First of all, Jeff came out and gave me a very informative quote. He made tons of notes and recommendations. We set up an appointment and about a week later Stephen came out and worked all day while I was at work. Basically from 9 a.m. till almost 5 p.m. My shower looks brand new. they regrouted everything, and sealed the corners to be more flexible because they were cracking. Then they put a seal coating over the entire shower. It looks fantastic. Honestly I thought it would cost about $600 so I was a little surprised, but I do believe you get what you pay for. As for Stephen, he was extremely polite and very professional. I can't stay at home with contractors, and I felt very comfortable letting him have run of my house while I was at work.

From the initial estimate and explanation of the work options, to the scheduling confirmation, to the work on site by TJ (excellent!) everything went extremely well. Colors were matched and great care was taken to do an outstanding job. Their work was as advertised and it is an enormous improvement, getting rid of eyesores and water seepage issues and transforming things as new. While the price initially seemed a bit high, I had done some comparisons with other contractors and Sir Grout seemed a better value and better product. No hesitation to highly recommend them!

Both guys worked quickly and efficiently to clean, seal and improve the look of the tile in my house. I would definitely use them again.

I decided against using them. Too expensive for what I needed done due to their $500 minimum charge.

The service provider was punctual and responsive and took a reasonable amount of time to perform the job. The work he did looked very good. Only, we had thought he was going to clean up the grout around the tub and not just apply clear sealant, so the area around tub still looks a bit messy.

Great experience overall. First I called to set up an appointment to get a quote. They were extremely responsive and were able to accommodate my schedule. Joe Bodnar,the GM, called me when he was on his way and he arrived on time. Joe spent about an hour with me explaining the entire process - the tools, techniques and time as well as the pros and cons to different approaches. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly with a no-pressure approach. I also had 2 other companies come out and provide quotes. They were all within the same ballpark, but I really appreciated the approach Joe brought to the table. Scheduling of the cleaning was easy and TJ McGill, a lead technician, was sent out to perform the work. TJ was on time, extremely professional and very detailed orientated. He even took the time to apply multiple grout colors on our floor to show my wife the difference! TJ kept the work area neat, constantly cleaning up after himself as well as explaining what he was working on along the way. I really appreciated how he kept us informed with each step of the process. Joe was in the neighborhood and stopped by to check in as well. The job took exactly the amount of time Joe quoted and there were no surprises. The entire bathroom looks brand new! We plan on having TJ clean and seal the tile and grout in our other bathrooms as well since it went so well.

5 hour service to renew the four year old travertine master shower which was starting to look a bit haggard. Steamed off the mold/mildew from the tile and grout, scraped out all the old caulk, etc. In short, the shower looks pretty darn close to brand new. Very satisfied with the looks/results.

Sir Grout transformed my Master Shower and Bathroom from a worn out and stained look to sparkling new. By steam cleaning and changing the grout color, this bathroom is just stunning now

Called twice, a week apart, and spoke with people regarding getting an estimate. Both times was told I'd be called back and have not heard from anyone. I have no doubt Sir Grout's work is fine, but I'm not impressed with their customer service.

The showed up reasonably on time. The work was done in one day. They caulked around the edge of the floor which was cracking again within one week. The job they did on the floor edge was mediocre at best. They did not caulk the only part of the shower that needed it. When asked about the issues the owner, Jeff, made excuses and offered to charge another $195 to finish the job and never offered to fix the existing issues. Not good quality and not good customer service not very professional and WAY too expensive.

It went fantastically well. Joe came in and went over everything they were going to do and even showed me a video. He said that the technician would come out and go over everything we had talked about. He was prompt, quick and professional. He was a pleasure to work with. I have recommended them to several friends. I am 110% pleased with the work that they did.

The tile looks like new. Could not be happier.

The bathrooms look brand new again. The grout stain works really well. Donald was our service provider, and he did a very good job. I will use Sir Grout in the future should I need work again.

It went fine. They did good work. I like the work and the courtesy of the worker. I would use them in the future.

They referred me to The Tile Specialist, who did a FANTASTIC job. I really appreciate the frankness that this was not their wheelhouse and the great referral. Later, I contacted them about sealing the tile after my repair, but their price wasn't very competitive.

We just moved into a new construction house with 6 bathrooms. Wanted to get all the grout sealed before using the showers, and Sir Grout has a two-step process that is supposed to protect it for years. It was pricey -- nearly $3,000 for all six bathrooms plus the kitchen backsplash. Two of those bathrooms are really large, however -- master bath has a lot of tile, and downstairs pool bathroom also. The workers were very professional, and we had a good experience. Can't really comment on whether it was worth it -- we'll see how long the grout holds up. But so far, so good.

Sir Grout responded to my note on Angie's List a little later than a couple of the other companies I contacted. Actually, the slight delay was advantageous for us--since it allowed us to meet with representatives of other companies... and now that the work has been completed, we are sure we made the right decision! Jeff Miller was the first to contact us. He was personable and professional on the phone. His partner, Joe Bodner, contacted us next--by phone--, set up an appointment for an estimate. Bodner, too, was personable and professional when we met. These guys do their homework and they come loaded for bear! Bodner carefully looked over the work, then suggested options. He had his laptop with him, and showed me before and after pictures of work similar to ours. His suggestions made good sense, and we opted for a couple of them. Francesco, the workman/tile-fellow arrived a few days later. This may sound monotonous, but I'm happy to report that he, too, was personable and professional. He hauled a fair bit of equipment to my 2nd floor, laid down protective coverings for my hardwoods and carpeting, explained again what the work would entail, then worked steadily for about 8 hours. When he was done, he asked me to inspect his work. My bathrooms haven't looked so good in years! The price was right; the work exemplary.

Santos, Sir Grout's direct employee, arrived timely on the scheduled day. He again explained what he was going to do and how long each project would take. He was respectful of our home, placing drop cloths in the master bath and wearing "booties" immediately upon entering our home. Santos was a professional--he was neat, detailed, organized, and an excellent "task master." While he was waiting for the stripper to work on the grout in the shower, he prepped the kitchen countertops. Each step, he advised us what he was doing and what we could or could not touch/do. He recommended--and received approval--on the color choice for both the caulking and the grout. He removed the old caulking, "painted" each grout line in the master shower with the restoration material, recaulked, and then completely sealed the shower. The shower looks better than when it was new 5 years ago. Jeff and Santos also provided information on how long the sealer needed to "cure" before we could use the shower and how to maintain it. (detailed cleaning instructions for future cleanings were provided). When he was complete with the bathroom, Santos cleaned up the area entirely, put on both exhaust fans and left the window open to vent the bathroom of the chemical sealing smell. He closed the door from the bathroom into the bedroom so that the cold air didn't affect the heat in the bedroom. The smell was gone within an hour. The granite kitchen counters were stripped, resealed, and polished. Again, they look better than when they were new. They have a reflective look. Santos again advised us that we needed to leave the countertops empty for 3 hours and then could use them as normal. No debris or residue remained--very thorough process for both the sealing and the clean up. This was a job very well done. Sir Grout-- specifically Jeff and Santos--is welcome in our home any time.

It went extremely well! I was very impressed with his work and professionalism.

The quality was nice and I was overall happy. The two people that came out worked almost a full day. I didn't get other estimates, but their prices seemed a bit high -- C+ in price. I would recommend them, though.

The owner is very accommodating and the customer service was very good. B+ overall. They gave me a discount for a referral, and the work looked very good initially. However, the work started degrading not long after that so I wanted to have them out to touch it up. Although there were some delays in getting them back out, they did repair the work at no charge.

We couldn't believe how well it turned out! They worked for about a day and a half, and it looks brand new. I think the price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of their work. I'd call them out again in a moment's notice, and would definitely recommend them!

This bathroom was in worse shape than the other one, so it was more difficult to make it look like new. For those considering work like this, I would recommend that you get it done before the bathroom is too far gone.

They sealant they used has held up fine and still looks nice. The price seemed high, but the quality was worth it. I would and have use them since.

They were fantastic! They were very throughout and very clean, and went above and beyond. For the amount of time they spent and the quality, the price was very fair. It took them a few hours to finish because there was a water issue that had to be resolved first. There were no issues with scheduling and I'll definitely have them come back out. Highly recommended!
