, which they told me to expect..It did just that.. A very good experience..A very good thing for one to do..

The Duct Man was quick to return my call for a request for quote and was the most reasonable of the three companies that I called. The two man crew arrived on time (8 AM) and worked non stop until the job was complete (6 1/2 hours). They were friendly and professional and made sure that I was aware of their satisfaction guarantee on the work. They did a good job. I would use them again as well as refer them to friends.

When I first contacted them over the phone, the gentleman was friendly, courteous, and seemed knowledgeable. He quoted me an estimated price, and then suggested I go on his website and print out any coupons that might apply. The men arrived EARLY on the appointed day, were clean, courteous, and finished in a few hours. They didn't try to sell me on any services I had not ordered, and in fact came in UNDER the estimated price! I would use them again in a heartbeat. My dryer works like new, and the air handlers are not working as hard as before. Great job!

We are new to the area and have lived in our house for about a month. Before moving in we had some work done causing a lot of dirt and dust. After finding The Duct Man of Atlanta on Angie's List we called and were very pleased to get a quote of required work right over the phone. The appointment was set in just 2 days from our call and 2 friendly and courteous men arrived promptly. The work was finished in about 3 hours and at that time the procedure was completely explained. We had a dryer vent outside the house that wasn't working properly which was pointed out to us and my husband replaced that day. Since our system had not been used for awhile some dirt, and for some reason duct tape had been pulled into the fan blades, and they corrected that for us. There was a furnace filter on our system that wasn't very useful, and we were shown how to replace it with the filter we preferred using. Everything is so much cleaner today, it smells better, the air works better, and I think the best part was it cost exactly what the quote was. We were told if anything did not meet our approval to call and they would fix the problem.

I decided to call "The Duct Man", Alan, after I received two independent references in addition to reading about him on Angie's List. I have lived in this house less than a year, and had become increasingly concerned about the amount of dust in the house. After speaking with Alan, the appointment for the work was scheduled within a week. Alan arrived on time (9a.m.) and stayed all day (4 p.m.) until the job was finished. Not only did he clean all the vents, returns and replace the filters, he discovered mold in the vents upstairs and treated that also. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He showed me everything he did before he did it. The ducts had obviously never been cleaned in this (appx. 30 year old) house. As i accompanied Allen on the tour of my house, and the examination of all ducts, i was astonished to see that many of the areas had not been cleaned by our first "duct cleaning " of 2001, obvious due to there being no entry area for the hose on many of the ducts . There was even debris from the actual construction of the house (in 1989) in some of the areas (not cleaned in 2001). We really appreciate the thorough cleaning by Allen, who suggested we have this done every 3 to 4 years . i will not hesitate to call upon "THE DUCT MAN OF ATLANTA" from now on for our duct cleaning ! They hooked up big slinking looking thing and also ran another tool down in each of the vents to blast away any dust there and did a great job. They also did m y dryer vent which is a separate part, but their prices were reasonable. A couple of guys came out and they have been doing it for a long time and each of them normally work with another guy who is like an apprentice. They did a great job and I would definitely use them again. They were also very nice, friendly and professional.

They couldn't have been better. They arrived on time, were very polite, explained what they were doing, and did an excellent job, which they informed me was guaranteed (for some amount of time--I forget how long). They invited me to call with any questions or concerns, cleaned up after themselves, and were all-around very pleasant to have in my house. The air has felt much, much better since they cleaned the system. BTW, the price they charged me was $300 LESS than another company quoted me!

The 2 man crew arrived early and got right to work. They thoroughly explained the job before they started. They took the time to thoroughly answer our questions at any time during the process. They reviewed the results of the cleaning with us and offered good suggestions on how when to recognize the need for future cleaning. The overall time spent was a little less than planned. We were very happy with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their service to others.

The 2 young guys were a few minutes early - a nice surprise. They got right to work and finished within 3 hours. While they were working I asked about cleaning the dryer vent. I was quoted a price of $35-$50 depending how difficult it was. Mine was $35 & it was full of stuff so it was good timing to have it cleaned. One of the guys told me that if clothes take a longer time to dry it could be a backed up vent. We were having that issue to add more time to the drying cycle so it was money well spent. The guys were great & did a good job of leaving everything very clean. One even blew the leaves off my driveway as he was putting his equipment away.

They came, cleaned about 20 feet of vent pipe, got enough lint from the vent pipe to fill a garbage bag, cleaned up and departed. In all it took about a half hour.

The Duct Man (Alan) provided detailed information about exactly how they would perform the duct cleaning and what the charges would be for the individual components. They arrived as scheduled, were professional, performed the work as described and charged exactly according to the phone estimate. They also where very considerate about working around a day sleeper.

I don't recall the price exactly, but they gave us a discount for being a member of Angie's List and for having multiple services. They were fantastic.

The owner, Allan promised me he would be at the house between 8:00 - 9:00 am, and he showed up at 8:40 am ready to get started. He walked through the house to get the lay of where the furnaces were, duct work and any furniture that needed to be moved. Furniture he couldn't move that was under a register (upstairs registers are in the ceiling) he covered with plastic. They started with the upstairs (attic) furnace since it was early in the morning.. before it got too warm. They removed all the register vent covers and set them aside. they hooked up a large flexible vacuum hose to the furnace and proceeded to clean out eacch duct using compressed air sprayers and a tool with a feathered end to loosen dirt on the inside of the duct work, which was sucked back to the furnace, where they had the large HEPA vacuum hooked up. After they finished cleaning out the ducts they cleaned and reinstalled all the register vents. They then proceeded to do the same thing for the main floor, where the furnace is located in the basement. They brought in a small 'home' vacuum and were constantly cleaning up any dust they left behind. You would never know anyone was in the home doing that amount of work when they finished. It took them the better part of the day to finish cleaning both units with no breaks that I was aware of. They arrived at 8:45 am and finished around 3:30 pm. I'm very pleased with the work they did, their professionalism and very easy folks to talk to!

After renovations and lots of pet hair, we assumed our ducts needed to be cleaned out and searched Angie's List for options. The Duct Man came highly recommended. My first phone call found me speaking with the owner and he was very informative in describing their procedure and how it differs from companies offering to do the work for substantially less cost. The team arrived right on time and proceeded to do the work promised. They worked from the attic to the basement and everyplace in-between. Each vent cover was cleaned and the both furnaces were thoroughly cleaned and sprayed with an anti-bacterial solution that left the house feeling and smelling clean again. I watched part of the procedure and they were happy to answer my questions and explain each step. They left virtually no mess behind them and charged exactly what they had estimated. They also did not try to sell me anything else...additional services or products...and that was refreshing. They noticed a hole in my overhead ductwork in the basement and fixed it before they left. I would definitely choose them again should I need this type of service done in the future.

Allan was very professional in his mannerism and approach to handling our problem. He responded immediately and work was completed in the same week. He called to notify us that he was running a few minutes late before our appointment.

They arrived on time. Covered everything under the vents with plastic, so nothing would get messed up. I have 2 systems. Removed all vent covers and cleaned them. Vacuumed out the systems one at a time with their large hepa filtered machine. Sprayed a cleanser in all vents. The hand vacuumed up any dust bunnies or particles that were left behind on the floor when they were all done. I also had them clean out my dryer vent. They removed a whole grocery bag full of lint. I never knew my vent was so blocked. I was very happy with their services.

As a contractor this business shines. The people that came out were extremely efficient and beyond professional. They answered all the questions we had and knew a great deal about what was necessary to upkeep and clean the ducts. I wouldn t hesitate in using them again.
